(it doesn't take blind faith to believe in the bible's god)

The bible saying there is a god still does not mean there is one. Believing there is an afterlife, heaven and hell, and a god with every ounce of your beliefs system still does not prove there are those things.

Why are Christians and most religious folks ashamed to admit their belief in god is from blind faith?

It is also using blind faith to believe life happened on its own.

No matter how much and how many scientists say life happened on its own they have no more proof than those Christians and religious folks who say they know there is a god.

What should be taught in schools about those things which we don't have proof should be the simply phrase

(( We just don't know )) And hold our heads high because we have told the most accurate truth we can at this point in time.

Christ and Yes he is a real being states that no child under age ten will ever be taught religion at all in schools and churches etc. let them be in their own zone with their fantasies etc it will help them through life rather than bombard them with these silly adult themes will only confuses the wee things.

As and when ten plus they can choose wisely their own pathways back to the sours of all life we call God. Amen.

Heb 11-1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. The reason you do not have faith is because in do not believe in God. You are the one that is blind because you can not see the truth. Having faith is proof enough for Christians. They believe with all their heart that God is real. And that is faith. Who are you to tell people their faith is blind faith. You will never know what faith is because your mind and heart is closed. And you will never see the evidence. You can say all day long that God is not real it does not mean it is not true. When will you people ever realize that believers do not have to prove their faith to you people. What don't you prove that God does not exist you people never ever mention this. No faith no proof to you people. So your statement is not the truth to people who have faith. Live with it! Nobody cares what you think.I sure don't. May God bless you.

You don't get it, do you.

Faith in (for instance) a chair is not 'blind faith'. Most chairs are reliable, but occasionally they let you down - literally.

"Why are Christians and most religious folks ashamed to admit their belief in god is from blind faith?" In the same way faith in God is not 'blind faith'. For one thing, like faith in a chair, it has been shown to work. (You may of course disagree). For another, it is based on the resurrection of Jesus. Again you may disagree, but to claim that there is no evidence whatever is simply wrong. You don't have to accept it but that is no evidence that the faith is unreasonable.

Romans 1:19-20 For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. (20) For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.
