i dont know about where you live but here in toronto they outlawed easter monday as a holiday because its not fair to the non christian businesses who have to close for a day, and its not fair to all non- christian people who are forced not to do anything because everything is closed. do you agree with taking away christian holidays? what will they do next, take away christmas? isnt america (including canada) a christian country? do you agree with what theyve done?

i agree with taking away christian holidays from being national holidays, because it is not fair to all of the other religions that don't get their holidays off (for example, Jews and Hanukkah)

i don't know why you are including Canada in America, but America is not a christian country, we have freedom of religion, and separation of church and state

Easter monday? Never heard of it. Easter Sunday yes. It is a holiday why not take the time to go fishing or something if you aren't Christian.

America isn't and never has been a Christian country. It is a country of religious freedom. There is no "official" religion of the U.S.A. and I hope there never will be.
