Why does God hate gays?

God created two sexes only. I think that answers the question. Gay are not within the creation and were not ''meant'' to be ''included'' in God's plan. The very first thing He did when it comes to His greatest creation, man, was to create a man and a woman. Thus, there are no other sexes in the Universe. Why is there something wrong with this? Because only a man fulfills a woman and only a woman fulfills a man. They were made for each other. Only if those two come together something wonderful can happen through love and result in creating a new life. A man impregnates a woman and that's the order of things and the law of nature. Simply put, it's against the rules and the very foundation of life.

A male with a male won't go far, nor will a female with a female. Also, regarding this matter, marriage is not for gay. Why? Because marriage refers to the union of the opposite sexes, a male with a female. I don't want to sound rude or harsh but that's the reality of things. The bottom line is not to continue hating anyone and I'm referring to humans but to help our fellow people out. They deserve a second chance too and I believe that since it's better late than never.

In the name of the almighty and giving Allah, I will state to you why does Allah hates Gays.

Allah hates sins and sinners, being a gay makes Allah so angry, all gays and sinners go to hell and get tortured in The Day Of Judgement.

Now why do Allah hate gays?

Take as an example " Adam And Eve "

Allah Subhanu wa taala made them A Male and A Female, while he could have invented them as 2 males or 2 females.

On the other hand, take Noah radiya allah aanhu, when he took all believers on the ship, Allah told him take 2 pairs of things, two types, Male and Female, he could have told him take 1 type, but to make the mankind bigger it has to be 2 Types, comeon have yoou ever seen a Pregnent Gay or Lesbian, so how could the human race grow bigger. Thats the main reasons, if i get you more reasons all gays will feel guilty, but I am not a religious man and I don't know alot but these are the basics why.

So peace upon you.

God does not hate gays. Notice what this scripture says in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11: "do you not know that unrighteous people will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Do not be misled. Those who are sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, men who submit to homosexual acts, men who practice homosexuality, thieves, greedy people, drunkards, revilers, and extortioners will not inherit God’s Kingdom. And yet that is what some of you were. But you have been washed clean; you have been sanctified; you have been declared righteous in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and with the spirit of our God". It is not the person that he hates, it is the actions. A drunkard can not judge a gay man. An adulterer can not judge a gay man. This scripture refers to them all as the same. God does not like any of these actions but he also realizes that the person can change if they want to.

God does not hate gays. Because we as Christians say people are in sin(everyone) does not mean God hates them, rather God has made a way for a relationship with him. Read John 3:16, you know...... the scripture behind the field goal when an extra point or FG is made.

God does not hate gays. People made that up because they personally dont like gays, so they say some god or God hates them just to justify it.

God knows full well that it's not wrong to be a homosexual. God still hates it though because we are like a bunch of animals that are being bred. Seriously we're a bunch of animals put here by them and they wants us to breed.

They view us as nothing more than cattle and toys to toy with. Just like the creatures of old.

The beings who made this place are psychopaths and that is completely obvious. Homosexuality is not wrong but they still hate it because we aren't being productive so they can get what they wants. They're evil.

There were only but a few sexual things that harm people. Reproducing is the main one but there are a few others to.

Wow what a book this is. "I made earth have kids now." Thats all it's saying, **** these guys!

On a sidenote though no one should do it in the wrong holes though, it's harmful and hurts people.

I don't think anyone can be entirely sure on God's opinions regarding gay people. It's not like he told that to us directly. And as far as the bible or Koran or whatever religion u r from is concerned... There r many misconceptions developed about these views. And I dot think if god were true that he would hate gay people. Because people are people and everyone of.us is a sinner.

The Bible makes it clear that God designed sex to be engaged in only between a male and a female and only within the arrangement of marriage. (Genesis 1:27, 28; Leviticus 18:22; Proverbs 5:18, 19) When the Bible condemns fornication, it is referring to both homosexual and heterosexual conduct. There is no evidence that God views one form of immorality as worse than another. “God is not partial.” (Acts 10:34, 35) Of course, Jehovah does not tolerate any continued and persistent violation of his perfect moral standards. He definitely hates the obstinate disregard of his principles. However, he keeps the door for reconciliation open. (Psalm 86:5; Isaiah 55:7; 1 Timothy 2:3,4) Therefore, the Bible is not unreasonable nor does it promote prejudice. It simply directs those with same-sex urges to do the same thing that is required of those with an opposite-sex attraction—to “flee from fornication.” (1 Corinthians 6:18)

Who told you God hated anyone? Id like to know. God made man and woman for each other, it changes with time. God doesn't hate them, he's not a hater. But it's encouraged that you convert it and live accordingly to his word. I'm not oblivious to the outside word because I'm an Apostolic. I've had this question so many times.

Why does "GOD" Hate gays ?

I have Never seen a God . nor have any ever been proven

But I have seen Humans who do Behaviors that Express a strong dislike for Gays

one can define that as hate they also claim they are directed to hold that point of view from their conceptional personified IDEA what they call a god a rubber stamp to justify their behaviors .one could never elevate humans to a status of Gods .

because reality tells me Humans actually Exist they are the ones doing the behaviors

. What is the difference between a THOUGHT/IDEA and a GOD

. Now please demonstrate that difference

Just as many have stated, God does not hate gays but hates the sin they

commit, just as he hates all of the sins that humans commit. Picking out one sin over an other is man's idea, not God's.

the sinner but hates the sin. That is what he teaches us to do as well.

God does not hate gays.
Romans
2015-11-23 16:41:03 UTC
The fact of the matter is God loves gays. He did, after all, send his only begotten Son to die for their sins. How much more proof could there possibly be that He loves them? So to ask "Why does God hate gays" is a rebellious question.

God does, however, hate sexual immorality, gay, straight, or otherwise -- just as He hates all sin. But He loves us so much He took our punishment upon himself, so all that is left is to turn to His Son, the risen Christ, and accept the forgiveness offered us. But we must do so with our whole heart, which necessitates repentance for our sin.

When we do that the Bible tells us we experience a spiritual birth and become "a new creation in Christ." The fruits of this conversion may not become visible right away. Christ changes us from the inside out and the work can be slow in some people. Most of us still struggle with whatever sins have had a grip on us, but we begin -- sometimes gradually -- to feel guilty about it, and seek to live a life more pleasing to God.

This is why someone cannot lead an unrepentant sinful lifestyle and be Christian. It simply isn t possible. We must truly receive Christ with our whole heart seeking forgiveness, and when we do that he begins to change us. Unrepentant sinners, by contrast, don t feel they have anything to apologize for and continue to live in open rebellion against God.

Acts 4:12: And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.

Does God hate gays? No. He hates sin. But he loves us.

Romans 5:8: But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

So the question is whether you love your sin more than you love God. Are you going to stubbornly cling to your sin unto death? Or are you going to accept the sacrifice and spend eternity with your Creator who loves you?
Emily

God does not hate people who are gay. He love everyone in the world. It may be a sin but he still loves them. He and people who are gay do go up to heaven as long as they've done so many good things and are willing to accept God's forgiveness. It's difficult to explain but no mater what he loves everyone.

"Why does God hate gays?"

Interesting question, especially for cult christians. Because homosexuality isn't condemned in the BuyBull.

You need to take a good, solid course in religious history -- one that actually looks into the oldest texts of each cult book you study.

The BuyBull, for example, is grossly mistranslated in all of today's versions that are published, printed and distributed. You know that, right?

If you examine the actual translations of the oldest biblical texts that are still in possession of mankind, you will see VERY CLEARLY how today's BuyBulls are grossly, ridiculously mistranslated. And, by the way, not a single one of even the oldest, oldest biblical texts we have are extant. For example -- NONE of the oldest texts we have contain even one anti-gay comment or scripture. Not one. So where do the ones in today's BuyBulls come from? They were added later. And, poorly done -- because in actuality, none of those rewritten/later-added scriptures are even anti-gay, unless you take them out of context and manipulate the meaning (referring to the usuals that people spout off from Leviticus and Romans, etc)...

For example -- take the moronic scriptures in Leviticus that people interpret as anti-gay. If they REALLY were, then why does god ONLY restrict male+male sex, and leave female+female sex completely without comment? Is the BuyBull god so STUPID that he forgot to talk about lesbians and give them the same restrictions?

Let's be real... it is an ignorant, hateful, outdated, bronze-age cult book that has nothing to do with any universe-creating god. But ONLY a moron would interpret these texts as anti-gay, and only to feed their own personal hatred for gays. (This is only one example of THOUSANDS that exist to show how error-filled and fatally flawed the BuyBull is).

So, if you are looking for contextual integrity from the NT (or even the OT for that matter), you are wasting your time. I suggest you take a very objective, well-reputed course in Religious History and you'll soon learn what I am talking about.

God doesn't hate homosexuals, he hates sin, because the wages that sin pays is death. Homosexuality is not the only sin, but it is one of them. Romans 6:23; 1 Corinthians 6:9-11

He wants us to live forever, and knows what we can do so that he can accomplish that. We have to love him, love our fellow human, put faith in his means of salvation, Jesus Christ, and listen to him. Matthew 22:36-39, John 3:16; John 8:31-32; Acts 4:12

God doesn't influence even straight kids to commit suicide over bullying by the shame against LGBt people they promote/demand there be in society by their satanic evil idolatrous hate filled merciless doctrines of devils(they even kill their own kids by demanding entire classifications of millions of people be shamed and therefore harmed impoverished and murdered, and not even just some people/minorities, but they still don't care. Their hate is still too much their object of worship. They have nothing to do with God. They just pretend He is their reason for anything. Pure evil's desire/cleaving/suckling at for to be cruel and revile, is their actual god. God doesn't hate gays, hateful murderous destructive bigot christian conservatives who's sinful beliefs warrant them the death penalty at for the crimes against humanity they are, do. The Bible assures us that God’s will is that “all sorts of men should be saved and come to an accurate knowledge of truth.” (1 Timothy 2:4) Though the Bible disapproves of homosexual acts, it does not encourage hatred of homosexuals.

God’s view of homosexuality cannot be watered down. At 1 Corinthians 6:9, 10, the Bible clearly states that “men who lie with men” are included in those who “will not inherit God’s kingdom.” But verse 11 adds the comforting thought: “And yet that is what some of you were. But you have been washed clean, but you have been sanctified, but you have been declared righteous in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and with the spirit of our God.”

Clearly, those who sincerely desired to worship God on his terms were warmly welcomed into the early Christian congregation. The same is true today for all honesthearted ones who seek God’s approval—not by reinterpreting the Bible—but by bringing their lives into harmony with it.

Jehovah God is a loving person. So naturally due to his nature, he doesn't "hate" anyone. However, their are things that are displeasing to Jehovah. One of those being "submitting to homosexual practices" (1 Corinthians 6:9). Does this mean that Jehovah hates the individual, no he doesn't. He is hurt and strongly displeased with the action that the individual has decided to make. This is perfectly sumarized in God's Word at 1 Corinthians 6:9,10. I strongly encourage you to read this in your spare time.

ALL have sinned, and I guess that no sin is any worse that any other sin. It may have something to do with how according to myth, God made humanity in His image, and since He made homosexuals, it follows that there's part of Him that's gay, which means that since God hates gays, He hates that part of Himself, which means part of Him is a self-loathing homosexual.

God created humans to engage in sex only within the arrangement of marriage between a male and a female. (Genesis 1:27,28; Leviticus 18:22; Proverbs 5:18,19) The Bible condemns sexual activity that is not between a husband and wife, whether it is homosexual or heterosexual conduct. (1 Corinthians 6:18) This includes intercourse, fondling another person's genitals, and engaging in oral or anal sex.

While the Bible disapproves of homosexual acts, it does not condone hatred of homosexuals or homophobia. Instead, Christians are directed to "respect everyone."-1 Peter 2:17.

He doesn't; he hates what they do, if they're practising gays. He also hates fornication and adultery, but doesn't hate straight people. However, no sin is unforgiveable, no matter how awful. Sex has boundaries for reasons, and single straight people are expected to remain celibate as well as gay people, and married people expected to remain faithful to our spouses.

As Artemis writes, Moses third book, Leviticus, says: "You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination."

But then, three paragraphs before that, it says that a man shall not round shave his hair or beard ... does that mean that the bearded Bin Laden was closer to God than ... the Pope?

Incidentally, here in Norway, gay people get married in the church. Well, most of them. It is up to the priest to decide if he, or she will marry them. If not, he or she has to inform of another priest who accept to do it.

There are sins that God considers to be worse than others evidenced by the fact that the bible teaches that there will be degrees of punishment in Hell (Luke 12:47-48). Homosexuality is not just another sin amid a plethora of sins increasingly abided by in America. It is a uniquely grievous sin identified in the bible as a barometer of how depraved a society has become. In the book of Romans, Paul identifies it as the sign of a society begging for the wrath of God (Romans 1:18-27).

Modern day prophets, such as the reverends David Jeremiah, Robert Jeffress, David Reagan, Franklin Graham, Hal Lindsay, John Hagee, and others continue to warn about judgments to befall America for our rebellion against God. I am not a prophet, but I believe that one of the most significant judgments God has already laid upon our nation is giving us a leader we deserve. The Obama judgment may be the precursor to the downfall of America.

A consistent theme throughout the bible is God giving an unrepentant nation a leader that will usher them to destruction. In a previous commentary (President Obama: God's "Gift" to America) I discussed the concept that God has given us Barak Obama as a leader who will hasten our demise. The damage that Obama has wrought, and is likely to continue to wreak in his waning days in power, is unlike that done by any other president.

You notice its the behavior that is an abomination. Even the barn yard animals know who to mate with. It is mans selfish ways that make him choose his own path and not Gods. So yes I believe people choose gay behavior out of selfishness. Sin comes from just that. And we all have the right to choose or reject Gods plan for us. So we choose to reject what he tells us and that is where we fall.

6 You shall destroy those who speak falsehood;

The Lord abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man.

Psalm. 11:5-6,

The Lord examines the righteous,

but the wicked, those who love violence,

he hates with a passion.

6 On the wicked he will rain

fiery coals and burning sulfur;

a scorching wind will be their lot.

THERE IS NOTHING IN THE BIBLE TO SAY THAT THE ABRAHAMIC GOD FROWNS ON HOMOSEXUALITY!

The book of LEVITICUS pertains to Levites, people of the Hebrew tribe of Levi, who served particular religious duties for the Israelites as priests. The entire book of Leviticus is composed of priestly literature and priestly code. Majority of scholars agree that the Pentateuch received its final form during the Persian period (538–332 BC) but that Leviticus had a long period of growth, with many additions and editings, before reaching that form.

One of the Levi high priests received many complaints of children and young men being sodomized (i.e. rape), and to prevent this, he wrote this law:

Lev. 18:22, "You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination."

This law has nothing to do with homosexuality (i.e. consensual sex between adults). How would the high priest come to know of what consenting adults do behind closed doors?

However, people were still not deterred from committing sodomy, so the Levite high priest had to write this:

Lev. 20:13, "If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltness is upon them"

ROMANS, short for Epistle (i.e. letter) to the Romans, was composed by the “Apostle” Paul/Saul of Tarsus around 55 AD, to explain that salvation is offered through Jesus Christ. At first Paul zealously persecuted the early followers of Jesus of Nazareth and violently tried to destroy the newly forming Christian church – until he realized that he could gain more influence and power by jumping on the Christianity gravy train. Thereafter, Paul travelled around the territories, evangelizing. He suffered from hallucinations and epilepsy. He was trying to convert Romans to Christianity by scaring them with every shocking, titillating thing he could think of.

“…I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God to give salvation to every one that believes….For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith:…. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men… Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator …God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature. And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly…..”

That is clearly evangelizing and proselytism - Convert to Christianity or face the wrath of god (apparently, the wrath of god comes in the form of lust for the same gender!). JUST BECAUSE A RABID PAUL WROTE THIS TO THE ROMANS, DOES NOT MEAN THAT JESUS OR GOD WAS AGAINST HOMOSEXUALITY. Paul never even met Jesus – so how could he even know anything? He was an ambitious, misogynistic, opportunistic, corrupt politician who thought that his epilepsy and hallucinations made him special. Paul also wrote First Epistle to the CORINTHIANS, in which 6:9-10 says the same thing.

As mentioned ,God does not hate races , Some people can make choices that can distant them from God . And we live a society that has made their own impact on the world and view of what is acceptable . God is a god of love and it it shown as to how he view people and standards he has placed on mankind.I have attached some articles below , I hope you can find it useful .

.AS ILLUSTRATED in the above scenario, few events create more media buzz than when a celebrity hints at or comes out as being gay, lesbian, or bisexual. Some people praise such ones for their courage; others condemn them for their debauchery. Between the two viewpoints, many see homosexuality as nothing more than an alternative lifestyle. “When I was in school,” says Daniel, 21, “even straight kids felt that if you had a problem with the idea of homosexuality, you were prejudiced and judgmental.”

Attitudes about homosexuality may differ from one generation to another or from one land to another. But Christians aren’t “carried hither and thither by every wind of teaching.” (Ephesians 4:14) Instead, they adhere to the Bible’s view.

What is the Bible’s view of homosexuality? And if you live by the Bible’s moral code, how can you respond to those who label you prejudiced, judgmental, or even homophobic? Consider the following questions or statements and possible responses.

“What does the Bible say about homosexuality?”

“The Bible makes it clear that God designed sex to be engaged in only between a male and a female and only within the arrangement of marriage. (Genesis 1:27, 28; Leviticus 18:22; Proverbs 5:18, 19) When the Bible condemns fornication, it is referring to both homosexual and illicit heterosexual conduct.”*—Galatians 5:19-21.

“What’s your view of homosexuality?”

“I don’t hate homosexuals, but I can’t approve of their conduct.”

Remember: If you’re guided by the Bible’s moral code, then that is your lifestyle choice, and you have a right to it. (Joshua 24:15) Don’t feel ashamed of your view.—Psalm 119:46.

“Shouldn’t Christians respect all people, regardless of their sexual orientation?”

“Absolutely. The Bible says: ‘Honor men of all sorts’ or, as Today’s English Version renders it, ‘Respect everyone.’ (1 Peter 2:17) Therefore, Christians are not homophobic. They show kindness to all people, including those who are gay.”—Matthew 7:12.

“Doesn’t your view of homosexuality encourage prejudice against gays?”

“Not at all. I reject homosexual conduct, not people.”

You could add: “To make a comparison, I also choose not to smoke. In fact, I find the very idea of it repugnant. But suppose you’re a smoker and you feel differently. I wouldn’t be prejudiced against you for your view, just as I’m sure you wouldn’t be prejudiced against me for my view—am I right? The same principle applies to our differing views of homosexuality.”

“Didn’t Jesus preach tolerance? If so, shouldn’t Christians take a permissive view of homosexuality?”

“Jesus didn’t encourage his followers to accept any and all lifestyles. Rather, he taught that the way to salvation is open to ‘everyone exercising faith in him.’ (John 3:16) Exercising faith in Jesus includes conforming to God’s moral code, which forbids certain types of conduct—including homosexuality.”—Romans 1:26, 27.

“Homosexuals can’t change their orientation; they’re born that way.”

“The Bible doesn’t comment on the biology of homosexuals, although it acknowledges that some traits are deeply ingrained. (2 Corinthians 10:4, 5) Even if some are oriented toward the same sex, the Bible tells Christians to shun homosexual acts.”

Suggestion: Rather than get ensnared in a debate about the cause of homosexual desires, emphasize that the Bible prohibits homosexual conduct. To make a comparison, you could say: “You know, many claim that violent behavior can have a genetic root and that as a result, some people are predisposed to it. (Proverbs 29:22) What if that was true? As you might know, the Bible condemns fits of anger. (Psalm 37:8; Ephesians 4:31) Is that standard unfair just because some may be inclined toward violence?”

“How could God tell someone who is attracted to people of the same sex to shun homosexuality? That sounds cruel.”

“Such reasoning is based on the flawed notion that humans must act on their sexual impulses. The Bible dignifies humans by assuring them that they can choose not to act on their improper sexual urges if they truly want to.”—Colossians 3:5.

“Even if you’re not gay, you should change your view of homosexuality.”

“Suppose I didn’t approve of gambling but you did. Would it be reasonable for you to insist that I change my view, simply because millions of people choose to gamble?”

Remember this: Homosexuals, along with most people, have some ethical code that causes them to deplore certain things—perhaps fraud, injustice, or war. The Bible prohibits those behaviors; it also draws the line at certain types of sexual conduct, including homosexuality.—1 Corinthians 6:9, 10.

The Bible is not unreasonable, nor does it promote prejudice. It simply directs those with homosexual urges to do the same thing that is required of those with an opposite-sex attraction—to “flee from fornication.”—1 Corinthians 6:18.

The fact is, millions of heterosexuals who wish to conform to the Bible’s standards employ self-control despite any temptations they might face. Their number includes many who are single with little prospect of marriage and many who are married to a disabled partner who is unable to function sexually. They are able to live happily without fulfilling their sexual urges. Those with homosexual inclinations can do the same if they truly want to please God.—Deuteronomy 30:19.

God hates those who reject the atonement made by the Lord Jesus Christ, and God also hates those who do not repent of their sins.

Hebrews 10:29, Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath accounted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath despised the Spirit of grace?

John 3:36, He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Psalm 5:5, "The boastful shall not stand before Thine eyes; Thou dost hate all who do iniquity,"

Psalm 11:5, "The Lord tests the righteous and the wicked, and the one who loves violence His soul hates."

Lev. 20:23, "Moreover, you shall not follow the customs of the nation which I shall drive out before you, for they did all these things, and therefore I have abhorred them."

Hosea 9:15, "All their evil is at Gilgal; indeed, I came to hate them there! Because of the wickedness of their deeds I will drive them out of My house! I will love them no more; All their princes are rebels."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

The practice of homosexuality is destructive to the human soul. God makes it clear that homosexuality is a sin (Leviticus 18:22; 20:13; Romans 1:26–27; 1 Corinthians 6:9; Jude 1:7; 1 Timothy 1:10; Revelation 21:8). Supporting gay marriage is a sin because it means to support homosexuality and the perversion of Holy Matrimony. If a nation legalizes gay marriage, that nation will be cursed.

Homosexuality is caused by iniquity. Iniquities (tendencies that cause one to sin) pass down the generation line (Numbers 14:18). When one accepts Lord Jesus as their Saviour, God forgives their sins and removes their iniquities (evil tendencies) in the subsequent transformation process which makes one more and more like Christ.

2 Corinthians 3:18

But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

2 Corinthians 5:17

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Hebrews 9:12-14

Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Titus 3:5

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

After genuinely accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as their Saviour, ALL sinners (those who practice homosexuality, alcoholics, liars, drug addicts, fornicators etc.) will be saved and transformed. Each believer is cleansed by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ and receives the infilling of the Holy Spirit who renews them.

REDEMPTION BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH

Because mankind is incapable of meeting God’s standard of perfection necessary to abide in God’s presence (Romans 3:19-20,23), God sent His Son Jesus Christ to pay the total debt for the believer’s sins and mercifully credits to his account Christ’s righteousness (Romans 3:21-28,5:1-11; 2 Corinthians 5:18-21). Jesus’ gracious act of atonement was complete and covers all sin (Colossians 2:13-14; 1 John 1:9). Salvation is not based on good deeds but according to the mercy of God (Titus 3:4-5). Believers are justified by faith; it is a gift by God’s grace (Romans 4:3-8; Ephesians 2:8-9). A true, living faith will result in a desire to live a holy, loving life of good works (Ephesians 2:10; Galatians 5:6; James 2:14-26), but failure to be absolutely successful at righteous living does not negate the believer’s justified status.

If you sincerely say this prayer, your sins will be washed away, you will be redeemed to God, be saved from eternal torment and inherit the Kingdom of God:

"Dear Jesus,

I am a sinner.

I repent of my sins.

Please forgive me and save me by your shed blood;

come into my heart.

I want to receive you as my own personal Lord and Savior.

Amen"
