it is true, there are a host of catholic churches which have become a hotbed of sinful teaching in the disguise of "progressive thought." I must admit that prior to having seen or read the vagina monologues I fell for the hype as well though. The advertising for that particular scripting is done very well. However, upon actually SEEING the monologues only one conclusion can be drawn: they are counterproductive to the very cause they claim to bolster.



For example, in one monologue they advocated that men shouldn't view women as sexual objects because that promotes violence, abuse, etc... but this was tagged up with the message that women should be allowed to dress (or undress) however they like in public. So here I am in the audience being told women aren't sexual objects to be labelled sl*t, etc, while the very woman telling this is talking about how she should be able to dress and stripping on stage. Very classy for a catholic school (that last bit was sarcasm)
