Did you know we are not descendants of monkeys?

But rather they are more like distant cousins and that we are descendants of bacteria. Even us black and white folks. That's right we are all folks my brothers and sisters

Everything started in a primordal soup but what are you so afraid of that you ignore the truth?!!

Primates are mammals that include lemurs, monkeys, apes and humans.

The Strepsirrhini, or “wet-nosed” primates, which include lemurs and lorises, branched off around 63 million years ago.

Old World monkeys and apes divided from New World monkeys about 40 million years ago.

Aegyptopithecus zeuxis, which probably resembles the common ancestor of New World monkeys and apes, lived about 29 million years ago.

The apes split from Old World monkeys about 25 million years ago.

Humans and chimpanzees diverged 5-7 million years ago.

Of the macaque's nearly 3 billion DNA base pairs, 93.5 per cent are identical to those in the human genome. This is not unexpected for a species whose lineage diverged from our own about 25 million years ago. The human and chimp genomes, which diverged just 6 million years ago, are about 98 per cent identical.

One puzzling discovery is that several mutations that cause genetic diseases in humans - such as phenylketonuria and Sanfilippo syndrome, which lead to mental retardation - are the normal form in macaques and, presumably, our own ancestors.

So on each split the original got left behind to stay as it was!

The first true hominid has been shown to almost certainly arrived in the Great Rift Valley but as a product of evolving from it's monkey and ape ancestry!!

In many ways trying to deny these facts is worse than the creationinsts fantasies!!

Both show a desire to ignore the truth!!

What I find funny about the whole evolution/creation battle is that they are two sides of the same coin. Neither knows what happened. (mind you the evolutionists have more to support themselves than a book written by the insane.) The truth of the matter is, they are both ignorant beliefs. No one will ever know exactly how we got here. (Unless time travel was somehow made to work.) So take a stand on either side, and you are just as ignorant as the other side.

Yes, most atheists do. This is kinda old news. It's not just bacteria, we are both descended from some kind of ape. All monkeys are apes but not all apes are monkeys. It's flawed thinking that brought about the monkey ideology.

LOL! Nobody ever asserted that man descended from monkeys. Evolution suggests that we and monkeys have a common ancestor. But if you go back far enough we have a common ancestor with insects! With banana slugs! With Republicans!

We can't live without bacteria, but they can live without us. They were here millions of years before we came along, and they'll be just fine after we're gone.

Many people would agree with your theory of the creation of all life and mutations leading to more complex organisms etc... But then again, many would not. It's hard to tell how exactly life originated on earth, but to say so certainly that we all originated from bacteria is a bit premature in terms of our knowledge on the matter. I'm not saying you're wrong, but this "fact" is not set in stone. *I even agree with you!

Most people who paid attention in school should know that. But if it's news to you, congratulations on your startling discovery. There are a whole lot more interesting discoveries like that out there if you keep studying you will find those out too and it could change your world view. Life is endlessly facinating.

You know that is a big hoax as we came from a boat 6000 years ago with loads of forged material to confuse the atheists into believing in sciences and actual events , little do they realise just how wrong they all are about us the true race of reptile men from gamma 7 quadrant 3 , ssszzzzzz ccrrrr iiikkkk ssssuuukkk kkkkiiikkikiikaakkkka ! whoops I let my cover slip drat !

yup... anyone with a basic understanding of evolution and our species' history should know we are not descendants of monkeys

I saw a video on YouTube with Richard Dawkins explaining that.
