Why do people believe that everybody will go to heaven?

The bible says that there will be a new earth according to 2 Peter 3: 13. So if everybody goes to heaven or hell then why is God making a new earth? Some people say that the new earth will be in heaven but there are no scriptures to prove that :/

They are ignorant of the fact that not everybody will go to heaven.

There will be a new heaven and a new earth, so they are two different places.

We will live on the new earth for 1,000 years then go to the new heaven.

The Universalists teach universal salvation but its not biblical. Anyone who teaches your premise is not quoting from scripture which rather says this



Luk 13:24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

The "new earth" in scripture is a spiritual concept - not at all literal. God will never destroy earth and replace it with another one.

Because since they were taught during their childhood that if they believe in god and follow the principles of the bible they will go to heaven. We call this Christian mythology.

To me it sounds like you go to heaven until the new earth. Then when a new heaven and earth are made you go to the new heaven, while the earth is reinvented.

So in the end, "every knee shall bow, every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord."



In the end, even Satan would cease to be the "satan" (enemy) of God and become renewed and go back to be an angel of God.
