I have developed a Weird imagination. I would listen to some songs that are crazy, and is consideresd devil worship by christians. I love the movie "The Exorcist" and since then I have been creating imaginations in my mind of possessions and exorcisms. Everytime i listen to some music i make up characters in my mind that are possessed and exorcised. I havent been to church in years because one of my old church had burned down, and I havent found another church that i can relate to and actually pay attention. I love God and I love Jesus.. I worship Jesus(God) as my savior. I havent read the bible in soooo long either. I am interested in archaeology, mostly demonology. Ever since I did a report on demons I have actually had more of these imaginations. I experience Deja vu alot and very often do i have demon opression, but every time i do have opressions, I call on jesus and I know that he saves me. I love God and Jesus and cherish my believes. Am I a satanist/no longer a christian? Help

You're not a Satanist simply because you're fascinated by the idea of demons. Real Satanists don't actually believe in Satan. You're still a Christian, but you seriously need some meds.

If you live by Christ, you are a Christian. Good music is good music, the Exorcist is a well made and suspenseful movie, and a lot of people haven't found a church that's right for them. Demonology is an interesting topic.

As for demon oppression, I would worry about that one. You call what happens to you oppression, but I would note the signs of this rather than automatically giving it a label. It could be some kind of illness. There are disorders, for example, that can make a person feel like they are being restrained or choked, when actually, it's just neurons misfiring. There are also chemical imbalances in the brain that can cause distortions in perception. I would write down the specific things that happen to you and talk about them with a doctor without trying to put a name to it. Good luck, and try describing the occurrences in detail on the health section, you might get some help there. (But I still say go to a doctor, that sounds like it could be a fixable problem.)

Your faith is just fine, hon.

What you are is wandering other possibilities

You don't have to be fixed, you can believe in devils and their power all you want and still worship whatever you want

Course other Christians (no insult to you) might demand that you read the bible more, stop thinking about demons and get re-baptized (if such a thing can happen)

seems to me that your curious, you want to know more--well go for it!!! If Jesus is your savior and you believe in his power then he should be able to stop dark knowledge from consuming you

but also remember, good and evil are illusions, God and Satanist might be on opposite sides but doesn't mean either one are evil or good....they just don't like each other :D

I'm sorry that you've had some experiences which left you feeling this way about Christians. While I am not a Southern Baptist ... nor any type of Baptist for that matter ... I would suggest not singling them out. You see, Jesus taught us in Luke 5:31 ""It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. 32 I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance." Because of this, obviously, we can't just kick people out of church when they fail as Christians in some respect, such as having a bad attitude toward you or toward Muslims. Rather, we must work with them to help them overcome these problems. Also remember that not everyone who goes to Church or CLAIMS to be a Christian actually IS a Christian. In fact, I dare say that in the U.S. the fake Christians outnumber the real ones. In countries where serving Christ can net you the death penalty, of course, this is not the case. But more importantly, we don't necessarily claim that we "know how to live life better than other religious peoples". That's not really the point of Christianity at ALL!!! The TRUE point of Christianity is TRANSFORMATION. It is the supernatural work of The Holy Spirit in a person's life which transforms them into a New Creation far beyond any "knowledge" of how to live a better life than they might have. This is what we call being "Born Again", and it is what happens when someone asks Christ to come into their heart and surrenders their life to Him. I dare say most of the people to whom you refer have not had this experience; or if they have had it, they have allowed their love for God to grow cold and have drifted away from His Presence. Do note, however, that saying to someone, "Without Christ, you cannot enter Heaven," is not HATE. If we HATED you, we wouldn't bother to warn you and offer you the Way to Salvation. We share Christ with you so that you can have that same transformative experience. We certainly don't gain anything from it. If we didn't love you, we'd just let you take yourself right on to hell. But that isn't Christ's way. Nor will it be ours.

Being fascinated by the occult does not mean that you're a satanist. Perhaps you are just looking for balance and you are beginning to grow curious about those things that most churches do not talk about. If you still have that deep belief in God and Jesus don't let go of it, but if you need answers don't be afraid to go searching outside of the church either.

No, you're not a Satanist. A bit to prone to fantasy maybe. Possibly in need of a constructive direction to take your ample imagination in, but not a Satanist. I am concerned that you may be dwelling on things like demons and possesion too much, and maybe should seek some counseling....

True Satanists see Satan as a real being, the Creator God of humanity...and no, they're not christian. Jehova and the Nazarene are enemies in their eyes.

You're not a satanist just because you like these things. lol

Well if you still believe in Jesus and call on him and pray to him and worship him then no you are not becoming a Satanist. It sounds more as if you have an infatuation with Satanism and demonology. Who knows it might come and go.

Seek professional help my child. Jesus does not save you from demon opressions, the thought of Jesus saves you from the thought of demon opressions.

No you're not a satanist...I'm Roman Catholic and those things interest me too.- It's important to know thy enemy! But what in the devil are 'demon opressions'?

we normal people call that imagination not becoming a satanist

hey if you like creating characters and story's why don't you write a book with exorcism turn it in a job and don't worry about the church you'll find a new one

What goes in comes out. Put your mind on things of God and not the devil.

I do not feel that you are a satanist, but I do believe that you are being oppressed by the Enemy and his demonic forces and being attacked to make you think that way.

Please find other Christians and pray with them to rebuke the oppression, to cast away from you the demonic forces, and to ask that you be fully armored in Christ.

The Enemy would want you to believe that it is all in your mind, that you are doing all of this, but spiritual warfare is real and as Christians we must fight in the authority given to us by Christ Jesus.

no you are not a satanist....

and you know just because you arent a christan doesnt mean you cant believe in god and jesus....

but from what i am reading from you.. you are not following the rules of your religion.. and thats okay...

i personally think the only thing that matters is if you have faith.. not what religion you belong to.

I dont think it makes you a satenist but you should probably read your bible and go to church again you might need some deliverance

There are a few worrisome things that you said there. You probably ought to talk this over with a doctor.

you just need to realise that satan cause all the hardship, all the pain, all the oppression, all the suffering, all the lies, all the torture you feel and everyone on this world feel, maybe that will change your fascination on satan and his demons

You need to find a good church. You are distancing yourself from God and you need to let him back in your life. God bless you.

Satan is trying to pull you away from Christ, so he can drag you to hell with him. Do not let him, confess your sins to the Lord Jesus, start reading your Bible again, and start going to a Bible believing, Christ preaching church. Satan hates you and only want the worse for you. Pray to God through Jesus Christ to free you from Satan's grasp. I will be praying for you and rebuking Satan in Jesus name. God bless.

you are okay but i do recommend yuo stop doing that for oyur safety b/c demons are not little things with horns on their heads. they are angels that fell and let me tell you firsthand they know how to get you if they want you. it is okay to like that kind of stuff but just slow down in getting involved in it and try redaing your bible more often

Satanists are lazy -- they have to steal deities from Christianity.

find a pastor you can talk to... you don't have to go the church to talk to the pastor... at least not if its a good pastor and a good church...
