In one lifetime...is it possible for anyone to know the all and the everything about all things and everyone?

All of the past, the present and the future? Every possible scenario or mystery that there is to know?

No, because that would imply a complete knowledge of the workings of the same mind that contains the complete knowledge of the universe. By Godel's incompleteness theorem, such knowledge is impossible.

To answer what I think is the intent of your question, we could create a model of the universe that matches all observations, and we could not know if there was something more.

No.

Nobody would even want to. There are many bad things we humans are best not knowing. If we knew everything that would be everything about every person and animal, all things that happened in history, what's on all planets, etc.

Every person follows a different path of knowledge. If someone could acquire all knowledge there would be no point in anyone else trying to learn. There would be no point in living because there would be no surprises, nothing new to learn, nothing to look forward too...and the inevitable bad things lurking around the corner cannot be avoided no matter how clever you are.

It is not possible simply because God is the knowledge you are talking about. God is not an invisible person, God is the knowledge of the universe and that is something not open to the human mind.

Wow....it incredibly is a mouth complete and a techniques complete. I too am a Pantheist Pagan or perhaps nonetheless my ideals selection from yours (slightly) i'm able to work out the factor you attempt to make. there'll consistently be people who say we worship the created and not the writer yet while the universe replaced into certainly created by potential of the hand (or techniques) of the Divine then it too holds divinity and the appreciation and acknowledgment of that's what Pantheism is (to me). that may no longer worship. it incredibly is elementary reverence. I revere the universe, I appreciate it and understand that i will by no potential understand or be attentive to each little thing. We study, we develop and we evolve. it is the character of human beings (as is my be attentive to-how human beings). What we do with the understanding we benefit isn't consistently friendly and is not any longer consistently interior lifelike comprehension. All we can fairly do is study from our blunders and do our terrific to no longer repeat the previous. it is my Pantheist reaction. i did no longer intend to leave a protracted one yet i'm wakeful and relatively caffeinated this morning so there ya pass....

One can know everything about the past and present. But the future is only probability. Free Will controls the future.

And funny you say mystery, cause for those who "know" certain things already, it is then not a mystery anymore. Atlantis, Bermuda Triangle etc...

A wise man once told me that space is knowledge.

I believe that if you can master your mind and control all the distractions of your brain all you will be left with is space. The fabric of everything.

So I would say yes. But I have not met anyone who has done it yet.

maybe...but not enough time here in the flesh to be aware of it or express it.

Bare with me while I use some terminology that quickly sums it up....I could also sub in...collective unconscious, cosmic unfolding....or what ever......

one of the gifts of the holy Spirit is Knowledge...this gift bestows divine insight into anything relevant to God's purpose at the given time...this to me says the most abstract humanly unattainable info could be known to a person at any time they call on God for understanding.....

No I don't think so, I think human minds are part of the collective conscious, thus the knowledge is spread between all human's minds.

If our mind is like a hologram, then yes it could contain every piece of the whole within it.

That's a trick question, Bluebootz.

No, one human mind cannot contain it all. BUT it can all flow THROUGH one human mind when that mind is 'dropped'.

At least, that's my understanding.

Everything at it's center is Buddha or God, so one can know the *essence* of all that is for not only everyone but everything is it. Buddha or God transcends time.

I believe we do but not in our concious minds. We are here to experience what our deepest levels of conciousness already know so our souls can advance.
