What sort of things to jews wear in daily life and when they are going to pray at the synagogue? Does the Torah have any laws on what they may wear?

Most Jews wear normal clothes, just like everyone else.
Orthodox Jews wear more modest clothing. Orthodox women usually wear skirts, and shirt that have sleeves and don't show any cleavage.
Many Hassidic sects have their own (very modest) dress code, based on the fashions of the Eastern European village they originated from.
Jewish men wear Kippot/Yarmulkes/Skull-caps. Married Orthodox women cover their hair.
Men wear a Tallit/Prayer shawl in synagogue.

The Torah writes that men shouldn't wear womens' clothing, and vice versa. Men are also not allowed to shave off their sideburns.

In daily life, Jews wear different things according to how religious we are. So Reform or Conservative Jews, will wear the same types of clothes as non Jews.
Orthodox Jewish women will dress far more 'modestly' - they will cover their heads, either with a scarf or a 'sheitl' (wig). They will wear long skirts and keep their arms covered. Jewish men who are religious will wear a kippur on their heads and very religious Jewish men will often wear dark suits, and sometimes black hats if they are extremely devout.
In Synagogue: men wear kippurs and married women will cover their heads too, usually with hats. Men wear suits. Women will wear long skirts or skirts that reach to the knee. We can wear any colour we like, so long as our arms and shoulders are covered, and we don't have bare legs. Again, the idea is to dress 'modestly'.
The Torah covers general laws and the Talmud then expands on these basic rules.

Hope that helps :)

You have gotten good answers from Paperback and Steven (and *bad* answers from everyone else!), but nobody so far has mentioned sha-atnez, or shatnez.
This is the Biblical injunction (Leviticus 19:19 and Deuteronomy 22:5, 22:9-110 which prohibit the mixing of linen and wool fibers in our clothing.
Even when we dress in "normal" clothes for everyday, most practicing Jews read the fiber label to verify that we aren't violating this law. For the very orthodox, modern day shatnez experts employ the use of microscopes to determine textile content.

There are all sorts of variations in what they wear, depending on how strict they are, ranging from normal street wear to the traditional wear of Haredi or Hasidic Jews. They cover their heads in synagogue, usually with a skullcap (kippah), and some men also wear prayer shawls and/or tefillin (little boxes containing parchments with certain verses of the Torah, which are worn on the forehead and the arm). Women can cover their heads with a kippah, a lace shawl, hat, etc. in synagogue. Many men and women wear some kind of head covering at all times except when bathing. Haredi and Hasidic men usually wear a hat over a black velvet kippah.

i learned alot by actually visiting a Synagouge. id advise you to visit one on any day (in the afternoon around 2 or 3 actually) i found out it depends on how traditional they are there.there are many different ways Jewish people worship, one of the different ways is whats known as Hasidic, which if im not mistaken is a more traditional "denomination" another is the Quaballah which is more of a mystical/majikal "denomination"(thou i would tread carefully when asing them about it in a Synagouge because some know more about it than others . in other words its not something every Rabbi or Jewish parishinor will know about.

Usually, which too long for me. I consider it depends on the guy and also his face though. Certain guys may pull off long hair and others can't.

I'm more of a skirt and dress type of woman. I prefer dresses that are about knee-length though

So you think all Jewish people dress in the same kinds of things in their daily lives? Really?? That turns out not to be the case.
