Question:
Has anyone seen or experienced God?

We read convincing testimonials about such experiences. Anyone has any testimonials here? Please share whether its your personal experience or from someone credible you know. For such experience, did the person really meet God, or angels, or spiritual beings (souls) from after-life world (a.k.a. spiritual world)? Thanks.

The Bible says this in John 1:17 "No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only, who is at the Father's side, has made him known."

So, anyone who says that they have seen God are liars. The only thing they saw is the devil who came to them as an angel of light.

God will never call anyone with sin His child, but only the righteous, the sinless who believe in Him correctly.

John 3:3-5 means, "If someone wants to be born again, they should be born of water and the Spirit. Here water means the baptism of Jesus, which does away with all the sins of the world once and for all. The Spirit means that Jesus who received baptism from John the Baptist is God Himself.”

Jesus said if you have seen me then you have seen the Father. Christian 's that follow The true Christian life will resemble God also so you will see Him in them to. God is so holy and awesome that if you see Him in spirit and Holy form you would disintegrate. His holiness would take your breath away. I have experience the Mercy seat which is God and it almost took my breath away. I could hardly talk to anyone it was so awesome I can still see that picture in my mind and am still in awe! You would have to experience the awesomeness of God to know what I'm talking about. Exodus 34: 28-35 talks about how Moses face glowed after visiting God.

Yes. I have. Only once and it was in 1996.

I was at home on a Thursday evening, sitting in at my desk preparing a lesson. From somewhere close behind me, I heard my name called. A gentle but firm call. I turned around, but no one was there.

There was no one else in my house.

About 20 seconds later, again I heard my name. It was not really a voice. It was rather a clear thought, a thought not my own. planted directly into my brain. Whatever telepathy would be like, I just experience it.

This time I said, "Yes. Here I am."

And then I heard, "<>, Stan V. will come to you next week and ask questions about me. Be prepared."

That was it. The whole thing. That was the first time I heard from God. That was the last time I heard from God.

Stan V was a colleague of my mine from work. I knew Stan but I had never talked to Stan. We were professional colleagues, but no more than that.

Like I said, I heard the voice on a Thursday night. The following week I went back to work. On Monday at 10 AM, Stan called me on the phone. Stan said, "I have questions to ask you. Can I take you out to lunch?"

We went to lunch at O'Charley's.

Stan asked me about Jesus. And that is how I know that that voice was from God; who is Jesus.

Stan got saved a few months later.

I also know another story. This one is not my own. I knew the chaplain under General Patton during WWII. He was a friend of mine back in 1988. Col. Segars told me his story. I'll never forget it.

I have only experienced God through very accurate personal prophecies.

Moses was probably the person to see and experience God more vividly and up-close than any other person.

i know a couple people who have seriously flat lined before. they weren't christians and they described it as endless falling, it was so dark, there were lakes of fire, there were demons trying to get them, and they tried to get away or scream but they couldnt make a sound and they couldnt stop falling. after that insane experience, they talked to people about this who led them to a pastor. the pastor showed them the Bible verse about describing hell as a lake of fire. those people that flat lined became Christians and have been spreading His word ever since. God can do great things, we just have to open our eyes.

John 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the truth, the way, and the life. No one comes through the Father except through me."

Yes..I know when I've had a bad experience before I have prayed and felt an overwhelming since of calm..Also this is kind of stupid but one time I had a horrible headache and I was mad and said "God if you are real then take my headache away" and no kidding in that instance my headache was gone.

No it's not possible. From the Bible

(Exodus 33:20) And he added: “You are not able to see my face, because no man may see me and yet live.”
