5 year bible student-Jehovah witness not interested anymore?

So Ive been studying for a while now, since I was small. I began my studies with great interest and a strong desire to become baptized. But lately I've been dreading meetings, bore myself to death in them and for the watchtower study, I cam not wait until we finish. I want to be interested, I am jealous of those who have a desire. But I lost the desire along time ago and sm not touched by the holy spirit anymore. I believe I am a waste of tome. I'd love to keep on studying, but I don't wanna waste time and my desire has unfortuanetly faded away. How do I tell my parents? My bible tEacher?? I am so scared to tell them and I cry int room and have suffered depression episodes because I cannot keep fooling everyone like this. Help?? Btw I'm not a publisher or suscribed yo the school.

This is something you need to discuss with your parents not here to just be fed slander which will do nothing to help your case. As you can see the answers that are anti-JW are just hostile and inconsiderate; not helpful or understanding to how you are feeling inside and going through. Yet they want you to think they are the Christians by their thoughtlessness.



Aside from them, you know it happens. It happens often. I had experienced the same before I was baptised but to keep a fire going you have to add fuel to it and then you feel the warmth from it.

Maybe the study at home is uninteresting. Maybe you need new ways of doing things. Oh yes, this is not something that is incurable and you can regain the fire you may of once had.

Discuss this with your mom and dad, that is the start you can make. You will get not helpful answers from here just acid replies with those that have a vendetta. You will get real help from your mom and dad and your Bible conductor so I suggest you be open and talk to them about this.

Because of the depression, I suggest that you talk to an adult soon. Just ease into it. That you have many questions and doubts. And want the answers. But that you feel that you aren't in a place in your faith journey that you should be at this time. But remember, you are still young. Some people aren't in that faith journey until their 70s.

You need the Holy Spirit.Repent of your sins, like living a lie right now and whatever else the Lord may reveal to you.Accept His forgiveness and walk in the Spirit.When you have the Holy Spirit,you can't help but love His Word and to study His Truth's. Idk a whole lot about the Jehovah's witness faith but I think God is dealing with your heart because you do have a desire ti truly know him. Try going to a church that is holy ghost filled and with a pastor that teaches about the crucifixion and ressurection of Jesus Christ and that claim Him as Lord and Savior. From what I know about Jehovah's Witness, they pick and choose from the Bible and distort a lot of the other things it says. Maybe that's why your feel the way you do, because you know something isnt right. Good luck and I will pray for you.

Thank the Lord that you are uninterested! That is the Holy Spirit trying to show you the RIGHT path. Go to a Christian church and get involved and learn what the REAL bible says. Some of these cults out there are very convincing and those that teach those doctrines are to be pitied as they will pay a great price for leading folks astray. I was baptized for many years and got myself out (thank God) a little over three years ago. I have no desire or any guilt about going back. I have absolutely no regrets about not going back to the hypocritical organization because they do not practice what they preach. It was not about my being bored, that was not the case, but the lack in action by the elders and society when truly heinous and seriously criminal acts were taking place and they would say "Jehovah will take care of all", when they, the elders, were to step in. They give this song and dance about "the Role of Elders" in the publications, etc., but when it comes time to taking action, they don't do much. A group of elders was lined up late 2009 and shot by a man who had enough of them; one elder died. That happened in Eugene, Oregon, and that man was recently sentenced, however, that is not the way to get revenge upon the elders for failing to do what is required of them; the way to do it is to expose them to the media and file a lawsuit against them and the other hypocritical criminals in their organization, including dingbats within the congregation.



The religion is man made and not from God and they have changed the scriptures many times citing untruthfully that they are correcting the scriptures hence other false religious men changed them. The witlessness changed them -- themselves in violation of God's laws.
