No. Hell does not exist.

I believe in God, pray everyday, and study.

Punishment is never a deterant, why would threats of a non existant place be any different.

Furthermore, believing in Jesus is not your access to heaven, if the streets of gold heaven was real either. Interpreted correctly, following the path of Jesus and living a God centered existance, doing good, and working on spirituAL growth is the only path to actual salvation while living your lives.

I'd argue that some atheists are better people, do more charity work, help others and judge less people than some Sunday morning Christians. Christianity was not meant to be a blind acceptance of one man's divinity, quoting Jesus "you all can be children of God", just like he was the son of God.

Read more books than just a single source and you learn what things really mean, (or at least you get a better approximation of the meaning of an allegory or a "philosophy" or a concept.

Hmmm, if you want to help people make it into heaven, easy solution stop reminding people they are going to hell. Remind them of the goodness of what your god can do. Remind them about his forgiveness and healing power. Also try living right, let your lifestyle do the talking. And more important, come out of hiding. You can't help anyone if you sitting here anonymously. You and your God need to drop the anonymous mask and maybe there would be no atheists. Lets try that first. You and your God stop with the anonymous blue troll game and then i will no longer be agnostic.

Now once more, for all the delusional but hurt 😭 self righteous arrogant judgemental religious nutcases, thumb it down or comment to show your love and how buthurt you get when the truth is told. 😜

To an Atheist, that's like reminding them to be good because otherwise Santa will bring them Coal.

They don't believe, threatening them with what they consider fiction is a non-threat.

A best first question is simply "Do you truly believe nothing created the order of this world?" Sometimes the answer is no... and they believe in something... just not what you would call God. From their, explore it's limits and question. If you question enough you end up with an absolute God, that is a good starting point.

For example, I once met a person who believed in 'energy'... but energy is finite, it has limits, and it naturally tends towards a state where it can do... nothing... if God were so limited as to be energy, he would eventually become infirm and incapable by the very nature of the universe and heat entropy. A God made of energy is too limited.

Quoth Einstein: "God does not play dice with the universe."

Learn, listen, question, and believe.

Atheists should be reminded they are going to hell as much as you should be reminded you're going to:

helheim, the fields of punishment in hades, the astral realm, fall off chinvat bridge, or will be reincarnated.

If you think you're going to make someone convert by "reminding" them about hell, you're dead wrong.

If you not trying to convert them, then reminding them is just being a douche bag.

Mind your own business about other peoples' afterlives unless someone asks you.

Yep, and also some of the religious group that are not tuned to help their brother's and sister's that are left behind and have some difficulty to survive in this tiny world, they are bound to hell.

some will tell you story that will touch your heart and wonder; like this:

First of all God did not create a hellfire. Humans did. Hellfire is a false doctrine. What would burn in hell? And would not God have told Adam and Eve about hellfire since they would have been the first ones to go there. You don't have a soul. You are a soul. Gen. 2:7 states that God breathed the breath of life into Adam and he came to be a living soul. He was not given a soul but became a soul. Gen. 3:19 states that from dust you are and to dust you will return. How can you burn dust? Ez. 18:4 says that all souls die. So souls are not immortal. Ec. 9:5,6 says when you die you know nothing, can do nothing and have no memory. How would you know you were burning?

The Bible says not all people will be believers and that is why God gave everyone free will. Don't try to change people to accept God. Only God can do that. Leave them alone.

Since the word 'hell' is the english translation of the Hebrew word 'sheol' and the Greek word 'hades' it could be said that everyone alive today is going to 'hell' at some point until God's Kingdom intervenes and puts an end to death. (Revelation 21:4 "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.)

Here is the thing bud. Who are you to question their beliefs and inform them that they will go to hell. Maybe your beliefs are wrong. Outside of Christianity many religions do not believe in Hell. To tell atheists that they are going to hell would be to ignore the purpose of religion, all the good atheists who will probably do more good in their lives than you, ignore all the religions and people who do not believe in a place like Hell, and to impose your religious beliefs on everybody.

Omg, it's "Christians" like you who give other Christians a bad name. If there really is a God, he would realise that it is hard for people to believe in something that has very little proof of existence. I am a decent, honest person. I was brought up as a Christian, I follow Christian traditions and even attend church sometimes, however I am very sceptical about Gods existence as there is very little proof that he does actually exist but I know that if there is such thing as heaven and hell, I will definitely be going to heaven because I'm a good person.
?

Don't waste your time, hell is a logical impossibility:

1. To get to heaven you must love, forgive and treat as equal everyone else (God and Jesus' rules).

2. God/Jesus promised you a sin free paradise without suffering after death for eternity.

3. So, following god/Jesus' teaching to get to heaven, when you arrive you will be eternally miserable (suffering) because you love, forgive and treat as equal everyone suffering in Hell.

4. Many would have relatives and loved ones in hell and would be even more miserable about them suffering in hell.

So, the mind numbingly obvious: If hell exists heaven can't. Bring one person from hell, you have to bring them all.

Unless gods going to break it's own promise and turn you into a zombie.

So, what do you prefer: god lied about heaven, god lied about hell, god is going to turn you into a zombie in heaven? You choose. I don't care any way.

(Bit unfortunate the goat herders didn't apply any logic to their stories, hell would have been a great threat if it could actually work.)

Consider also this absurdity:

Theists claim Hell is evil so it is run by Satan. Why would Satan want to punish those who follow his philosophies to help god?

Not anymore than anyone else.

Seriously, why the provoking of atheists? And just atheists at that? Would you like it if someone talked about your belief in a flame-question?

They can be reminded they can go to heaven and be with God, but you'd need apologetic work with you to convince them, more so the ones on here.

No one but God can make that Judgment ...

4:2 What is expected of stewards is that each one should be found worthy of his trust.

4:3 Not that it makes the slightest difference to me whether you, or indeed any human tribunal, find me worthy or not. I will not even pass judgement on myself.

4:4 True, my conscience does not reproach me at all, but that does not prove that I am acquitted: the Lord alone is my judge.

4:5 There must be no passing of premature judgement. Leave that until the Lord comes; he will light up all that is hidden in the dark and reveal the secret intentions of men's hearts. Then will be the time for each one to have whatever praise he deserves, from God.

Atheists are those who have not yet discovered the love of God.

Everyone is at a different level of spiritual development. Hell is a state of mind and soul more-so than a place. It is the state of hating God, of blaming him and not praying but cursing him. It is arrogance, pride and self-pity.

God is self-giving love. If you live your life serving love you live your life serving God, whether you know him or not. If you live a live of self-centered arrogance and hatred, no church will save you.

Remember the parable of the talents. According to God's judgement, more is expected from those to whom more is given. If you are raised in faith, more is expected of you.

The worst thing you can tell an atheist is that he will go to hell. Professing love of someone who will torture you unimaginably if you don't is in no way love and in no way faith.

The best thing you can do is to be a living example of your faith and love an atheist unconditionally without judging him or her. Hell is a possibility. If you choose to live without God in this life, God will honor your choice in the next, but it is never our place to judge.

Yes, and if we can, we are to snatch them from the fires of hell. They are sinners in the hands of an angry God and all that keeps them from the fires of hell is God's mercy. God hates sin because it is rebellion against Him. Why would God want someone in His heaven that continually disobeys and rebels against Him?

God as Jesus the Christ will judge all of mankind and we will be judged by the Holy Bible. All atheists should be reminded that they have only one hope of eternal life and that is Christ Jesus. Without Christ, they have no hope and hell fire is their destiny.

What kind of Hell are we talking about?

The cold freezing one from the Nordic religions. Or the hot burning ones from Dante, did you know that the burning hell was a later invention.

Indeed the early writings point to sheol, the grave, everybody goes to the grave. Believer or not you end up in the grave!

The whole reason hell "exists" Is to scare people into following the "Good" Shepard. But if you have to be scared into listening something is horrible wrong.

My point, if you require a hell to be a good person, you are not a good person.

If you actually believe in a hell, I think you'd be extremely remiss in not warning people about it. I don't believe in an afterlife myself, but if you actually do and don't warn people about the dire things awaiting them on the other side I'd say you'd be guilty of dereliction of duty from a Christian perspective.

I think you need to look at a dictionary.

We atheist do not believe that hell exists. Really. We also don't believe that god or heaven exists.

We have thought about all that stuff and have concluded that it's all a bunch of superstitious nonsense.

All you have to do if you want us to have second thoughts is provide some evidence - any sort of proof - that god, heaven and hell are real. But as no-one has ever managed to do that, in about 2,000 years, I don't think you're going to be able to.

Many present atheists will become God's people ~ Not by your hateful

and obnoxious ideas, but by the grace of God initiating faith by the true

inward process of change in those who are His predetermined elect.

Don't try to include the loving people of God in that "we" you belong to.

Your bigoted, hateful approach is not the way Jesus taught, and shows

that you have little understanding of the process of conversion by grace.

Without a change of heart you may find yourself left here among atheists

Ever since the Jesus crucifixion and resurrection, we are all saved. And when we notice there are a few of us missing, they have been purified and reborn in the blood of the Lamb. They are given to the Earth as it translates the revelation of man to God. Fair enough? There is also a principle in Hinduism called the Atman. It exists in the pleroma, the chaos, and it consists of all souls, everyone. We travel to the Atman and enter as reborn
2016-10-20 17:28:59 UTC
No, they already know you have judged them then when you are not supposed to judge anyone. All you are doing is re-enforcing the false notion that Christians do not love God; they are just terrified of Hell.

That was never Christ's teaching. He told us that God loves us and wants us to know His love and His faithfulness. You want to use His Word to beat people over the head with your Bible and to try to scare them into faith.

If you want to follow Christ, stop condemning people. You will do better by living a Christian life than you will by chasing people that you have decided are not living as you would like to force them to live.

Hell is a place of torment where all unbelievers & evil doers go after death, until the day of judgement.

Those who accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior and repented of their sins, will go to Paradise after death, to rest until the day of resurrection. It's those who got washed in the blood of Jesus, and kept their spiritual garments clean and carry the Testimony of Jesus Christ in their heart, are the ones who will enter Paradise after death.

Christ knows who are truly his and cannot be fooled. He is going to divide those whose names are NOT found in the Book of Life, and thrown into the lake of fire with satan, death and his kind. But those whose names are found written in the Book of Life will enter Eternal life.

That's the truth. I must warn you that there is a hell & lake of fire and I will be held responsible by God if I lie and say, there is no hell and you end up there.

I just dont want anyone to go to hell.

Jesus illustrates to us all what hell is really like.

Mark 9

43..... ,to go to hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched

44 where 'Their worm does not die, And the fire is not quenched."

Luke 16

23 And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

24 “Then he cried and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.’

Lake of Fire

Revelation 21

8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars--they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."

That is a bad way to lead people to Christ. If you said, "Be in our club because otherwise you'll die," that isn't a good way to get people to join your club. You should say instead, "Join our club because it is fun and you will learn lots of new things, and meet lots of new people." they will feel more inclined to join.

Not only will they not believe you if you tell them that they will die if you don't join their club, it might make them want to join even less.

Instead, tell them about the club. Tell them the good things about it, prove the them why they SHOULD join instead of proving what will happen if they DON'T.

I completely respect all religion but o do not respect people who go around telling us that we are going to hell. The logical explanation for life is not a floaty man in the sky who holds the worlds and a son who was born to a virgin. Have you ever seen a floaty man in the sky? Have you ever thought that Mary just told every one that he was gods son so she wasn't killed for having a kid before getting married? I hate is when religious people go round shoving their religion up you nose. People have the right to have their religion but it is best to not go around saying: your going to hell! Until we show them the Mercy of Jesus they will continue on

All people are going to hell, including atheists if they refuse to repent and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

As Christians we are told to go out into the world and spread the good news of the gospel and to teach all peoples and nations about Christ. And yes talking about hell is part of God's warning to everyone.
2016-10-20 05:00:12 UTC
Hell is a temporary event of destruction and then the damned just is no more

Hell was originally the Jerusalem city dump and criminals were sent there to do recycling. Later on the church jazzed it up.

Have you considered the ultimate terror, Big Brave Blue Face?

That maybe the Christian god is real, is a god of love, and not the vicious vindictive turd of your projected personality?

Spend your time more productively, prove the existence of hell, then the implications will be obvious
2016-10-20 23:03:57 UTC
Correct. Atheistards sure spend a lot of time complaining about a place they claim doesn't exist.

The theist's projection of fear is rampant.... But is doesn't scare atheists.

A man stood on a bridge about to jump to his death, another man ran up to stop him,

"Don't do it!"

"Nobody loves me."

"God loves you. Do you believe in God?"

"Yes."

"Are you a Christian or a Jew?"

"A Christian."

"Me, too! Protestant or Catholic?"

"Protestant."

"Me, too! What denomination?"

"Baptist."

"Me, too! Northern Baptist or Southern Baptist?"

"Northern Baptist."

"Me, too! Northern Conservative Baptist or Northern Liberal Baptist?"

"Northern Conservative Baptist."

"Me, too! Northern Conservative Baptist Great Lakes Region, or Northern Conservative Baptist Eastern Region?"

"Northern Conservative Baptist Great Lakes Region."

"Me, too! Northern Conservative Baptist Great Lakes Region Council of 1879, or Northern Conservative Baptist Great Lakes Region Council of 1912?"

"Northern Conservative Baptist Great Lakes Region Council of 1912."

"Die, heretic!" And he pushed the other man over the ledge.

I think this joke says it all.
