Question:
If it is God's will that everyone goes to heaven...?

Then why didn't he create a system so that everyone WILL go to heaven. I'm not talking about having the opportunity. I just mean if it's his will that everyone goes, then everyone should go. We are all equally undeserving right?

Then we would not have agency. We get to choose our own destiny. If the desire of our hearts is to reject salvation, then that is our option.

According to 2 Peter 3:9, it is God's * wish *, not His * will *. The Creator of this universe allows us to freely reject Him

If He willed us all into heaven, we wouldn't have free will, correct? We'd be mindless automatons.

And for the record, surely you've seen enough stuff on R&S showing that He already created a system that will allow everyone into heaven. It's the death of Christ on the cross. It's free and available now.

You said you weren't talking about opportunity, but how do you separate free will from the opportunity to accept or reject God?

Just for a second, let's take Christ out of the picture. There are plenty of people out here who reject the merest thought of God, let alone his plan for salvation.

These people had (still have) the opportunity and chose (and continue to choose) to reject not only His gift, but God Himself.

It the thought of God makes these people uncomfortable, then they certainly wouldn't want to spend eternity with Him, right? God gives them the power to make that choice.

Yes all equally undeserving. But if you continue to just ignore those signs God sends you then why should He just let you have a free pass. God doesn't send us to Heaven or Hell. We send ourselves. We choose what we follow. And He did create a system. That system is Jesus. Cause without Him, no one would get to Heaven. We choose Jesus, we live for Jesus, and we confess with our mouths and believe in our hearts that Jesus is Lord and we will be saved. People don't consider Christianity cause they think we don't think for ourselves. But we know the power of God and we want you to be safe and know you are loved.

God placed the first humans on earth and if they would have remained faithful they, and all children from them would all remain forever. Gen 1:28;2:15,17.

Some going to heaven only became a need when they disobeyed. Those chosen to heavenly life will be rulers in God's Kingdom (government) and that Kingdom will restore the peaceful conditions that existed before Adam and Eve sinned. Rev 5:9,10.

The earth will be a place for many, many appreciative people. Ps 37:11,29.Acts 24:15.Isa 33:24.

the answer to your question is that it is NOT God's will that everyone go to heaven. God created humans to live on the earth, and to live forever. death only came into the picture when adam and eve ate of the forbidden fruit and then passed on imperfection to their offspring. however, because of jesus ransom sacrifice, those who server God have the opportunity to be resurrected to life in a perfect paradise world in the future, after God has destroyed the wicked.

Maybe he did create a system like that, and a bunch of humans decided later that they could control people better if they had something to be afraid of.

Holy cow!!!!!!!!!! I know this one.

In the beggining, before the earth, we all lived in heave. Then God, our father in heaven, decided that he wanted a plan to send us, his spirit children, to earth to gain experience. Satan and Jesus both brought a plan to God. Jesus's plan was to give us all free agency so that we would actually gain experience. Satan's plan was to send us to earth and force us to obey. But that wasn't a good plan. We wouldn't get any experience, we'd just be like good doing zombies. Not fun. So god chose Jesus's plan. We went to earth and lost all memory of heaven. If we believe in god, we will go back to heaven.

Perhaps "heaven" isn't His goal after all. Perhaps we are here to work with God to complete His creation. Perhaps the creation story is still in progress....

God told us how to go to Heaven but it's up to us to do what he said. It's not automatic.

1st off you also have to remember that God wants you to willingly serve Him or in other words He gives YOU a free will. either you will or you wont. straight up.
