Can you even say God is real without any proof?

I see people making this assumption all the time. Their proof is the Bible, but the Bible is a false piece of literature. I know this because the moment you want me to believe in something as a whole, but say not all of it is true I'm out. It's just not good ethics. It's just saying " Hey if you want to be a Christian you need to believe this book, we've highlighted the points we think you should pay attention to and after you are considered a Christian you don't even need to practice. Just make sure if someone questions it you use our super secret method of proving people wrong. It's easy because it's a circle argument. Obviously God is on our side. Welcome aboard!"

What nonsense it is to listen to more primitive people than us as our ancestors were we are supposed to learn from their mistakes not spread them around. So Christians why do you feel compelled to preach the Bible, but you are not willing to learn the depths of Physics? Perhaps you are too inept to learn more than "the space wizard did it" We may be far from knowing the answer to the Universe, but we have the world as our proof. You guys have a book and the science that you want to believe or not. Why don't more Christians learn Physics?

While some stories aren't really verifiable, that doesn't mean it's false! Religion and science are not mutually exclusive of each other. Science can help you appreciate the physical nature of the world; religion, the philosophical. It is unfair and ignorant to base your views of Christianity on those who practice it - as humans, we are all faulty. This does not mean that Christ's teachings are faulty, just that most of mankind does not know how to honor them.



It seems that your understanding of the Bible from the viewpoint of a Christian is limited. There is a lot in the Old Testament that doesn't apply to Christians because of Jesus' sacrifice on the cross where he fulfilled the laws of Moses. Christianity doesn't preach that "not all" of the Bible is true, because it is - whether a certain law or way of life applies after Jesus saved mankind doesn't mean that something isn't "true."



When you ignore Christianity's great contributions to the world and the God who inspired them, you only do yourself a disservice, not those you try to offend.

Many people have wrong teachings today. What wrong teachings attract people today? For example, in many places evolution is taught with the same strong feelings that people have for their religion. Even though science is usually used to explain and support evolution, it is as if evolution has almost become a religion but without God. It affects how people feel about God and how they feel about other people. Another popular teaching is that God is not interested in us, so we do not need to be interested in him. Why do millions of people listen to these teachings that prevent them from having a relationship with God? Both teachings make people believe that they can do anything they want because there is no one to answer to. This is a message that many want to hear and believe this making it their religion.

All schools of thought started out as schools of theology back in the middle ages. Guess who created science, that's right, the roman catholic monks of the middle ages did. Science is accepted by Christians, as a healthy study of God's Creation. In the end, science will come to the same conclusion as God's Word, as they are both a study of God's Word. And if you want proof, accept God into your heart and give Him a chance. Go to a good, non-hypocritical, God fearing church, where His Spirit is moving, and watch what happens. Make it a science experiment. Just remember, like any good scientist, to not let your presuppositions come before your hypothesis. God is science, and that is the Christian standpoint.

For the record, there are people who believe on science AND the bible...and yes there are tons of "christians" who say "oh if u do that sin, u go to hell" then do it themselves but newsflash, we all have sinned and will continue to do so. We're human. Evolution is real and here's an example,

God incarnated (took on human body) to die for our sins so that we can go to heaven. now why was this necessary? well, remember the 10 billion seats from before? yep, they're all empty because everyone went to hell. there were only 2 people that went to heaven (enoch and elijah). so, God didn't want all people to burn in hell, so He provided a cure for this - He died on the cross for our sins and went to hell to pick "believers in Him during their lives on earth" to take them to heaven. now most people go to hell too, but christians don't. why? because God said that if you believe in what He did for you on the cross, and feel sorry for your sins, and stop sinning, you'll go to heaven.
