Christians, why do you choose to believe lies? is it because your weak minded?

You have to invent afterlife, invent a higher power called god which loves you, watches over you and gives your life purpose. <- the tendency to believe in a god probably came about through evolution. But I want to know what your justification is for believing lies?

Religion is simply an explanation. Science is a more proven and solid explanation. Religion is a lot easier to believe. It makes a lot more sense to people that someone created us. Its also reassuring. I don't judge Christians, and I can completely understand why they believe in things atheists perceive as "lies". Its a giant circle jerk, Christians think atheists are stupid, Athiests think Christians are stupid. I do agree with you that there is more proof regarding the ways of the atheist. I really wish that I was able to believe that there was an after life, because it seems so much nicer to be able to go to heaven.

1. People start out as Christians, because they were raised in Christian homes, and had no choice but to follow their parents' faith.



2. Four out of five of them get through their teen-aged years still believing what they picked up as small kids.



3. The other one out of five has the right combination of courage and thoughtfulness to figure out that the whole story of Christianity is an ancient fantasy.



Adult Christians aren't necessarily stupid. Most of them just can't deal with the truth about death...that it ends in oblivion. Yes, that means nothingness.

actually these things were "invented" LONG before me. It is the unbelief in an afterlife that is a far more recent invention. Why did you invent that? Do you think you are your own boss? Are you afraid to be accountable for your actions?

What you're saying is just your opinion about something which you have no true ability to disprove,only when you die will you truly know that we're telling you the truth.. but then it will be too late to take an step towards believing . Why does it hurt you so much that people believe in God ,you fight so hard against something which you say 'doesn't exist' and yet there's much evidence to many whom have placed their trust in Him to say that it is true(truth) God is real ,exists and we all will one day see him with our own eyes. We tell you what He's said to us in His word and has been revelaed to us by hgis spirit within our hearts, the truth can't be destroyed, why because even if you bury it deep within the earth.. one day someone will find( discover it) and begin to proclaim/ reveal it to others .



Truth liberates those whom have been in bondage ,giving them a chance to make an decision and opens up choices where there wasn't any. Truth can''t be destroyed because it''s what lies at the heart/root of things,it's what everything else is based upon well that will last,everything based upon an lie or error will one day fail,come crashing down be destroyed , or lead to destruction. Truth cannot be for if truth is ever destroyed or is able to be what will happen to the foundation or what can other things be founded upon you can't lay an foundation of deceit,error or an lie tat one day the truth won't be revealed,perhaps by accident (in our opinion) but God makes sure that it will always rise gain. Things must always come back to it because without it truth -what is true- there can be no solid thing to base other things upon-truth is solid and can be trusted anything other than what is true/truth can't be and always lead to error and in some to many cases destruction. you can't even drive home without it, truth will outlast us all o this earth.



God is true and all things came from Him and will come back /have to come back to Him. Science is said to be based upon it; facts lead to it which you say you gather. you say the facts lead to this and not to that but in the case of God..do you have all the facts that lead to what is really 'True' or because scientists are looking in the wrong place some of the facts are being overlooked or discounted because they seemingly don't add up -in your opinion or considerations? God allows your tech to lead you to the edge so that you can make an decision to step from what is possible in what natural things are rooted/founded can be experienced by those whom are willing to take the step forward into the unknown-what science can't explain nor touch because it goes from natural to the spiritual things which is of God and the part of which mankind himself is based. We talk about the human spirit being unbreakable as in times when we should have quit ..we didn't but pushed through and saw what was on the other side of the adversity. God invites us to go beyond our tech and become what we were intended to be in his original intentions and what he planned when he conceived us in thought ,made us by his hands and created us by his power. Truth always comes back to itself and we always come back to the question about God 'does he exist'..it has to and will be answered to satisfaction by every person one day for truth can't be hid 'forever'.
