I have left my Yahoo Group and I still keep on getting email from them and it is so annoying. So, I have a few questions
1. How do I make sure I am really out of the group?
2. How can I block them?

Its so annoying OMG! Oh and I'm putting this in the Religion section because nobody looks in the groups section and I'm sure I'll get more answers if wondering and plz be nice and just answer my question.

Thank you all who are polite and have nice day!

Just email whoever's in charge of the group and tell them that you want out. They'll probably help you, and make sure you don't get the emails. Or, they could be butts and say "Why'd you join in the first place?" or something like that...

Anyway, just mark their next email as spam. That way, it's at least in your spam folder, not clogging up your mailbox. Emails in the spam folder get deleted after a certain amount of time, anyway, so you won't have to worry about it.

You should be able to go into the Yahoo Group and change your setting so that you don't receive email from the group. You should also have a setting in your Yahoo email to block email from any particular person. If you are still getting email from the group (and not just individuals who might have your email address and belong to the group) then you are not out of the group.

When you mean leave, does that mean you deleted your membership?

If not, then log back into the group and peruse around until you find something like Email Options, there should be an option that tells the Group to stop sending groups emails to your regular email.

I had the same problem with the emails, I like being in the groups, but didn't like receiving group emails.

answer: If you've left the group - clicked on the button "Leave Group" you shouldn't be getting emails unless it's from the members themselves. Go back to the group and see if you're still a member. If you are, go into your Edit Membership and change your preferences to No Email. THEN go and click "Leave Group"

Try taking the emails off your approved senders list, it'll go into spam
