It takes money to run a church, they have expenses too, plus our church has sent numerous packages to our military, as well as gave away a semi load of food to the needy and widows in our area, plus help people in our church with medical expenses from cancer, the old saying goes your reap what you sow, so perhaps this is why our church is growing and by the way our church don't ask for money, it is given.

Jesus saves as in saves money. Wherever and whoever gave you that ideas. Of course, christian churches ask for money to defray their expenses for maintaining the church.

i'd like to point out 2 things:

1, speaking from my own beliefs: God saves... Jesus has no power excepts what God grants him. Jesus was a Messenger of God.

2: the churches are corrupt

First of all, don't call yourself God. That's just not right. Christian churches ask for money to pay the pastor, to get equipment, to give to charity, ect. They ask so that the money will further God's kingdom.

What the Roman Catholics have finished is enable yet another employer to be equivalent to the scriptures as a real authority. so they have all of it screwed up. Jesus advised us what needs to ensue. John 3 18 Whoever believes (pisteuo- to have faith in; to exhibit to) in him isn't condemned, yet whoever would not have self belief stands condemned already because of the fact they have not believed interior the call of God’s one and purely Son.

Its called tithing - read the Bible you give 10% of what God gives you to help build the kingdom of God. Our church just gave out 2000 backpacks filled with shoes and school supplies to inner city children who dont go to church just to let them know that God loves them and thats what tithes and offerings are all about. Its a good thing.

Cuz the pastor needs a new caddy...oh, and a new suit. Somebody's gotta pay for those luxuries...so why not Jesus? I guess I mean, "in the name of Jesus". What a waste of good money.....give it to a charity where it can help someone in actual NEED!
