1) At John 4:23 we are told that “true” worshippers will worship the “Father” in spirit and truth. What Christian faith worships the “Father”?
As far as I know
all Christians worship the Father.
I've never heard of a sect that did not
and
I've never met a Christian that does not.
2) When a person seeks truth they can not get their own beliefs ahead of what the Bible says!
Who told you so
and
why did you believe them?
3) Yet we find almost every Christian religion
There is
by definition
one and only one Christian religion.
Namely: Christianity.
See: what you wrote in 2).
4) Yet we find almost every Christian religion worshipping the trinity, the trinity did not originate in Jesus’ teaching
True.
It originated FROM Jesus' teachings.
5) (John 4:23 AS) But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth: for such doth the Father seek to be his worshippers.
OK. So - obviously - that includes Trinitarians.
6) At 1 Corinthians 11:3 we are told: But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man; and the head of Christ is God!
OK. That is wholly compatible with the doctrine of trinity.
At this point, I'm beginning to realize that you don't know what the doctrine of trinity teaches.
7) And what does John 14:28 say (AS) 28 Ye heard how I said to you, I go away, and I come unto you. If ye loved me, ye would have rejoiced, because I go unto the Father: for the Father is greater than!
Explained by the Bible itself
in terms that are entirely compatible with the doctrine of trinity
in the first two chapters of Hebrews
which chapters also teach that Jesus is not an angel, BTW.
8) Don’t you think that this is why Jesus said at Matt 6:9 that we are to make Hallowed his Father’s name?
(9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father who art un heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
He didn't say that in that passage or any other Bible passage.
PLEASE read more carefully.
You quoted the verse. Why didn't you bother reading it?
9) Historians, who have researched history will tell you this: Historian Will Durant observed:
Now - obviously - you are WAY over your head. Did you read that before posting it?
10) Historian Will Durant observed: “Christianity did not destroy paganism; it adopted it. From Egypt came the ideas of a divine trinity.”
Odd, since no such concept of a divine trinity
as far as historians are able to determine
existed in pre-Christian Egyptian culture.
I sincerely doubt the accuracy of that quote. I suspect that, as is often the case with Witness quotes, that it is a fraud, patched together from several passages.
But...maybe I'm wrong. Please post a scan of the page of the work in which that quote appears.
11) In the preface to Edward Gibbon’s History of Christianity, we read: “If Paganism was conquered by Christianity, it is equally true that Christianity was corrupted by Paganism.
Yes, that doesn't surprise me at all.
Note that man converted to Roman Catholicism from Protestantism
then to Protestantism from Roman Catholicism.
He also credited Christianity with causing the fall of the Roman Empire
an idea widely rejected by modern historians.
So: we know his historical ideas are prone to be faulty
and, given his religious inclinations
I'll bet there are lots of quotes from that fellow that you would be quick to condemn! Why, then, do you use this one?
Do YOU consider him a reliable source?
If so, why?
12) So why does Christian religions today
See 3)
13) only worship Jesus as their God?
In my life
I have attended many different religious services of several different Christian denominations.
I have never
ever
experienced
or heard
of any Christian
who did not worship the Father
or who only worshiped Jesus.
That last statement of yours
is an outright lie.
14) When both the Bible and findings of historians show it to be of pagan origin!
The Bible does not show that
(which of course is why you don't bother trying to show that the Bible does show that).
Conclusion: your education is not sufficient to the task that you have set yourself.
