Hear me well. The secret of salvation lies not in education, but in REALIZATION!

Without understanding to modify their influence over us, words, become hypnotic.

We spend our entire existence being programmed, and resisting programming, and struggling against the effect words have on us, not only on a psychological level, but on a physiological level as well.

Can this be true, and is this you own life's experience ?
You tell me?

What say you all ?

Your first statement is the basis foe the teaching of Present moment- "Being" here now. To know is the opposite of - "think" to know. Being Present, In the Presence, As the Presence is an experience beyond what is experienced through the coloring of the mind. You have found something very profound . Be Still and Know I AM God is a pointing to the Present Moment, free of interpretation, concept, conclusion or perception. I say "VERY GOOD GRASSHOPPER!!!!!

I would say that education equals realisation. If you wish to turn your back on education you may as well just pack up that computer you're using and send it back to the manufacturer and go sit in a darkened room for the rest of your life.

Doesn't sound like much fun does it?

It is a true statement, "The letter kills, the spirit gives life"

Adam & Eve ate of the tree of the knowledge of good & evil and died spiritually.

We need to come to God and seek him with all our heart and mind, THEN we will find him. Jeremiah 29:11-13

God will then give us the understanding of his word & the ability to be changed in the innermost being. Amen!

There was a reason that slaves were not allowed to learn how to read and that, until just recently, Christians were not allowed to read the bible for themselves.

Education is what will save us all from each other.

i'm not a sinner and i don't need to be saved. i say that your argument is another in a long line of christianity trying to get people to be stupid, putting down science and intellectualism and thinking.

Well, education IS typically inversely related to religiousity, so you might have a point there.

i believe that you cannot have realization without some kind of education.

life is about prgramming yourself to be the way you need to and want to be.
