Good question: According to the Bible James 1:13 says "When under trial, let no one say: “I am being tried by God.” For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone.

So who is to blame for all the bad things that happen today?

Humans are to blame for much of the suffering. They fight wars, commit crimes, pollute the environment, often carry on business in a manner motivated by greed rather than concern for their fellowman, and sometimes indulge in habits that they know can be harmful to their health. When they do these things, they hurt others and themselves. Should it be expected that humans would be immune to the consequences of what they do? When you get a chance read Galatians. 6:7 and Proverbs. 1:30-33) So is it reasonable to blame God for these things that humans themselves do?

Satan and his demons also share responsibility. The Bible discloses that much suffering is because of the influence of wicked spirits. The suffering for which so many people blame God does not come from him at all. Here are a few more scriptures that you can read Revelation 12:12; Acts 10:38

The earth will not always be like it is today, according to Psalms 37:9-11,27, very soon, Jehovah God will destroy all the wicked off the earth, and the earth will be transformed into a paradise. And at that time, there will be no more, death, sadness, or bad things happening to good people.

Read the Book of Job and then read "When Bad Things Happen to Good People" by Harold Kushner. You'll see that this question has been the same throughout history.

In many religions, gods have to be "placated" or else bad things will happen to everyone.

I have never found it inconsistent to believe in a loving God even though life is extremely difficult.

I've asked Christians this so many times...they say that we can grow when we suffer and that it's all part of God's plan. I ask them why there are exceptions when people just suffer to the point of death even if they haven't heard about the Bible and stuff and that therefore God makes them suffer to death and then go to hell.

They usually say that God is a just god and therefore he will make a fair decision in that situation. Wow, so they never needed to hear the gospel in the first place? Wow, so why are people going around telling everyone everything when we could just save them by not telling anyone and keeping it a secret? LOOPHOLE in the theology! Logic break!

Well, let's turn it around for argument's sake.... Why do good things happen to bad people? Why does the rain fall on the good and the bad? Which group considers the rain good OR bad?

Because God doesn't want us to trust in easy believism. He wants us to bend and stretch, exercise our spiritual muscles, toughening us up then keeping us in shape. Or we tend to run to fat if not (in more ways than just the physical). Think of God as a "Jack LaLane". Few listened/believed in his message either.

who ever has a hard life in this world and remains patient and believes in God and does good deeds will go to paradise and have it all in the next life.

just because a person has it all good in this life it doesn't mean God loves them, a person could be very rich and do lots of sins then go straighjt to hell.

It is part of God's mercy, see he is even good to the sinner in this life, if he wanted to he could punish the sinner in this life and the next.

God is testing the good believing person to test their faith, the stronger their faith the stronger the test to see if they are sincere. please remember this. Also remember what doesn't kill u can make u stronger and wiser.

Also some people believe that God is cleansing them from their sins in this life because he loves them.

Isaiah 45:5-7 (King James Version)

5I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:

6That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.

7I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

'The rain falls on the just and unjust'. Meaning bad things happen to all of us.

Think of God as a body guard. You have to hire/seek a body guard before he can protect you and keep you from harm. Same with God, we must hire/seek Jesus and ask God to protect us. We have to go get protection, by asking/seeking it.

So if I go to Jesus and ask/pray for protection, Jesus can now intercede and protect me. If I never ask Jesus can not help, for we never asked for it. Ask/pray and receive or do without.

bless you.

Most never ask Jesus to protect them, so they get no protection. Pray through Jesus and ask God to protect you and you will avoid bad things. I pray for my family, my daughter got into a head on collision at 55 mph. She and all others walked away. I pray, many do not and lose loved ones for not praying.

Protection is instant if you believe in Jesus, in prayer below.

Know this about prayer, it is a three step process. God likes the number three.

1. We pray to Jesus and ask God for help/something. In Jesus' name.

2. God prepares us to handle this so once we get it we will not fail with it. So God teaches us how to handle what we ask for so we will have it our whole lives. God is good, so he prepares us and then gives it. How great is that?

3. God gives us what we asked for. Knowing we will not have to pray for this again.

Many ask and while #2 is happening they give up. So they do not get to #3.

So try praying again, now that you know how it works. And the more you ask for, the longer it usually takes to prepare you for it.

Protection does not need prep time as long as you believe in Jesus. But if I want other things it may take time to ready me to use them for good and wisely before getting them. Most give up in step 2, we will receive if we keep waiting and expecting it.

Its very very very simple. In order for the human race to progress, we have to be given the ability to make our own choices without devine intervention.

If god intervened, then the entire plan would be frustrated, and there would be no reason for us to exist in the first place.
