Research shows that the reason humans struggle with emotion to find equitable solutions is pinpointed the region of the brain called the insular cortex, or insula, which is also the seat of emotional reactions.

The fact that the brain has such a robust response to unfairness shows that sensing unfairness is a basic evolved capacity.

The emotional response to unfairness pushes people from extreme inequity and drives them to be fair. This observation shows our basic impulse to be fair isn't a complicated thing that we learn.

It therefore fully illustrates that all humans have morals controlled by the brain and that Christians are entirely wrong to try and claim morals as their own!!!!

But Christians found a way round it!

Government statistics show that christians are vastly over represented in prisons for sexual, violent and fraudulent crime!

The Catholic church is paying millions in compensation for the sex/pedophile crimes of their priests alone!

Christians are vastly over represented in the divorce courts!

Christians invented the concept of sin and then the idea that you could sin, ask forgiveness, get pardoned and start with a clean sheet!

So no surprise that they are so expert at it is it?!

A Christian is a man that feels repentance on Sunday for what he did on Saturday and is going to do on Monday. - Thomas Russell Ybarra

It's obviously a part of human nature to be divided. Everyone thinks they're right, and wants to push it onto others.

Most things, IMO, in this life that are deemed "moral" or "immoral" are actually amoral (IE lack of religion and non-heterosexuality).

I've noticed fighting has gone to playing the victim game. On the show "The Five" on Fox News, the people who were hosting were playing the victim card, saying that Christians are being picked on, conveniently forgetting how Christians pick on other groups (both the Christian and non-Christian sides hold some blame, so the The Five hosts used selective examples to make their side look more helpless).

I'd like to see a world where we accept each other for who we are (except when it comes to victimizing behaviors), including beliefs (reasonable ones), and live peacefully. But from what I've seen, most people do not want to allow this anytime soon. No religion, race, gender, country, sexual orientation, political beliefs, etc... are immune to this.

depends on what is in a persons heart, like dawkins is looking for fame, so will write anything that will sell,

some cops believe there should be justice in society where robbers, feel society has cheated them and want it for free.

when there is oppression of a people war usually will follow as the Lord does not look kindly on oppression and corruption

science vs faith, faith is what some people have to keep them unafraid and strong during trials and temptations, whereas science can also be used in order to gain wealth and fame

God is everthing just and merciful, where satan is evil and full of hatred with no compassion

Christ gives us freedom, satan gives us torment.

christians vs atheists, Christians would like atheists to share in their joy of salvation, whereas atheist are more a laissey faire (leave me alone people) my opinions.

First off, none of the things you mention are major. Not all Christians are compelled to go after atheist and vice versa; Not all democrats go after republicans at the end of the day it is all boiled down to a your circumstance as in it's your job and your personal beliefs. Good and evil are just personal labels and that is why a lot of things pass for good that are very wrong and bad and lot of truly evil vile things can be actually good things for instance everyone hates flies but yet maggots are very good for healing in the right hands.

Because, and I quote the Matrix:

"Did you know that the first Matrix was designed to be a perfect human world, where none suffered, where everyone would be happy? It was a disaster. No one would accept the program, entire crops were lost. Some believed we lacked the programming language to describe your perfect world, but I believe that, as a species, human beings define their reality through misery and suffering. The perfect world was a dream that your primitive cerebrum kept trying to wake up from. Which is why the Matrix was redesigned to this, the peak of your civilization. I say your civilization, because as soon as we started thinking for you it really became our civilization, which is of course what this is all about. Evolution, Morpheus, evolution. Like the dinosaur. Look out that window. You've had your time. The future is our world, Morpheus. The future is our time." (The Matrix)

The human mind tends to organize information about the world in terms of dichotomies. This is about all you can say. Nobody knows exactly how the human mind works, really, but seeing the world in terms of dichotomies seems to work well enough, so probably that's why you're set up to do that.

But yeah, point is, people choose to look at the world in terms of these divisions. It's so they can feel like they can understand things. And on a practical basis it often works out pretty well for them.

It strange how morals are programmed in human minds. Healthy minded people know the difference between right and wrong. There is right and wrong in the universe and that isn't a human concept. Even Atheists can distinguish between right and wrong. I'm sure its safe to say that hate is wrong and love is right. Murder is wrong and saving a life is right. For some people these morals can be distorted to justify wrong doing as not being wrong.

Because it's all subjective. Good and evil are based on a persons views and opinions and the context in which the situation arises.

Good and Evil only exist within ones mindset.

Good and evil? Is this a children's book? The conflict between Christians and atheists is a fight over the right to exist. There are Christians who feel that atheists are trying to take all of their rights away and there are atheists who feel that there are Christians who are trying to outlaw atheism.

You left out Batman vs. The Joker.

It's just a part of the human condition, and so it's also a common conventional theme in literature and such.

As long as there is an right and wrong ,there will be an battle and conflict will arise. When some choose to do wrong then those who choose to do right will oppose them thereby the conflict
