I think you are getting your religions muddled up. Vicars are ministers of the Protestant Church, which has no problem with people eating bacon. Several religions do ban the eating of bacon though, including Islam and Judaism.

The thing about a hog is that they eat so much. In order to come out on a hog you pretty much have to eat everything except the squeal.
