Polls on how Americans saw the mainstream media (TV and print) election coverage in 2008:
-Rasmussen poll: 69% for Obama, 6% for McCain
-Pew Research poll: 67% for Obama, 11% for McCain
-Sacred Heart University poll: 68% for Obama, 9% for McCain
-Fox News/Opinion Dynamics poll: 67% for Obama, 11% for McCain

University of Connecticut’s Department of Public Policy survey of journalists, nationwide, during the 2008 election: 52% supported Obama versus 19% for McCain.

8/27/10 The Examiner: “Obama and Democrats got 88% of 2008 contributions by TV network execs, writers, reporters”: Senior executives, on-air personalities, producers, reporters, editors, writers and other self-identifying employees of ABC, CBS and NBC contributed more than $1 million to Democratic candidates and campaign committees in 2008. Democratic total of $1,020,816 was given by 1,160 employees of the three major broadcast television networks, with an average contribution of $880. By contrast, only 193 of the employees contributed to Republican candidates and campaign committees, for a total of $142,863.

And they never -- NEVER -- offer evidence about how grossly biased Fox News is. They'll deny or ignore the polls and start their typical democrat hate-speech: Anyone who watches Faux News is a fascist, racist homophobe, etc. etc. etc.

There are other places we can get more honest reporting. Biased towards conservatism? Yes, but hugely less biased than the democrat media:
-11/21/08 Zogby poll: Fox News most trusted TV news source: approval 39%; CNN approval 16%; MSNBC 15%. A majority think the media is biased: the web is the most trusted news medium (over TV and print combined).
-2008 Pew poll: Fox viewers are least politically skewed: 39% are Republicans, 33% are Democrats 33%, while at CNN viewers 51% Democrat and 18% Republican.

It's a global show. baruk is so pathetic, so weak, has little if any respect at home but still needs to maintain this "President" image on the world stage.

The failure would have shoes, shirts, tomatoes, corn and whatever else thrown at him if the foreigners were to really know how sad and weak he truly is. In fact I doubt Putin would even give baruk the time of day if he found out he's the most despised man in America, it's all a show put on by the most corrupt gang in America, baruk's Administration.

My wife had to wait on some nutty guy that went off on how the liberal media was brainwashing her and all Americans.. this was at an office depot. He then went off on a tangent regarding some huge revolution that was going to take place, and her being hung from a tree. This seems to be the norm on the internet with people talking about some conspiracy with the liberal media.. thankfully such nonsense stays online for the most part.

I think most people that think in terms of a grand liberal media with a socialist agenda are batshit insane.

nicely, i'm going to commence with we are clever sufficient to comprehend which you would be able to no longer use a Fox information pollto show a Fox information speaking element. consistent with hazard if a number of you and your illiterate toothless racist homophobic pals spent extra time studying in school and much less time being terrified of their English instructors by way of fact they have been "thugs," you would be knowledgeable sufficient to be a journalist your self. A 2011 Farliegh Dickinson pollconfirmed that Fox information visitors are genuinely much less stated than people who do no longer watch any information. How'd you omit that? incredibly they stated it on your "honest and Balanced" information sources suited?

Agreed. The media should spend more time focusing on the search for Obama's birth certificate.

Ask under politics.

If I wanted to answer political questions I'd be looking for them under politics. And I would not answer this one in any case because I'm not American, thank heavens.

As far as I know, more people are liberal than conservative, so it stands to reason that this discrepancy would be reflected by the number of people working in the media.

Evidence about Fox being biased? Here's some:

The existence of a "Liberal media" is one of the biggest myths in US politics. US media isn't so much liberal as it's pro-establishment.
