a life storm that you know God has seen you through. Maybe He took away your problem but maybe He just helped you cope. Either way I am curious about your personal storm that God saw you through!

Wow, this is a great question. It is a good way to read the testimonies of others.

In my life, God has been so good. Situations weren't always good, but God was always good. As we are obedient to His word, He will see us through.

Unfortunately, time and space won't allow for me to tell them all, but I will tell a few.

Example #1 of God's Faithfulness:

It was May 1999 and there was an F5 tornado heading toward our home. After our family prayed, the tornado passed another way. Our surrounding areas had substantial damage, but not one blade of grass was harmed at our home. The 91st Psalm says that even though a thousand may fall at your side, and 10,000 at your right hand, it will not come near you. Thank God, it didn't come near or harm us.

Example #2 of God's Faithfulness:

A few years ago, my mom was rushed into the emergency room. We didn't know what was wrong with her. She was disoriented and breathing shallow. Once she got to the hospital they hooked her up to all kinds of machines. All at once, she smiled and said, "Oh, it's so beautiful." Then, her machine beeped and seemed to have flat-lined. I began to cry out to God, and within seconds, everything was fine and she came to her senses and was up and talking to the Dr. He even let her go home that same day. Wow! God still works miracles.

Example #3 of God's Faithfulness:

Last year, we had a horrendous ice storm. In fact, we were without power and heat for 14 days. In the middle of all that, my dear grandpa died and we had to have his funeral in the dark, cold funeral home since they were without power also. But in the midst of all that, I felt that God walked with us and gave me a calm assurance of peace that grandpa was fine. I KNEW grandpa was in heaven and all was well.

Example #4 of God's Faithfulness:

At the age of 9, I was diagnosed with some heart conditions. I had mitral valve prolapse, mitral regurgitation, and inappropriate sinus tachychardia. My family and I have always believed for my healing. My symptoms worsened about 4 years ago and I was constantly in and out of the emergency room. There have even been times that my heart was beating so fast that I thought I would die. Every single time, God helped me and I never was hospitalized. Now...get this, on my last cardiologist visit, they said that I didn't need to come back because all of my tests were normal!!! Wow!

Example #5 of God's Faithfulness:

Earlier this year, my husband and I were at work, when we got the news that our home had been broken into. At this point in time we were going through so much... our family business had to close, I had just had 5 relatives die all in a row, our home was up for foreclosure and our finances were in shambles. Through it all, we remained faithful tithers (see Malachi 3) and givers. Recently, my husband got a raise and a promotion, I got into a job that I absolutely LOVE, and we were blessed with the money to pay off a couple of our high medical bills. We still trust God everyday and thank Him for His goodness and mercy. He is the only source of hope.

It was't so much a storm as the doldrums (you know? no wind, no nothing, just stuck day after day, no matter how hard you row). I was trying to work God out, reading books, visiting different churches, trying different forms of worship and sacrifice. Nothing satisfied until I met people who were different because they had receiveed the "rushing mighty wind" of God's Spirit (evidenced by speaking in an unlearned prayer language - Acts 2:1-4, 33, 39; 10:44-48).

They had daily input from God direct, a personal relationship, not one-way religious observance. I realised that's what FAITH IN GOD entails - expecting Him to DO what only he can!

I called on him and received the same & never looked back.

After going through several life storms with a daughter's illness, a son's depression and dealing with a father-in-laws alzheimer's, I thought through all of these things my marriage was strong and stable. I was devastated to find out my husband was disappointed with me, and resentful of me for things I had failed him in the past. He began to look for something else to fill those needs and found it. I felt I almost lost him, my faith, my complete self esteem, and my sanity. I could talk to no one but my heavenly Father there was no where else to turn. I came through it not without scars but also knowing my husband and myself better and renewing and strengthening my relationship with my husband and my Lord. The best lessons learned can also be the most painful. I am still not without sorrow when I think of the pain I caused my husband, which came back to me many fold. I would not have won the battle without my Heavenly Father.

When my daughter had cancer and I had to watch her get chemo-therapy every other week for 6 months. What made it worse was just a few years earlier, I had wanted to adopt another child and my wife was against it. It took a lot of faith to trust that God would provide a merciful answer and also, that regardless, there was no one in control of the situation but God.

i am like addicted to sports and being physically fit and stuff. so last May, during soccer i tore my ACL and meniscus during the last soccer game of the season. it was terrible. i had to have surgery in June and then i was on crutches for 6 weeks because of the meniscus. i also couldn't do ANY physical activities for about 4 months, which meant i couldn't play volleyball in the fall (i was going to be a varsity starter). so i went through that all and i was really frustrated, but i got through it. but like the last 2 weeks of the volleyball season, i decided to try to play. i tore the same ACL and meniscus again. i have to go through all the surgery and therapy and no sports and crutches again and i'll miss volleyball this winter and soccer this spring. at first i was so mad at God, but He's really given me peace and i kinda realized other people are going through way more than me, so i'll be okay! lol... that's a good question!

There are so many to tell, God sees me through my daily trials and I guess the biggest one to date is my lonely, inadequate feelings since I have moved to a new town and I don't know anyone, and my family lives 700 miles away. God has pulled me closer to Him and has brought me and my husband closer also.

Do you definitely care what a team of idiots say. What you need to understand is fundamentalists are a team of ineffective morons who dont understand something with regard to the bible, and declare they do reason they take it actually. truly, they're the worst thank you to bypass religiously. Any form of fundamentalism, Christian, Islam, Hindu, Buddhist, Jewish, Pagan, eastern, is in basic terms some invention of a team of smug "Holier than thou's" who've by no potential even took a variety on the bible, and have self belief that a e book made thousands of years in the past, written with hidden messages is a regulation e book. Fundamentalist see their holy text fabric as a rulebook, that could't be performed, provided that holy books incorporate all styles of writing varieties, jointly with thoughts, allegories, parables, poems, songs, historic debts, you call it. So alongside comes the fundamentalist, without preparation on something, alongside without complication-free experience or preparation, bypass an make interpretations claiming they're fabulous, whilst in certainty they simply thoroughly dumbed down faith so some uneducated yokels and inner city trash ought to understand. listed right here are a catalogue of issues fundamentalist do a million. They pontificate in a "fireplace and brimstone" type 2. They positioned too plenty attempt scuffling with evolution theories claiming the worldwide grew to become into created in six days 3. they suspect that their little team is the only stored team, in basic terms reason they suspect it precisely the way their team does, and thats adequate adequate. so as that they are able to sin and be a dirtbag all they desire reason their stored, and all the different stable human beings bypass to hell 4. Terrorism is suitable in Jesus call 5. They justify all filthy strikes. 6. They communicate loud, and use too many syllables, to make themselves sound smart. 7. They direct mail YA like CJ, until now prevalent as Chris. yet as a factor notice, mainline protestant church homes slot in properly too, reason they settle for evolution. with a view to respond to your question, they sense their doctrine is stronger to all others. yet their the only ones of their little shell no longer accepting evolution, and could fairly combat it as a substitute of settle for that their entire approach is a shame. So fundamentalism must be stopped if we might like hatred and dictatorship.

I have a few hundred to tell you but I won't. Unless you request.

For one: My son was born with an enlarged heart and spleen. They wanted to remove the spleen. I told them no. They said they would give me one month (believe it or not they can take your child away from you when you don't feel comfortable with something.) I went home and prayed about it and as I had been doing from the beginning I prayed over him. His impossibly large spleen and heart on the return of our next visit had shrunk and the very rare blood disorder he had disappeared. No surgery for the big guy! Praise God!

another one?

I was a single mom worked form home making 1,400 amonth and somehow everything month my money doubled without any explanation on due to God. What do I mean? I mean I made 1,400 a month from home and yet wihtout bouncing checks, without using credit of any kind, I spent about 2.500 a month. Nothing ever added up but we never went without.

One more ok. Just for fun!

The storms were raging thourgh our town and the lights went out. They were out for about 5 hours at this point and I went upstairs to get more candles. At the top of the stairs I heard this noise in my sons room. I looked in and his window was pulsating, in and out, and there I could see a tornado spining tree limbs and whirling with anger at my back door. I ran downstairs, strangley clam, and picked up my baby. The torando lifted itself up went over my townhouse, over my car and moved on to the next complex. It tore the next complex up but my home not even one blade of grass was moved. Not one shingle, not one scratch. Matter of fact there was debree everywhere EXCEPT for in my yard and there was a circle of debree around my car but not one thing touched it!

GOD ROCKS!

He sent a special couple in my life to keep me on track when my family (parents) left. They were my high school sunday school teachers (husband and wife). today, some.....25years later, i teach other children. 7-8th grade sunday school class. I truly love it!!! It is important for children to know that someone cares.

Ok.

I had quit a job and couldn't afford rent so I moved back home. I was doing okay but could not find what I wanted job wise. Three months passes, then Dad pressures me to get a job and get my butt in gear. I understood but it hurt me a little and prayed about it. Next day phone call, next day interview, and the next week went to work. Amazing.

Merry Christmas !!
