What is your idea of God? I mean, is he this stern father image? Is He the sun? (A giver of life if there is one). I just don't get a clear image. Please enlighten me. Thank you.

My personal opinion is that god is this one huge unknown that people use to hide all the other unknowns. It's a concept created by humans so as not to feel so alone and/or vulnerable, so as not to feel that their future and the consequences of their actions rest in the hands of other human who are just as imperfect and unpredictable as they are. It is a concept created by those in power to remain in power, or by those who thought a certain set of rules or regulations was needed at a certain time and needed something to give credibility for that (religions).

Personally I don't believe the concept is needed, I believe humans are much better off without it. However, sometimes I consider what would happen to humanity if the concept of god suddenly disappeared....There would be so many suicides, so many things would run out of control, morality would degrade quickly. That's not because religion or the belief in god puts these things in us, but because most humans simply can't handle the disappearance of god yet.....

It is a human weakness that I believe will be resolved and gone as soon as humans become a bit more mature socially and mentally to be able to handle it.

What is God? Ok

God Is Energy

Energy can not be created or destroyed it just is.

God is a Father figure (somewhat like a workaholic Father who loves his children but gone a lot, you can leave a message [prayer])

God is unchanging from day one he has not changed his mind once!

God is a God of the LAW, very much black and white, Stern but Fair. But break the LAW and your done! He will still not leave you but you will not stand before him when you die.

God when he started he had a plan and he has not veered from the over all plan and each are or can be a part of that plan, some will be removed.

God has chosen for himself a form not unlike our form, that is 2 arms 2 legs body and head. The head has facial feachers. 2 eyes 2 ears nose mouth chin hair. He is not flesh but Energy.

God at the beginning wanted one that would see and understand everything he would do and create, one that would be his word and witness of everything, "Christ"

The lists would just keep going so I'll stop!

God is the father and is the way the truth and the light. God will never leave your side in times of happiness or grief. Even though you don't visibly see him he never leaves your side. He knows your every move your every breath your every good and bad sides. God is the answer for the world today. Without him, we would be nothing, and no matter how bad things may seem to get you can always depend on God. God is the Savior who sent his son Jesus to die on the cross to save us from our sins. He is definitely the answer to life and no matter what God continues to have unconditional love for each and every one of us. Not favoring any but loving us all the same.

If you have read the bible you will notice that the idea of God has changed down through the ages of man . form a thunderbolt throwing Angry God to a forgiving Father.

God is also called , The Self Made One , The Creator Of All Things ( quite literally) Including good and evil. It threw off sparks of its self that became the souls of ALL that was and will be.before creating the physical universe.

First, God Is....meaning there is a real God...in the Universe, in the World, in You...

God is Spirit...Love...Peace...Joy...Forgiveness...Mercy...Grace...

Second, How do I know?...When I was a grade school child, something (thunder storm-lightening) scared me very badly...I think it hit something close by...maybe even the stove which had balls of fire shooting out from behind it. Anyway, without realizing what I was doing or even knowing that I was doing it, I was running from one end of the house to the other screaming at the top of my lungs. When I finally became aware of what I was doing, I thought I was going to die...so having been taught that God is real, I starting praying "God, please don't let me die. I don't want to die"...A white light appeared at the top of the corner of the room & said "You're going to be all right, Nala." I simply stood there & watched until the white light disappeared...then just as calm as I could be, I walked to where my aunt was & watched the balls of fire shooting out from the stove. I was transformed from utter panic to absolute peace & calm. That is who God is to me.

Third, God is not a myth, folktale or any such thing. He is a very loving Spirit...One that I will always obey when He speaks... Why?...Because He has saved my life on more than one occassion & I know without a doubt because it was that Gentle, Loving Voice that interceded.

I hope you come to know Him as I do...Much Love, Nala

He's a seriously holy being. No hanky panky sin tolerated in any shape or form. He's a judge past, present, and future. He's full of love and desperately wants to forgive and spare people from torment. He wants all to come and receive Him. He's a happy sort that has a great sense of humor and a contagious laugh at funny things that happens on His earth and creation. He weeps with reports of all the sick sin, misery, and suffering that goes on.

He's getting ready to call it a day.

A Higher Power that is not human. A Creator that is not human. If God is human then we are all doomed.

The power that created all this and us humans had to be the neatest thing ever.

I think the Creator has gone on to finish the other universes and galaxies and I believe It will not be home for dinner cause the job is really big.

It's late and I have got to get to bed, these answers are getting really far out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God has different parts to Him, like we do. He has feelings, including anger and jealousy.

There is the Father part, which is stern, authoritative, lays down the law, Justice, Judge....

There is the Holy Spirit ("Motherly") it is comforter, counselor, guide, conscience....

There is the Son, who has parts of mother and father in Him. He balances them. He embodies Love, forgiveness, etc...

Add these all up and you get GOD.

Physically, I only have the Bible to go on what He looks like--usually described as "fire" flames, or bright light.

Perhaps you need to rephrase your question. God isn't an idea, God is love and judges life on its ability to show love as his Son did. Interestingly since isolationism is a holdover teaching from our pre-intervention days a lot of people bulk at including animals and plants into this blessing or condemnation treatment. However, as his Son warns even those who would do miracles in his name, If I don't know you, your toast! So since plants and animals aren't stressing God must know them. Trees make shade, flowers make colors, Pets make companionship and humanity creates conflicts? I think we really need to work on our task, don't you?

i don't have a clear image either...the way i see it, he's all around us. i don't like it when people try to 'draw' him out- as a woman since men can't control everything, as a spirit, or even as an old beared, barefoot guy, outside of cartoons like the far side. there is no figure, no image, though glimpses might be seen in nature or in moments of time. trying to find g-d is part of the mystery of life.

My idea of God, or who He is, and what He is all about evolves as I participate in Bible Studies. My concept of who He is has changed quite a bit since I first began. And I have an idea it will continue to deepen as I get to know Him more.

His mind is incomprehensible. His face is impossible to look upon, or it would kill us. His natural voice spoken to us would blow our heads off. He has all wisdom and power. He is totally independent of anyone else. He answers to no one. His will is sovereign. He is in ultimate total control of everything. All He does or allows falls in line with His master plan for humanity.

He has always been and will always be. There is none above Him in all of creation, because He created and maintains everything.

But. He manifested Himself as a human for 33 years on earth. Fulfilled His own law by living a perfectly sinless life, then offered Himself as a sacrifice to compensate for our sins, to meet His own standard of perfection in our place.

He is love.

God, or whatever you want to call it, is a spirit that exists within each of us. It has no powers, no strengths or miracles or anything of that sort. Some scam artists figured out a way to put their thoughts in words and called it religion and word of god and all that and sold it to a bunch of suckers who blindly believe in it.

It's difficult to contain a description of God in a paragraph. But God is caring, good, and awesome. It's kind of like God is something to be afraid of because he is so pure, and powerful, but at the same time, he loves us, and is good. A father figure if you like your father would be good, but your father is not omnipotent. God gave us a way to measure his love for him by sending his only Son to die as a sacrifice for our sins, if we accept that gift in our hearts, and confess and repent (stop sinning).

He created the universe, and will set things right some day once and for all.

What is great, is that although God is so awesome, you can personally know him. Pray to God these simple words, but pray them in your heart, and seriously. "I want to know you and be loved by you, and blessed by you, please show me the way."

If you pray that prayer sincerly and in your heart you will know the way, but you may not choose to accept him, because our sins seperate us from him like a wall, so we need to humble ourselves daily and see our sin, so he can forgive us, and we can forgive others and ourselves. It's a great feeling, like you can walk on thin air, beyond description.

This essay is probably about as sacrilegious as any you will ever read. I wrote it quite some time ago. But I am far from comfortable with this speculation, myself. I have always been interested in antigravity and ‘free energy’. In order to make these possibilities a reality, I needed to reexamine the physics of modern science. Eventually, I determined that early in the last century, an error was made that turned modern science down a blind alley. The Michaelson-Morley experiments that ‘proved’ there was no aether gained great credibility over the twenty years before Dayton Miller designed and built the experiment that proved M-M wrong. Unfortunately, during that time, Albert Einstein hung his work on M-M, and the entire physics establishment, mesmerized by his theories, followed suit. By the time Miller came along, it was too late, and his research was pointedly ignored.

As I continued my research, I noticed in the descriptions of the Zero Point, or the Aether, that whatever it was, it seemed to required high voltage spikes and some form of spinning magnetic fields to tap into it. There was also a peculiar tendency for Aether-detecting devices to work, or not work, depending on who was operating it. This was not only unacceptable, but also illogical. How could a machine know who was present, or what they were feeling? Obviously, the machine could not. Therefore, there had to be another element that I was missing. Could the energy itself somehow be able to detect who was present and respond accordingly? After all, biological systems utilize subtler energies than mere electricity and chemistry. Otherwise, death should be easily reversible. At this time, chance, or providence stepped in, in the form of a news story about a hurricane.

Several months previously, I had found an entertaining website that collected just about every one of my favorite conspiracy theories in one place, called MetaTech.org. Or maybe it was .com. Regardless, it included a link to a new concept, the ‘cloudbuster’. This device was supposed to be able to cause rain, break up ‘chemtrails’, modify weather, and chase away flying saucers. As I said, it was very entertaining. Until the day that I looked up and saw a perfect set of chemtrails in the sky above ...my ...home. Oh, s_ _ _. I decided that as soon as I found a job, one of my first orders of business would be to build a CB and knock that junk out of my sky.

That resolution lay fallow for some months, until Hurricane Francis swept across the ocean, ready to pound an already shattered Florida. Then a strange thing happened. The hurricane stopped in its tracks, as if being attacked by an invisible force. Slowly, it began dying, even though it was still over water, and according to all the science I knew, should have been drawing even more power from the ocean. When it reached Force 2, only half of what it was before it stopped, it dawned on me what was happening. Someone in Florida had a CB, and was using it against the storm! Judging from the cloud patterns on the weather radar, there was at least one was near Miami, and another around Ft Lauderdale. If this wasn’t proof that CB’s worked, no more convincing proof was possible. But this meant crystals, Orgone, Reich, and all of those ridiculous devices with crystals, copper spirals, magnets, and glitter mixed into cute little cones and pyramids were real! And the characteristics of Orgone were at least similar to those of Aether. Could it be...?

Perhaps it was time for me to learn a little more about just what the Aether, or ‘Orgone’, really was. Apparently, William Reich developed a theory of Orgone, which he then began using to do all kinds of interesting things. Unfortunately, he died a year before I was born, apparently in jail, on fraud charges. I’d read that before, which was why I’d ignored Reich’s work the first time I’d read about it. But then there was that hurricane. This meant that Aether should be accessible by methods other than the brute force HV and magnetic resonating methods I’d been exploring. What’s more, if the Aether was truly aware, then my previous tack had been … discourteous, at least. Gathering energy in that manner was more akin to rape than anything else I could think of. But what was this Orgone stuff? Spirit? If it was alive and aware, this was at least a possibility. But it is big. Aether inhabits the very fabric of the Universe. And there is only one Spirit that I know of that is Omnipresent. And Omniscient.

No. It can’t be! God is Spirit and Light. Wups, no help there. God is all-powerful. And Aether is power. God is Love. Well, Aether is aware, and Don Croft’s devices seem to show that Good triumphs over Evil in direct, head-to head battles with enemies apparently far more powerful than him. If that’s not Love, or at least an indicator of Aether’s preference... This is impossible! God IS NOT simply an energy field that anyone with an HHG can just tap into! What about the Bible??? What about Jesus??? What was the point of the last 2000... no... 6000 years??? WHAT ABOUT MY MANSION???!!!

Get a grip! The Universe makes sense. It has to, or it couldn’t exist. Aether prefers good. But at least on Earth, good is often overcome by evil. Could that be a description of Original Sin? Then since Aether prefers good, and is apparently ‘damaged’ by ‘wrong spin’, it makes sense that it will desire ‘positive’ spin. (POR?) Aether is alive and aware. It is intelligent enough to create minerals, plants, animals, and humans. And apparently, it created us with the ability to modify its spin locally. God says we are His tools. Are we intended to repair Him? Then what about Heaven? Is that some sort of spacetime ‘trap’, intended to store a few humans in preparation for the day the Universe ends? Is that the fate of the ‘Bride’ of Christ? Christianity was necessary to lift humanity from its previous hateful, depressed, and confused state. It was a tool, just as Judaism and Hinduism were tools.

On the other hand, it’s just possible that ‘going to the light’ recycles souls, wiping out what was, and giving another chance to ‘get it right’, while ‘Heaven’ is a storage facility for those who have gotten it right. This would explain both reincarnation AND the Christian Afterlife. Huh. Who knew?

Logically, if this were true, there should be some basis for the idea of a Father and a Son as well. Aether itself is obviously Spirit. The Father was first made known to Abraham (or Adam?) as a person. They spoke to each other and made promises. I’ve no idea how an energy field could do that. But if Aether controls gravity, space and time, is it so difficult to figure that It formed Jesus in the womb, then when He completed His mission, transported Him back through time to do the talking? Jesus did say, “the Father and I are one”, and “if you have seen Me, you have seen the Father…”

Ewww. Yeah, that’ll get me excommunicated.

I began by hearing about God. As a little boy, I asked my grandmother, how is it that the planets didn't bum into each other and the sweet lady took a few balls, marbles and other round objects and showed me that for them to stand up perfectly straight, they had to spin evenly. I had to spin them, but eventually they bumped into each other. I had to try to spin them all in such a way that they did not collide. I kept failing. Why grandma? "Because you are imperfect! If you want to live a life of not bumbling, pray and ask God, who keeps all those planets from bumping into each other, to keep you from bumbling." With answers like those, as a kid, you begin to wonder and seek to know this wise being who could balance those huge orbs without them banging each other. "Why can't I see him, grandma? Because everything you can see has a limit. Can you see the wind? Can you see electricity? Wow! My God is a powerful God that regulates all the powers in the Universe. With that ingrained respect, I learned to pray to and receive answers from God. It helped that all of my families going back 6 generations on both sides of my family were married and all of their children were conceived within the marriage union. Guess what, I was the first of all those--and I happened to the 7th -first born on both sides. However, my parents got married after I was born. After I left such a powerful foundation to live in New York, show business got me hooked on the most beautiful women in the world After the first 5 knockout dates, I would be empty. They were beautiful and made me see the stars, but.... one day, deep in desperation, loneliness and emptiness, I called out to the friend I used to talk to as a kid: "Why am I not happy? Just as plain I heard:" When you were little, you used to spend hours in your room talking to me: you used to ask me everything. I am still here and I still love you but you are doing things that will cause you to perish in sin: your selection process is based on the outside wrappings. Repent first, change your ways and come back to where we were-- speaking to each other daily and I will help you. It took some time, but I finally did it.

Now, I have gone form one knowing about God, to one who knows God. There is a difference. Only a proper understanding of His teachings and an understanding of the insurance package His son Jeshua brought to us can we have that personal relationship with God. It is a spiritual connection through understanding the scriptures. No ordinary human can give you the type of understanding necessary to understand spiritual matters. We all bumble when we try. The only thing we can do, is what my grandma did: introduce people to the way, the truth and the life. Only you can discover the true path to the true God. A God who is so precise and perfect has no imperfect way. Mark you: opposing forces through carnality, misunderstanding, false philosophies, mixed up priorities, incongruent relationships—those are blockages. Begin by being alone and asking the huge, but accessible creator of the Universe to impart upon you the way to true happiness, knowledge, understanding and peace. Ask him to filter out all fakes and to direct you to the truth only. Remember man is fickle, finite and uses only 10% wisdom-potential. You have the gift of choice: you can ask a marginally-literate person a question, or you can ask the infallible, perfect creator of the Universe.

One who knows. In my search for truth, I met every evil spirit on a first name basis. If God did not prophetically ordain that every 7th generational first-born seed of Abraham be set aside for specific gifts, I could not have overcome the temptations of Hollywood, the entertainment industry, racing cars' exciting ladies--the life designed to spend money as if it were going out of style. I would give it up all over again to find what I have found--peace with all men and a wife who is my best friend, girlfriend, and lover--all in one, because I asked a father and friend I had lost. My life is a true enactment of the story of the prodigal son. Been there: done that!
