Question:
Is freewill worth all the evil in the world?

First of all I don't believe in freewill if there is an all-knowing god and I don't understand why an all powerful god would allow people to make evil choices that destroy lives. I understand that if we didn't have choices we wouldn't be like robots and if there was no evil than we wouldn't appreciate the good as much. My questions are, why is it so hard to do the right thing? Why does sin feel so good at first and then it ruins your life and lives around you? Why won't god reveal himself to all the unbelievers in the world? I don't believe, but how can it be my fault when I don't have the understanding? If I am one of gods chosen than does that mean i should wait until he gives me understanding? What if that never happens and I go to hell? I can't just choose to believe or force myself to believe. And I also can't help but hate god for making this world so evil so no one can have any security unless they put their trust in him. How can I trust him if I don't even know he's there and I have to live in the world with all the evil out there and in my head, evil that god created and allows to happen. Is there something I'm missing?

I think of it like this.

Freewill exists so that people make the right choice. It is a given that most people will turn to evil.

But, God wants the righteous people to be with him. So, he gives us freewill. And, if we make the right choices, we are rewarded for it. Sort of a "the cream always rises to the top" type of approach.

However, this is not truly fair. Because, you do have some people that aren't instructed on what the right choice is. Some people are brought up in a violent, evil environment and are not able to make the right choice.

This method of thinking is only good if all people are brought up in an environment where they are taught how to make the right choices. In reality, not all humans are. And, I think this is where this belief falls short.

So, to answer your question. I say No. Freewill is not worth all the evil in the world. If we think about the structure of belief in God, it makes no sense that God created mankind as beings with freewill.

As history has shown us, man will always turn to evil, even when inside of the very institutions that are meant to keep man from evil.

How many evil deeds have been commited by high ranking members of the Christian and Catholic churches?

How many more atrocities have happened that no one knows about?

Why do governments profess to be following God, but yet still pass evil laws?

For God to create mankind with a freewill, knowing all the while that man is basically evil, then releasing control of the very thing God created, and abandoning all responsibility for it, to me makes no logical sense at all.

It makes more sense that there is no one driving the train. It makes more sense that this whole thing is just a random combination of elements, chemicals, matter, energy, etc.

1. If you don't believe in Free Will, then you look like an evil criminal who wants to blame his sins on someone else (ANYONE!).

2. You're not the only criminal doing this, if you are a criminal.

3. God made many human-like apes and Bible says about all creation that God thought His creation(s) were "good" but when He made man in His image, He said "Very good".

4. Bible says "Whoever hates God, will receive punishment, his 2nd, 3rd and even 4th generation but whoever loves God (of Israel), and implements Ten Commandments, God will bless his 1000 generations".

5. If God reveals Himself to people, people would acknowledge Him just as they acknowledge stars & sun but what's the point? He doesn't want rituals & worship, stupid. He wants people to stick to Ten Commandments and there are only two ways (tell me if I'm wrong):

a. To make Ten Commandments as quick & ruthless as laws of physical world so as one surely dies if jumping from height, one would also get seriously hurt as soon as he errs regarding laws of Moral Values.

b. To show mercy.

Of course, if God becomes merciless, no one will survive because "we all have sinned". Or, as you have put it even more beautifully, "why it is so hard to do the right thing?" so as knowing what is right and doing it are so ambiguous & hard, so God made their punishment equally "hard & ambiguous". Because God of Israel, my Lord, is a merciful lord.

6. Yes, everyone is Chosen but there is no hurry so relax & enjoy. Even if you can hardly implement a SINGLE Commandment, you're the best person I've known. I'm not kidding.

7. If you never understand a bit, you won't go to Hell. If God does throw you in Hell, tell people "Hey, I'm here just because I couldn't understand. How stupid of God!" So this is never gonna happen, despite what Christians, Muslims and other gentiles tell you. In other words, 10 Commandments are not mindless as Law of Gravity or other ****.

8. Ten Comm are not about Belief. They are about Action.

9. To get security, all you have to do is try to implement Ten Commandments. Just having thought that will start your journey towards salvation.

10. The softness that comes with Laws of Moses has given people chance to confuse them and disobey them.

11. Abraham was born in a totally idolatry world like Gautama Buddha. Both became friends of God just through contemplation & meditation. If they achieved that and God made all men equal, I don't know why you can't?

i might sacrifice lots to ward off baby abuse, yet no longer my unfastened will. without freewill we would be like little distant controlled human beings. We does no longer be human beings. in basic terms automatons. there is reliable interior the worldwide and evil interior the worldwide. each and each human beings makes our own judgements and selections. Freewill would not reason evil anymore than it reasons reliable. human beings reason the reliable or evil. people who make undesirable selections often attempt to locate a thank you to place the blame on something else extremely than take accountability for his or her own strikes. We in basic terms all ought to enhance up.
