Question:
Isn't dark matter and dark energy evidence of the spiritual world?

Scientists claim everything in the universe is physical

...except for dark matter and dark energy.

Well if it ain't physical, it's what we have worded spiritual.

Science does not support or exclude the existence of the spiritual world. That is because religion has not given a proper definition of "the spiritual world".  It is whatever you believe it is -- so you can believe any aspect of science supports vague unsubstantiated definitions. However, real science has been burying religion for centuries and will continue to do so.  If you present a solid definition or premise of a classically religion based "spiritual world" it will likely be contradicted by observable science. (E.g. diseases are caused by curses from God -- nope, they are caused by microorganisms, genetic aberrations or toxins in the environment.)

The more we learn about the universe, the smaller the domain of religion becomes.  Dark matter and dark energy are no different.

Dark Matter cannot be seen, but its gravitational effects are mathematically and observably evident.  Think of invisible hydrogen clouds between the stars. Dark energy is currently a hypothesis to explain why the expansion of our universe is accelerating rather than decelerating. The observation of the expansion of the universe (from the Big Bang) is evidence that the creationism basis for religions and their vagaries of a "spiritual world" are just stories.

Do not know for sure but they are open up a lot of paranormal activity playing around with stuff like that. Antimatter is not matter, but it takes a very powerful magnet to keep it from destroying us.

Dark matter and energy do not imply that they are not physical nor do they imply anything spiritual and no religion has predicted or described either one. Basically your argument amounts to "that sounds really weird and I don't understand it, so it must be spiritual".

It isn't dark because it doesn't exist it is dark because it has no effect on electromagnetic fields.

What we call dark matter and dark energy have a physical effect on our reality, thus they (or whatever is causing the effects) are a physical reality. Invisible electromagnetic waves had a physical impact on our reality long before they could be explained and investigated, our lack of knowledge does not stop things that we cannot yet explain from being real or physical.

No, since matter, energy, time and space are all elements of the natural universe. None of them have anything to do with the reality of the spirit world.

No, not any more than any creation of God.  We can perceive His existence by all of the things He made, not but especially because of dark matter and energy.

Gravity is a property of matter and energy.  Dark matter and energy were discovered when more gravity was found than could be accounted for by the regular (called "luminous") matter and energy.

Almighty God Jehovah is Spirit, not matter.  As our Creator, He creates from nothing, and has full control of dynamic energy, but he is not energy. Isaiah 40:25-26  says so.

Almighty God still exists, and is the Creator of the universe, but He decides who finds Him -  and it's NOT with a telescope or a knowledge of gravity.  Those who seek him sincerely and earnestly will do so, and he is not far off from each one of us. Acts 17:26-27

Dark matter, a component of the universe whose presence is discerned from its gravitational attraction rather than its luminosity. Dark matter makes up 30.1 percent of the matter-energy composition of the universe; the rest is dark energy (69.4 percent) and “ordinary” visible matter (0.5 percent).

Possibly. I have wondered this myself. There are physical bodies and objects and spiritual bodies and objects. We cannot normaly see the spiritual ones, but they must be made of some kind of matter.

There is way more dark matter and energy in the universe than there is regular matter and energy. God and Jesus do not fill the universe but their influence does. Perhaps dark energy and matter are how God influences the universe. Scientists know that dark energy is the reason why the universe is expanding at a greater and greater rate.

Scientists don't claim anything about dark matter and dark energy, moron. Dark matter and dark energy are not evidence. Dark matter and dark energy are hypotheses. Dark matter and dark energy have not been proven to exist. You have no idea what proof or the scientific method are.

No. The spiritual world is beyond humans ability to comprehend.

Utter bullshit.

"Dark matter" and "Dark energy" are IN FACT physical as in "Gravitation without particle interactions" and "Expansion without em radiation"

BOTH of these are ordinary physical properties of, say Neutrinos and cosmic rays.

What kind of moron comes up with this crap?

Scientists will keep on telling us things and confuse us. But that doesn't help us in the short journey called Life. Scientists know very little about the Truth. They admit it, they probably don't know ninety nine percent of the Truth, what this dark matter, dark energy is. But scientists have agreed on one thing, that everything in this world is energy. Even this human body when examined under a microscope, the tiniest particle called a quack has the quality of transforming into energy. Based on the old theory, energy can neither be created nor destroyed. It can only be transformed from one form to another. Therefore science today agrees with the ancient spiritual belief that we are all energy, spiritual energy, the energy of the Soul, the Spirit or the Atman. That is what we must realize because that will liberate us from all suffering and unite us with the Divine.

Spiritual time is when you believe in through Christ Jesus, which saves us from dark matter; we who are saved leave we to His becoming, coming, thus a new beginning is heard and it is of no one yet we of Christ are born again and even so in the world, the dead shall rise; will be its finish from the dark work us all.For when this Christ is true, He himself which came gives light to the world that all dark matter is saved or set outside as it should be. Nevertheless, God rested on the seventh day. And all that was in the seventh-day rest, God has adorned. Adorn, what He calls's good; that was the void, would be life for all as;  The creator and created would rest. This is the force of the dark matter and the light in the balance, The black hole. which you have said' "not physical".but yet rest the matter.

There is eternal life for those who believe.

. the beta of life Christ Jesus. There is eternal life for those who believe.

“While The Light is with you, believe in The Light, that you might be the children of The Light.” "The due

"When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.  " The universe of the physical.

Perhaps in the sense that it's part of creation, which Jehovah God said to look to in regards finding evidence of His existence. (Romans 1:20)

Other than that, it isn't tied to the spirit realm, since available science currently has no means of measuring the physics of it.

New-age woo-woos aren't scientists, anon. I know of no scientists who claim dark matter and dark energy are not physical. Some have suggested they arise from a physical process: the emergence, from the quantum level, of spacetime itself.

But even if they weren't physical, you'd be making a warrantless leap from non-physical to "spiritual".

Scientists do not say that dark matter and dark energy are not physical.  They don't say what they are.  There is a world of a difference there.

No.

Dark matter and dark energy

IF they exist

ARE most certainly "physical".

If they were not

then scientists would have NO reason to believe that they might exist.

I don't think so.  We know very little about the dynamics of dark matter and energy.  The significance of it's discovery is still largely lost upon us, and about all we know is 'that it's there'.  The idea that it implies evidence of a spirituality reality is an assumption, and at best suggests that we cannot rule it out as a possibility.

The scientific method is a rigorous process, and is very careful about the wording of it's definitions.  The leap to calling the universe 'spiritual' isn't very scientific, or spiritual at all.  The fact that the finite, tangible matter and energy make up a marginal percentage of the total universe would mean that the universe is mostly, 'nonphysical', which doesn't inherently mean, "spiritual".  The spiritual world is beyond the domain of scientific experimentation, and does not need the material sciences to validate it.  The spiritual view does not deny a physical reality, or the significance of the scientific method, but points out that they exist within limited parameters.  Spirituality is not about "proving" or providing "evidence" for a 'this-and-that', 'here-and-there', 'now-and-then'.  The mainstream of science assumes the universe is physical because the maintain the linear paradigm of Newtonian dynamics.  The discovery of the subatomic universe, in the 20th century defies the materialist's view, and has yet to be accepted by the mainstream.  Quantum Physics is probably our best model for a threshold between the physical world and nonphysical world.

Yes, and God operates through the dark web . . . .

That is very possible..
