Do you see the dancer turning clockwise, anti-clockwise or both ways. Just curious. Not sure how valid this test is scientifically but interesting non the less.

Maybe I'm not "getting it" but it seems to depend on an imagined point of view. If you rotate her so her head is closest to you she is turning couter clockwise. With her feet pointing towards you she turns clockwise.

I don't understand what this has to do with right brain vs. left brain. I guess I don't "get it," which is apparently a right brain function.

Edit: Oh, they mean left or right. Using the term clockwise was a bit confusing. Interesting illusion. With concentration you can make her go either direction.

I mostly saw her going left (counterclockwise, or widdershins to use an archaic word) but would occasionally see moments where she seemed to reverse. I do have to say that I'm not sure how much weight to put in neuropsychological testing done by animated GIF, as well.

Also, completely beside the point, did anyone else notice that the dancer appears to be nude and in a fairly chilly room, judging from her anatomy, and that it was quite an admirable anatomy, at that?

Just sayin'...

mostly clockwise... although on occasion I would glance her stopping and going the other way

so I am more right brained than left ... although have been tested as balanced at times

but I would say this is pretty accurate though

I do use my right more

edit

if I squint a certain way .... looking from left to right

she changes direction

I don't know what this means but when I first looked at it, she was turning counterclockwise, but when I looked again, she was turning clockwise.

I looked a final time and she was back to counterclockwise.

I'm atheist, but I'm thinking I should change to agnostic since I'm not sure which way she was turning ;).

Both ways! It changes every time I blink :-) Kind of goes with what I do - I'm a computer geek, but I'm also a musician and an artist.

Very cool...

I saw her going clockwise - by concentrating on the shadow of her foot - I was able to see her go counterclockwise. Thanks - that was great fun ♥

It keeps changing directions every time I look at it lol

Umm...I see her doing backwards somersaults.

I didn't see any reference to a reverence for prime numbers, nor an inordinate and inexplicable fear of rectangles listed as traits.

I can make her spin either way. Does that make me a god?

It switches on it's own every minute or so.
