Can both really work??

Question

Well, in light of a couple or question today, and a couple of answers, I figured I would pose this question.

First, in an earlier answer, a christian eluded to the belief that Freemasonry was linked to satan, paganism, the occult, and sorcery. And, according to this same answer, christians, at least "true ones" would not want to be associated with this organization.

Now, another question made the statement that the founding fathers of this country intended to build a christian nation.

Now, it is a known fact most of the founding fathers were Freemasons.

So, are we really supposed to believe that a group of men with ties to, basically, the occult, intended on building a christian nation?

Just wondered, cause that kind of strikes me as odd.

I am a Freemason. Those people that think freemasonry is evil think anyone that does not believe what they believe is evil. Freemasonry accepts all religions they have twisted this into an evil thing.



When is comes to word like occult and pagan. Just look up the definition.

--Occult----Available only to the initiate

yes there are other meaning to the word but that is the only one that applies to freemasonry

---Pagan---One who has no religion

---A non-Christian

---One who is not a Christian, Muslim, or Jew



So in some sense people who use these words to describe masonry can't be sued for slander. But than the boy scouts, girl scouts, all branches of the armed forces , the police, firefighters and all other college fraternities are also pagan and occult organizations

Obviously alot of Christians have been mislead about the founding fathers, Evidently, from what I've learned since I've been online, what I was taught in school about our founding fathers was a lood of bullocks.

I have no problem believing that most politicians are free masons. Of course, my definition of politics is probably not the same as yours...

Did the founding fathers "intend" to build a Christian nation? No, they were simply building on what was already here. Easier to coddle the Christians who came here looking for religious freedom than to argue about it, I'd say.

And it worked for them, didn't it? It got them what they wanted...money, power, slaves, women, etc....

And it is still working today.

That is the way I see it. I don't mean to offend anyone.

There, now, that absolves me from any offense.

Yes, this person is not very bright. I think suggesting that Satanists build a Christian nation. Is just as rational as the 9/11 conspiracy theory. So sad that people who can actually read can believe such stupid things.....

Yep, and a great many of them were deists and unitarians, not theists. But the Christians refuse to crack a history book TOO. Don't want to allow any facts to get in the way of a good myth.

Freemasonry has fooled many good men into beliving it is O.K. while at the same time leading them to bow down to unknown gods. I doubt your statement that most of the founding fathers were masons.
