The Antichrist is not one man it's that group of people that are doing wicked like you just described. And the point of this whole mess is for people to separate themselves just like they did back in the time of Moses and the man called Kora. When Moses called to the people and said who is for Jehovah come stand over here who is for Kora come and stand over here. When it comes time for God to call an end to this war between Good and evil and it's time for the wicked to die. The wicked will have marked themselves! And the righteous will have marked themselves. There won't be any doubt the Angels won't have to go about deciding who lives and who dies. Man will have already done that for themselves! And the angels will only be here to remove the wicked leaving behind the righteous to possess the Earth exactly like the Bible says.

I 100% believe the stages are being set for the Antichrist. The world is in an uproar and chaos is everywhere. Our entire world is divided and look at how big politics has become in the last 4 years.. never EVER has politics divided this many people and been so big.

The world is going to look for a savior and if you look back in history when a country is in chaos and broken.. looking for a savior It leaves room for very very bad people to come into office. (Hitler with Germany).

All the people who are sheep to the media will

Be the FIRST to fall to the Antichrist because the media will glamorize them to the fullest.

People can dislike my comment and say I’m wrong.. but watch. Just watch in a few years you’ll see everything I’m saying is truth. They say if you don’t study history you are bound to repeat it, people forget the Bible is thee most accurate history book their is.. and our world is really looking like sodom and gommoarrah.. only a matter of time before Gods wrath unfolds.

For centuries now, the religious have been using the identical scripture to "prove" the end times are near.

How's that been working for you?

All of that trash is nothing but fear mongering from religious nutters like the jehovahh's witnesses.

The world is in a far better place than it was when that bible book was written

Enjoy the only life you're going to get or moan and groan about doom and gloom end times, like the jehovah's witnesses do.

That's not my problem.

Behind all preparations for the end-time Antichrist is an Entity with seven heads and ten horns - perfect, diversified mental and administrative capacity and complete, diversified administrative power. But more than this symbolic (and invisible entity) is a second 'beast' that will have two horns like a lamb. This corporate alternative to Christ and his Church will make an image (an illusory mis-representation) of the sea-beast, and will demand worship to it. Yes, more is to come, increasingly, until Armageddon ends it all, as the book of Revelation shows, in highly symbolic language.

We do not need to concentrate on growing evil and deceptions in our world today. There has always been such, in every generation, to varying degrees. We need to know the REAL Christ, so that we will not be deceived by any anti-Christ influences in our day. Back in the first century A.D. anti-Christ influences were already at work, trying to corrupt the Christian church, and we see exactly the same corrosive seepage into the church today. That is because many who claim to be Christians do not know the Christ of scripture - they have been lured away with a false Christ, a false prophet, and they pay little attention to the words of Christ.

Jesus warned that, before He returns to deal with this supreme Antichrist, many will be led into symbolic deserts or inner rooms with the lie that they will 'see' Christ there. No. Jesus said that when He returns, it will be as lightning flashing from east to west, and everyone will see, without doubt (Mat. 24:23-27). He will return unexpectedly, gloriously, but it will be too late for people who have not put their faith in the Jesus of scripture before then.

That is why Christians must be salt and light in a corrupting, sin-darkened world. They must live in purity, for Christ, and point to Christ as the Light of the world. As Daniel was told, at the time of the end, many will be purified and tried, but the wicked shall do wickedly, and none of the wicked shall understand. (12:9-13) Our preparation is to stand on the Rock, Jesus Christ, and to build our faith on Him, our eyes fixed firmly on Him (Hebrews 12:2).

The world is getting worse because of:

1) climate change, pollutions warming the green house gases

2) while melting away the glaciers, and opening perma-frost, causing even warmer weather and increased ocean levels.

3) Nature has a time for everything, so that there are plenitude of natural catastrophes that occur NATURALLY not by some deity doing them.

4) The ecosytem dying because we are stuffing all our plastic into the oceans and the living things THEREOF!

Preachers have been saying that we're in the last days for centuries now. The prophecies are vague enough that they can be fitted into any world situation, any time.

There has never been a time in history with that passage hasn't been true. Read about the past. Study history. Don't just listen to preachers with an agenda. Educate yourself.

We live 85 years. Our ancient brothers maybe lived 35 years. In biblical times there were maybe 1 billion people on earth, soon we’ll number 8 billion.

In the last 80 years alone we’ve had the quantum revolution, the biomedical revolution and the computer revolution. Truely a golden age.

No. People are just being people. We've always had crime and conflict. I wish I had £1 for every claim that the world was about to end.

No. It’s getting worse because what Jesus said 2 centuries ago. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, In Bible prophecy, “last days” or comparable expressions such as “final part of the days” were used to designate a time when events of history culminate. The content of the prophecy fixes the starting point of the “final part of the days” when the foretold events would begin to occur. Those living at the time of the prophecy’s fulfillment could therefore be spoken of as living in the “last days” or the “final part of the days.” Depending upon the nature of the prophecy, this may be a period covering just a few years or many and can apply to widely separated time periods.

The Bible uses the expression “last days” to refer to the concluding time period leading up to a divinely appointed execution that marks the end of a system of things. The Jewish system with its worship built around the temple in Jerusalem experienced its last days from 33 to 70 C.E. What occurred then was pictorial of what would be experienced in a greatly intensified way and on a global scale at a time when all nations would be facing the execution of judgment decreed by God. The present wicked system of things, which extends worldwide, entered its last days in 1914, and some of the generation alive then will also be on hand to witness its complete end in the “great tribulation.”

Why does God allow so much time to pass before destroying the wicked?

2 Pet. 3:9: “Jehovah is not slow respecting his promise, as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with you because he does not desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance.”

Mark 13:10: “In all the nations the good news has to be preached first.”

Matt. 25:31, 32, 46: “When the Son of man [Jesus Christ] arrives in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit down on his glorious throne. And all the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate people one from another, just as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. And these [who fail to recognize Christ’s spiritual brothers as representatives of the King himself] will depart into everlasting cutting-off, but the righteous ones into everlasting life.”

The abomination of desolation in Matthew 24:15

"When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation,

spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)"

is speaking of the Antichrist. The Antichrist will "stand in the holy place",

the Temple in Jerusalem stating that he is god.

In this world we see more evil and corruption due to the Great Apostasy, which means the Falling Away.

People are falling away from God and the truth of God's Word the Bible and that will set them up

to believe the lies of the Antichrist. Yes, the it is a sign that we are in the end times and

the preparation for the Antichrist is underway.

1 Timothy 4:1 - Now the Spirit speaketh expressly,

that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith,

giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

2 Timothy 3

1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers,

disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce,

despisers of those that are good,

4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

While physically the things in the world seem to get better,

in that many people don't have to work so hard, due to development

of technology.

It has a lot of drawbacks however.

Industry is polluting the world, so it seems every year,

the number of natural catastrophes is increasing.

The number of mass murders is increasing.

In this year the number of floods and hail strikes was very high,

while the weather is constantly going from one extreme to another,

either too hot or too cold, which was not present even 20 years ago,

when the change was more gradual.

Those verses in Timothy are true, it can be evidently seen in yahoo answers

and other places in internet, which due to lack of direct contact between

people and bad moderation by computer programs, lead to growth of asocial

conduct - hate, people using anonymous to say what they would not do in person,

blaspheming God and Christ, lying and harassing others, daily coming to

unload hate and vile words on each other, while others get mentally ill

and repeat the same questions or post something barely coherent for attention.

Unfortunately the internet and somewhat comfortable life, can make even

Christians lazy and weak in faith, even with the presence of Christian sites

and information is purely moderated with lots of lies and false teachers,

that's why it is easy to isolate yourself, instead of being part of the church

of Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, and this leads to bad conduct in people,

even if thinking they are Christians, but lacking His love and peace.

Yes, while Christ's power is uniting the world more and undoing the curse of sin,

still at the same time the sin and darkness are growing, since due to the

human technology evil can have wider influence too.

As a person answered below the apostle John was warning people about an antichrist, though there are multiple antichrists, that is false prophets

pretending to be Christ, but bringing evil fruits, rather than goodness of God.

Antichrists try to add lies to the Christian teaching, for example in the past,

they denied that Jesus was really Son of God, or that He only appeared to be

human - to reject His crucifixion and so the payment for sin of the world.

Though in the Bible the final antichrist revealed previously partially in the

figures like Antiochus Epiphanes, who captured Jerusalem, defiled the temple,

and tried to force worshipers of God to reject His law and trying to put himself

as a god.

The same is happenning more and more in history, with figures like

Muhammad, Napoleon, Lenin, Stalin, Hitler all trying to replace Jesus Christ with

themselves, and promoting worship of themselves and the empires (the beast) they

spread, while persecuting Christians.

The final antichrist will have global power, and so will attempt to do the

same thing on global scale - closing churches, forcing people to worship him

and his empire and take the mark of the beast, to join his army for food,

otherwise executing them.

Only then after 3.5 years Jesus will return and will destroy him and his kingdom.

I hope i answered your question, but only God and His son Jesus Christ has the full truth about it.

Yes, definitely. Jude's prophecy is being fulfilled. Worst of all, the illegal immigration mess is a fulfillment of Jeremiah 51:7 (KJV).

Honestly, that passage is vague enough that it can be applied to all of human history.

And the Last Days are referred to the time after the time after Christ's resurrection, so humanity has been in the Last Days for 2000 years.

And the Antichrist is just a term for people who oppose Christ and His teachings. There is no singular person with that title.

On average, for a long time now:

Crime is going down

War is going down

Life expectancy is going up

Infant mortality is going down

Average spending power is going up as is free time for hobbies etc

Not sure what makes you think 'the world is getting worse', probably religious scaremongering within your christian community

Antichrist

The Greek term has a twofold meaning. It refers to that which is anti, or opposed to, Christ. It may also refer to a false Christ, one in the place of Christ. All people, organizations, or groups that falsely claim to represent Christ or claim to be the Messiah or that oppose Christ and his disciples can properly be called antichrists.

1John 2:22.Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son.

The antichrist claim to be Christ or his representatives, they deviated from true Bible teachings. Furthermore, this group was present at the time when John wrote his letter, in “the last hour,” presumably the end of the time of the apostles.

What else did John write about the antichrist? Speaking about false prophets, he warned: “Every inspired statement that acknowledges Jesus Christ as having come in the flesh originates with God. But every inspired statement that does not acknowledge Jesus does not originate with God. Furthermore, this is the antichrist’s inspired statement that you have heard was coming, and now it is already in the world.” (1 John 4:2, 3) Then, in his second letter, John reiterated this point: “Many deceivers have gone out into the world, those not acknowledging Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist.” (2 John 7) Clearly, John understood the antichrist to be all who deliberately spread religious deception about Jesus Christ and Jesus’ teachings

Christians have been living in the End Times/Last Days, seeing things getting worse and Bible prophecies fulfilled for thousands of years. Fortunately none of that is actually true.

"The Bible says we are living in the End Times/Last Days"

Boolshit.

It was writing about Rome 2000 years ago.

"A lot of biblical prophecy has to be fulfilled before Jesus returns"

Nonsense...

The Jews are still waiting for their messiah....

The Jews wrote the rules for their Messiah.

Saul-Paul wrote his stuff so that his bloke fit different parts of the prophesy...

BUT he missed a few.

Following is a list of stuff the Messiah had to fulfil in his own lifetime.

Jebus failed the test… no second chances.

* He will include and attract people from all cultures and nations (Isaiah 11:10)

* All Israelites will be returned to their homeland (Isaiah 11:12)

* Death will be swallowed up forever (Isaiah 25:8)

* There will be no more hunger or illness, and death will cease (Isaiah 25:8)

* All of the dead will rise again (Isaiah 26:19)

* The Jewish people will experience eternal joy and gladness (Isaiah 51:11)

* He will be a messenger of peace (Isaiah 52:7)

* Nations will end up recognizing the wrongs they did to Israel (Isaiah 52:13-53:5)

* The peoples of the world will turn to the Jews for spiritual guidance (Zechariah 8:23)

* The ruined cities of Israel will be restored (Ezekiel 16:55)

* Weapons of war will be destroyed (Ezekiel 39:9)

* The Temple will be rebuilt (Ezekiel 40) resuming many of the suspended mitzvot
