Scientology and Freemasonry at thier core are not very compatable. Niether organization has ever been related. Freemasonry lets the individual determine the design of his own creation, as a fraternity and not a religion it is open to anyone professing the belief in a single god or "supreme being" Scientology is the absence of a creation or a creator, and does not endorse the idea of a single god creating the world or the people in it.
One must also remember athiests are not endorsed for regular masonic membership. Or membership in a lodge that is in amity with the United Grand Lodge of England. Freemasonry as a fraternity and not a religion also does not consume the persons life, We do not tell our members in Freemasonry they have to fork over large sums of money to thier lodge, in many cases members pay a modest fee in annual dues, much like any organization and the money goes to any number of the charitable organizations created and funded soley on masonic lodge proceeds. (Childrens Home, Shrine Burn Centers etc)
Freemasonry also endorses freethinking, open to many ideas brought on by such a large demographic of members. We do not dictate to anyone "this is what you will believe" it is contary to making everyone in the lodge feel included, regardless of thier religion. Scientology IS a religion and dictates its beliefs to its membership. Freemasonry is very much otherwise.
Aleister Crowley never was a Freemason. His pictures of him in masonic regailia was to defame the establishment of the fraternity in Great Britian. Regalia can be bought at any masonic shop, but like anything else it doesnt mean anything unless you have earned it. The pictures of him wearing the hat of a 33rd Degree is more a slight on many good men who have spent long hours in service to thier fellow man who have tirelessly labored for the betterment of humanity. It didnt have any more meaning to Crowley than if he put a jesters cap on and took the same picture.
I think this whole question is more of a trial and error. What I suggest you do is read legitimate novels and historical accounts on Freemasonry. These are available at any reputable library (including the library of congress) before making veiled questions like the aforementioned. Any reasonable person given the level of attention to Freemasonry in recent years would be able to determine for themselves that there is no relationship in any way,
