Regarding Q2.. your assumption is absolutely correct.

The problem with 'christians', particularly 'christians' in the USA, is that they don't get out of the trailer park much, so they don't know there are people in the world who don't share their absurd beliefs.

Rene is a good example. He is convinced his 'god' is the only 'god' and the right 'god' and everyone else in the world is wrong... and he does so without evidence. He thinks belief is sufficient.

Q1 - I might be sinning according to a Hindu, but I have studied their religion and I regard it as false.

Q2 - I do not know what sinning against Christianity even means. One may sin against God, but that it not a matter of hamburgers.

Q3 - What is the contradiction?

Its my organization theory that each and each deity is the comparable and the folk who created the religion defined it interior the main effectual way they might. seem at each and all the religions that have been around for hundreds of years. just about them each and all the comparable thought. interior the previous testomony of the christian bible it replaced right into a sin to consume meat from animals that had hooves and beaks and forked feet. it replaced right into a sin as a results of fact hundreds of years in the past suited cooking recommendations have been unparalleled and human beings died from it. Then God despatched messengers that reported its okay to consume on the grounds which you have this complete cooking element down. regrettably Gods freedoms he gave us like making options interfered with the massive message. It did no longer unfold to different cultures like the unique message did. its the Hindu faith that encourages its human beings to no longer consume cows. It would not injury every physique to no longer consume cows. whether the hindu god is the almighty it incredibly is the reason I ask god no remember if it incredibly is a manbearpig or a chick with eleventeen palms for forgiveness. Hindus can consume burgers at mcdonalds. Im exceptionally advantageous those issues are actually not pork. For every physique desirous to ascertain the place we are able to no longer consume particular animals interior the bible flow to leviticus financial disaster 11 and Deuteronomy 14

1. You are correct in your assumption: no, I am not sinning. If I knew my eating the hamburger in front of someone offends him or her, I would not do so. Perhaps the person is a vegetarian or, as you say, their personal spiritual beliefs forbid the eating of meat. I live Matthew 22:37-40, which is God spiritual law of love towards Him, others and self.

2. No, I would not tell a person who does not believe like I do that they sin against my belief. If God leads me to, though, I would say that they sin against Him.

Your assumption regarding my intelligence is unfounded.

3. I haven't avoided your question. There is zero contradiction, and it is evident from my response.

Hinduism believes in 30+ gods. Which one do you think we would be offending? In the past fifty years, millions of meat-eaters -- Hindus and non-Hindus -- have made the personal decision to stop eating the flesh of other creatures. Besides being an expression of compassion for animals, vegetarianism is followed for ecological and health rationales. There are Hindu's who eat meat and it is not a sin. In fact they do not believe in "sin".

As a Christian and and Jewish I eat kosher meat. Meaning it has been prepared in a certain way. I do not sin against anything when I do this. And you can not sin against a religion. You do not sin against Hinduism or Christianity. You sin only against God. That is what sin is. Breaking God's rules. Not mans. Missing His mark of perfection. That is the only person I am truly concerned about sinning against. And if I do not sin against Him I will not do others harm.

Also being part Native American and being exposed to this culture I have great respect for the earth and all of God's creatures. One of the problems with meat eating is the culture we have created with slaughter houses. They treat the animals horrible. The are slaughtered in a horrible manner. I do not have a farm where I can do it for myself as my G-Paw did but I can buy kosher and local. Native Americans believe that you take only what you will eat, no more. And use all the animal so it is not a waist of life. The animal gives its life for us. My G-Paw would compare it to Christ giving His life for us.(Yes many, many Native Americans are Christian. Check out www.wiconi.com) He used every opportunity to teach in all he did. Talking about him has got me missing him. He was a great man.

Well, this is my view and how I see it.

They're definitely not very bright based on the answers here. They fail to realize that non-Christians DO NOT BELIEVE in their concept of god or whatever. Yet Christians keep making the assumption that their god is the creator of all things.....

1 no because I'm not a Hindu.

2.I don't tell people they are sinning against Christianity, the religion. They are sinning against God, the Creator of all things.

Christianity is of the, "we're right and everyone else is wrong" camp.

Every non-Christian religion, in their eyes, is Satanic.
