I am very suicidal and depressed
and I am starting to just let the depression
slowly swallow my heart whole like a boa
constrictor does a rabbit....I dont know anymore
I hate my life so much.....ill just quit talking here
i know u guys prollyudont wanna listen to all that
negative talk..anyway....

Depression is a killer, Let me tell you one of my personal stories this year in March my sister commited suicide. It was very shocking to me Why? Because she was a christian. I am thinking to myself. Why would any christian commit suicide. But she did. I still don't undertstand why she did what she did. But remember God is just as real as satan is. I however do know that. Satan puts tricks in your mind. To kill yourself and that God doesn't exist. Its all lies. Dont you know that you have the victory already to overcome depression. God is on your side. So whatever your going through its not over.I know the odds are stacked against you

And it seems there's no way out I know the issue seems unchangeable And that there's no reason to shout But the impossible

is God's chance To work a miracle,So just know it ain't over untill God says it over keep fighting untill your victory is won. He never said it would be easy

But you're a winner in the end Jesus defeated all your enemies Way before the fight began But the impossible is God's chance

To work a miracle. When you don't know what to do,

If u get past the feeling sorry for yourself you'll probably just be depressed ..maybe that's the same thing as well ..My suggestion is baby steps .better yet small steps that build positive habits .. you're probably down on yourself for a good reason . So what happens next ?.. you seek gods face and lear from what is here and now .. in this and go on ... no onbe feels sorry for you at 18 .. most people are jealous of your age at least .. lots of things will come and go but the solid is the lord . that's his peace ...and his ever present grace and mercy ... Even if he lifts his hand and lets us temporarily get what we deserve , he always comes and offers more than sufficent grace ... consider how amazingly kind he is to us and how comfortable our lives are compared to what hell they could be apart from his care for us.. revelations talks about scorpions that sting and sting with their powerful tails .. we are brought to tears over pesky mostuito's and ants ruin our picnics or flies invade our homes ... a few bugs could drive us totally mad ... instead we lay in peace basking in the sunlight letting the day slowly roll on as the children play ..

sounds like your slowing giving up on yourself man. if you have faith, if you dont have faith, if you pray, if you dont pray, whatever, its not going to matter right now because your hurting, and suicide is just like the ultimate Tylenol, shut it off and take the pain away. its hard to explain to someone in your mental state that there really is a reason to wake up every morning. the hard part is, you have to figure out what that something is. and sometimes, that something wont always be there for you like you want it to, and some days are better than others. but noting is ever going to replace your life. no matter how shitty life can seem.

but if you can go through these hard times and still believe you've obviously not given up on him and your religion states that he loves you and would never give up on you. it sounds like it's just a personal problem that yo yourself need to deal with. don't just depend on a higher power to solve all of your problems. you can't do that you have to be strong and face your problems head on. i had the same problem before i just gave up on the idea of religion. But i recommend you talk to a friend or family member someone you know will either be sympathetic or empathetic. prayer won't be a miracle cure for depression, that's a mental thing it either needs to be talked out or medicated, whichever helps better, but don't kill yourself your hurt your family and friends more than you know.

You search for meaning in a religion that has none. Forget about faith or beliefs, just research and find what makes you happy whatever it is and never let anyone dictate what you belief or do. Life has been given to you to do with what you will don't get caught up on morality just do whatever it takes to make you happy. Don't go chasing after gods because that will only make it worse for you. God hasn't given up on you because no god has control of you, you don't need faith anymore. Forget all about gods and live.

instead of looking at it as suicidal, look at it as thats just who u r. u arent the happiest person in the world, sometimes u might want to rebel and do stupid things u know u will regret later, its OK. everyone goes through this. it isnt a matter of god, there r people out there in the world that deal with this everyday and they turn out fine, many successful bands do this kind of stuff, im not encouraging, try to stay away from they drugs and stuff, but if u dont always feel 100% optimistic, its ok. this is totally normal!!

Kid, you're only 18. You have plenty of life left to turn it around. But part of it has to come from you too, you know. Things can't change on their own unless you want it to be better.



People stuck in depression sometimes seem all too "happy" to wallow in it, but it's a fake happiness. (Been there, done that, done with it, don't want to go back.)



Get the therapy and whatnot you need, please. Don't waste your life. Hope you feel better soon.
