Question:
Does ignore the prayers of hungry children?
2016-01-22 18:34:55 UTC
God once rained magic bread from the sky, this kid is eating garbage off the the ground. I'm not a nutritionist but I think that magic bread is better than garbage.

Why doesn't god rain magic bread to feed the millions of starving children, or was that a one time deal?

:( No God does not ignore the prayers of hungry children. At Psalms 65:2, God is given the title, Hearer of Prayer. Does our heavenly father hear the outcries of the afflicted, of course he does! He looks down at the earth with great sorrow, as life as we know it is far from his original plan. I sense a deeper question within the one you asked. That of, why doesn't God do anything about the suffering that is experienced world-wide. I'm not sure if you know already, but God has already taken the first step to permanently ridding the world of suffering. When he sent his son Christ Jesus to die for our sins, he set the ground work for a life without pain and sorrow. Gods Kingdom, with Jesus as King, will soon undue the effects of this present system of things. When will this Kingdom come? No one, but the father knows the date or time. It is also good to remember that a thousand years is but a day in God's eyes. However, how long we have to wait for God's Kingdom is not as important as what we do while we wait for it. Now is the time to individually prove that we support God's sovereignty.

Does who ignore the prayers of hungry children?

Im guessing this is another feeble attempt to blame God for all the negativity and pain in the world. This pain exists because mankind is unwilling to share their resources with the less fortunate.

I would point out here that Christians, those who take Gods name do far more for these starving children then anyone else so yes, God does care.

What The Bible Says

The Evil One controls the whole world.”—1 John 5:19.

“The Son of God came . . . to destroy the devil’s work.”—1 John 3:8, New Century Version

What That Can Mean For You

Logical explanations for the world’s problems.—Revelation 12:12.

Reason to believe that our world will change for the better.—1 John 2:17.

Satan’s rulership is doomed. Jehovah is determined to bring Satan’s control over mankind to an end. He promises to “bring to nothing . . . the Devil” and undo all the damage that Satan has caused.—Hebrews 2:14, New World Translation.

God has chosen Jesus Christ to rule the world. Jesus is the complete opposite of this world’s present cruel, selfish ruler. Concerning Jesus’ kingship, God promises: “He will have pity on the lowly and the poor . . . From oppression and from violence he will rescue them.”—Psalm 72:13, 14.

God cannot lie. The Bible plainly states: “It is impossible for God to lie.” (Hebrews 6:18) When Jehovah promises to do something, it is as good as done! (Isaiah 55:10, 11) “The ruler of this world will be cast out.”—John 12:31.

This little boy and others like him are starving not because of God but because of the selfishness of so many other human beings; specifically the wealthy class of the world..These people have enough wealth to solve hunger almost overnight. Yet they sit on their money, keeping it all for themselves. So if you are really serious about ending hunger then let's confiscate the wealth of people like Donald Trump or the Bush family or the Clintons and feed the poor and hungry. And if the rich want to fight about it, then we can just kill them all in the process. The world will be better of without them.

God answers prayers by spiritually leading believers to provide whart is requested. Manna (magic bread) rained down for God's people because all the food was under the control of non-believers. Believers had no food to share, so God provided. Now, there are plenty of believers, so God calls us to share what/when we can.

Just because God doesn't respond immediately doesn't mean that he is ignoring the situation (1Peter 3:12). Jehovah always has an appointed time to handle matters of importance (Ecc. 3:1, 2). Just like a child may have to wait for a problem to be addressed. He may be hungry or sleepy, but the parent or guardian may have to tend to something else or may want the child to learn that they may not always get what they want when they want it.

In this case, Jehovah is allowing man to rule themselves and handle their own issues. Yes, the reason for us having our own "earthly" governments dates way back and is explained quite clearly in the bible. Satan challenged Jehovah's right to govern mankind whom he created. Therefore, Jehovah allowed Satan to try and prove his accusation to be true by allowing him to govern mankind and what we've experienced in the past and what we're experiencing now is a result of Satan attempting to prove Jehovah wrong. Unfortunately, Satan isn't loving like Jehovah is, so he has caused and allowed situations where mankind suffers from poverty and starvation because he is a wicked being and doesn't care.

But as the bible states, these types of things are soon to be no more (Psalm 37:10, 11). It also reminds us that Jehovah God does care for us even now and teaches us how to cope with situations today so that we can benefit ourselves.

You may find comfort in reading 1 Peter 5:6, 7 and Psalm 72:16.

Why do ignorant self claimed intelligent people continue to ask such a ridiculous question

FIRST the ENTIRE WORLD is full of Food to eat, water to drink, and it is NOT hard to find

they portray sick and dying kids on TV to make a buck from people who feel sorry for them...when they get that Money they use it for themselves...and for what they do send around the world, it rots, Governments use it and those they claim need it still never get it.

UNICEF sent billions of dollars worth of things to Iraq for many years...after the Iraq war they found ALL of those UNICEF packages in the Castles of Saddam Hussein and his sons.

There have been reports of tons of food such as rice -flour etc etc setting in warehouses and docks rotting away...and yet here you set healthy and feeding your face and complain because "God" does nothing about it ?

Have you not heard the saying, " give a man a fish he will eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime"

The World is surrounded by water and yet people complain they are thirsty

Africa is lush and green 90-95% of it and yet all you see is desert and people filming African's starving or dying?

Look at the refugee's many have been contacting the Western Media whining...yet they have phone service/internet....?

our Government wants to expand background checks to American citizens who wish to buy a gun, and yet refuse to even seek to learn what the so called refugee's are legit or terrorists...is that Gods fault to ?

facts are many place themselves in the situation they are because they refuse to Believe and obey the Word of God.....and they want to blame everyone else for their plight.....

anyone can dig in the dirt and plant potatoes-carrots-whatever....and even dig wells of water.....

the fact is YOU are to blame for those who refuse to help themselves...YOU want everyone to hand and give and do nothing yourself...and then when it does not work out...Blame God !!!

God gave us EVERYTHING we could ever need in this life.....if YOU refuse to accept that, then that is YOUR Fault.

I just answered another question like this. Since both questions are posed by anonymous users, it is impossible to know if you are the same. Look at that question for an answer.

Why are you guys scared of showing yourself? However, once a legitimate answer has been gotten, continuing asking this is not what I consider rational. Of course, you may not feel you have gotten an answer.

I believe in reincarnation, what you do in one life may affect your next. For example, an abusive father may comeback as a child who is abused so when they return to the spirit world they fully understand the pain they caused during the lifetime before that. Karma is inevitable.

God usually answers prayers through other people. I believe that there are many children who are surrounded by His Peace and Love, in ways that we do not know about. I pray for those who I cannot help. And I know He reaches many through Godly people. I good question is, Why can't we do what Mother Theresa did, and devote our lives to serving others that are suffering? We all must do our best, and pray that God will bring help to everyone and pray pray pray for those we cannot see who are suffering and that God will guide someone to them.

It our responsibility as human beings to make sure no one goes hungry...not Gods! We have free will and choose our actions whether they are good or bad and sadly greed is usually the choice we make! People are always trying to blame God for our own human shortcomings! It is a lot easier to blame him instead of accepting personal accountability.

Magic bread rain. hmmm. Well. We humans are the worst of all creatures in this world. Have u seen a crow eating?. if it sees a food, it calls down all other crows and shares the food. They dont store it for next year to eat. The ants store foods to eat in rainy season where it cant go out to fetch food. But we humans, if we have something, we have it for ourself. We keep earning money and deposit in banks to say i am rich and u r poor. We evaluate other humans thru bank balance and not by their mind and heart.

God gave us brain and also 6th sense. if we cant use it, he created alot of other animals from whom we can learn from. unfortunately we follow wrong statics from them. ants store food, they dont have separate storage area for every single ant. Its stored in bulk and they dont mind who eats more or less. They keep going along with nature till death.

So what i mean is, God wont shower the bread. We ( who has it) have to share it. It doesnt meant God is not there.. It means HE is watching us

Is it because people are too greedy to help them and therefore he would rather blame YOU for thier death and not give you observable proof of his existence? Please do not ask why the world is often a wretched place unless you ask who God is.

God is not in the business of feeding the hungry, that's why he made democrats.

It's difficult for imaginary beings to feed hungry children. It would be equally productive to ask the pixies to rain down their magical dust to feed the starving kids.

Biblical stories about magic bread would be more accurately labeled under "supernatural fiction."

God has a plan for all. And many of us have to suffer in this earthly life in order to life in His Kingdom forever. The Bible says that life will have trials and sorrows.

i think actually donating and taking action to directly help starving people is more efficient and quicker and realistic than praying :)

You don't understand god, that's the problem. God does not help to feed the starving children. That IS NOT what he's about. God is about finding lost car keys or run away kittens and scoring touchdowns.

Read the bible.

The sin of our first parents (Adam and Eve) brought about the fallen state of mankind. Humans are sinful because of their iniquity, sins bring curses and both iniquity and curses pass down the generations if they are not cleansed by the blood of Christ. Children are born with defects and suffer unfortunate circumstances because of curses due to their ancestors’ unrepented sins. Hereditary illness is an example of a curse. In the future, God will make a new Heaven and earth, and there will be no more suffering, sickness, sin, evil, old age or death. God’s people (those who accept His Son Jesus Christ as their Saviour and Lord) will joyfully and peacefully live in this new and perfect earth, with the Lord Jesus Christ as their King forever. See chapter 21 of the Book of Revelation.

Without God, the spiritual part of the human being is dead (Ephesians 2:5, Colossians 2:13). The sin of our first parents (Adam and Eve) caused the separation between God and man. Romans 6:23 says the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Sin causes us to be separated from God which results in spiritual death. Christ, the 2nd Person of the Triune Godhead was made flesh (through the immaculate conception) and paid the price for our sins by dying on the cross so we could through faith in Christ as our Saviour be instantly redeemed and united to God and have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit who teaches us, comforts us and grants us fruits to live in righteousness and gifts to help and edify the Church. There is no redemption or unity to God apart from receiving the Lord Jesus Christ as one’s Saviour and Lord.

The truth about Jesus Christ can be found only in the word of God which is the Holy Bible. Three days after the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, He resurrected from the dead (Luke 24:1-8; Acts 10:40; 1 Corinthians 15:4) and 40 days later, He ascended into Heaven (Acts 1:3; Luke 24:50-53; Acts 1:9-11).

1 Timothy 3:16

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.”

Jesus Christ is Lord over all:

Philippians 2:9-11

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

False doctrines claim that there are several paths to God. The word of God tells us that THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY TO GOD AND THIS IS THROUGH FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST AS ONE’S LORD AND SAVIOUR.

John 14:6

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 3:36

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him

The instant a person has faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as their Saviour, they receive salvation, redemption, unity to God and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

Iniquities (tendencies that cause one to sin) pass down the generation line (Numbers 14:18). After one accepts Lord Jesus as their Saviour, God forgives their sins as they truly repent and removes their iniquities (evil tendencies) in the transformation process which makes one more and more like Christ (2 Corinthians 3:18; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Titus 3:5; Hebrews 9:12-14). After genuinely accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as their Saviour, ALL sinners (alcoholics, liars, drug addicts, fornicators etc.) will be saved and transformed. Each believer is cleansed by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ and receives the infilling of the Holy Spirit who renews them.

REDEMPTION BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH

Because mankind is incapable of meeting God’s standard of perfection necessary to abide in God’s presence (Romans 3:19-20,23), God sent His Son Jesus Christ to pay the total debt for the believer’s sins and mercifully credits to his account Christ’s righteousness (Romans 3:21-28,5:1-11; 2 Corinthians 5:18-21). Jesus’ gracious act of atonement was complete and covers all sin (Colossians 2:13-14; 1 John 1:9). Salvation is not based on good deeds but according to the mercy of God (Titus 3:4-5). Believers are justified by faith; it is a gift by God’s grace (Romans 4:3-8; Ephesians 2:8-9). A true, living faith will result in a desire to live a holy, loving life of good works (Ephesians 2:10; Galatians 5:6; James 2:14-26), but failure to be absolutely successful at righteous living does not negate the believer’s justified status.

If you sincerely say this prayer, your sins will be washed away, you will be redeemed to God, be saved from eternal torment and inherit the Kingdom of God:

"Dear Jesus, I am a sinner. I repent of my sins. Please forgive me and save me by your shed blood. Come into my heart. I want to receive you as my own personal Lord and Savior. Amen"
