People who will not hogtie to the will of a tiny minority of people engaged in sodomy. People who will not bow at the alter of political correctness. People who stand for marriage as the Bible intended it. PEople who recognize that an unborn child is not some inconsequential clump of cells, but rather a living, breathing human being.

IS there anyone left in these United States who fit this description?

IS there anyone left in this country who will stand up for morality?

- Yes, most of us.

people engaged in sodomy.

- IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT DON'T DO IT. But you have no right to tell ANYONE what they can or cannot do.

People who will not bow at the alter of political correctness.

- IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT DON'T DO IT.

People who stand for marriage as the Bible intended it.

- YES, ABSOLUTELY YES, one man and 300 women and 700 concubines or one man his half sister and her maid or any women a man chooses to rape. Right out of the bible.

PEople who recognize that an unborn child is not some inconsequential clump of cells, but rather a living, breathing human being.

- Which is why 95% of all abortions are for fundies.

In the bible, marriages were arranged, and often polygamist. This lie that Christians like to tell about marriage in the bible is something everyone can see for themselves, just read the bible. It wasn't one man one woman in the bible. Adam and Eve may have been one man and one woman, but even they had to commit incest to populate the world. How is that for your morality.

And for that matter, you don't have a moral code from the bible, what you have is moral pronouncements that aren't really that moral as your god is an insanely jealous, murderous, misogynistic, slave holding, genocidal killer. If you think that because two men or two women love each other and want to live in a committed relationship with the same benefits as everyone is somehow a bad thing, then you have a problem.

"morality"...you keep saying that word but i don't think it means what you think it means...

I bow at the "altar" of proper grammar.

stand up against what? for what? To stop people from having butt sex in the privacy of their own home? To deny a woman the choice to abort should she be raped? To dictate who a complete stranger can unite with and love by this country's law?

None of these things are your business. That is why no one will stand up for these things. The crusades are over and there will be no more of this "join our cult or die" bs. Civilzation progressed, scientific methods improved and continue to still. Your tribal superstitions that you base your entire existence upon are being discontinued and there is nothing that you can do to stop it. Didn't your holy book tell you that this would happen near the end times???

~~~ From a religious Perspective (and a dictionary), 'morality' is judging people/stuff as 'good' or 'bad/evil'!
This is exact manifestation of the stolen Fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil (Sin of Pride/judgment) in the Garden!
As a Xtian (or any other religion), we are warned against 'judging' others;
"Judge not lest you be judged!"
Such judgment (good/evil) is the sin of 'pride'!
'Pride' is the only sin (from which all others spring), yet the hypocrites flaunt their practices, joyfully, proudly, in the face of their god!
You are told that;
"If you judge, judge with righteous judgment!"
Yet goes on to say that;
"None are righteous, no not one!"
It appears that only the belief infected would stand for the insinity morality!
Your immature and emotional argument means nothing!
Theonomists. They believe Mosaic Law never ended since Christ did not explicitly call an end to it, and thus we should put to death those who violate it. This includes blasphemers, idolators, homosexuals, etc. Theonomy is basically the only viable option that can reverse the damage already incurred, but the layman views such a position as too extreme and decides to let matters deteriorate further.
There is nothing moral about bigotry.
The fact that your religion has led millions to look down on an entire group of people for no good reason is proof of how immoral your religion is.
Morality is not hurting people.....gays do not. I don't believe in abortion but when one of my students became pregnant through gang rape, I arranged a termination.....she was threatening to kill herself ...she is a Catholic....because she thought of the foetus as a cancer growing inside her.....we must be flexible......Mo University Lecturer Atheist degrees in Theology Comparitive Religious Studies and Philosophy of Religion.
Unfortunately, there are still a few. But common sense and reason will eventually wipe them out. Intellectual version of survival of the fittest.
Yep.
There are still some of us who continue to preach the truth regardless of what the rainbow mafia says.
