What do Muslim Women look for in Muslim Men?

Question

I'm new to Islam and the person who teaching me about my new faith is telling me marriage is a big part of our religion. The problem is I don't know any Muslim women and what they look in a man. It would be great to hear from Muslim women who can tell me what they want in a man.

Long answer short. Knowledge and Faith in Islam. Money doesnt matter, materialism doesnt matter, as long as you know that this life is temporary and the hereafters eternal, if you have a clear understanding of that, and follow islam, and are a good person, thats all that matters.

Well, i'm a Muslim, also. Unfortunately, i'm not the right person to give you suggestions seeing that i'm not a woman. But i'll try to help. What a Muslim women looks for in a man is what any women looks for in a man. It depends where you are also, I guess. When I went to Lebanon for a month, I found that women there look at the status of the man: the family, who he is. Also, if the man can support a family. But somewhere in America is totally different. The women here are more independent, in my point of view. So basically, there isn't really anything different from what Muslim women look for and what any other women looks for. Especially in these times, because I find religion isn't as strong anymore.

well i'm a muslim woman,maybe i can help...for me what is important is that the man respect the other people especially older one..hoping for the man to accept the woman for who she is,can guide in religion,and most importantly is the man to have strong faith in islam..practice them instead of wearing the title only...bottomline is,all women are looking for a nice man doesn't matter what religion they are...so,hope this will help
