Why do some celebrities/performers wear cross necklaces that definitely aren't representing Christianity?

I've seen comedians on stage during rated R performances wearing a cross necklace and secular musicians singing racy songs wearing them as well.

I think they wear the cross because they really do believe that they are Christian..Only Jesus knows their heart but Jesus also said you can tell a lot about a Christian by their fruit, If we go by the fruit concept, they are not real Christians.I mean, how can they be? They are the Christians that make REAL Christians and Christianity look bad.. Any celebrity who swears the F word 100 times in his show, who walks around in their underwear simulating sexual acts, who is chasing "Fame and money", who is pro abortion, pro womans fem, pro homosexuality, pro world, is not being guided/inspired by the Holy Spirit. They wear the cross because they are confused, they follow their own version of Christianity. Look at beyonce, who has always spoken about her Christianity. her fruits are, suggestive clothing and sexual suggestive dancing and lyrics.. is that in any way Christian like? She talks about giving money to the poor, being a good Christian girl but her job is to parade half naked simulating sexual acts on stage and in her videos? What I don't understand is how people think this is ok.. how mothers let their 5 years old watch these types of videos... Scary.. ((END OF RANT))

I wear a cross on my wrist sometimes. It doesn't mean I'm religious, it means I like it because it's cool. And it's a cross. It doesn't have to mean anything other than that it's something pretty on a chain. That's all it means to a lot of people, so stop claiming it to belong to one group of people, because that isn't the case any more.

Because they know that their are blessings and gifts and graces that come from Jesus Christ for wearing them and they are smart enough to not pass those up,you can be enriched by exploring and discovering the many gifts of apparitions that God has sent for your spiritual guidance, enjoyment and enrichment, for as in gods Pieta Prayer book, great are the heavenly treasures within these gifts.

Pray the holy rosary for world peace and for all of Gods children to pray the holy rosary, and here is a blessing and our father prayed with a loving hug from Jesus Christ for all of gods children.

The crucifix existed before Christianity, just like swastika existed before the Nazi party. Different meanings for different people.
