Hi Everybody,

My Dad(61 years old) went in for a routine physical several months ago. His Dr. noticed something unusual that he thought needed closer scrutiny. My Dad's dr. referred him to a specialist. My Dad is being checked by a specialist this Monday March 10 at 10A.M. U.S. central time.(I live in the Minneapolis/St.Paul area). My Dad has dealt with this exact same thing before, and it turned out to be harmless. I'm sure everything will be fine, but I'm scared because my family has dealt with a lot of major health problems. Please pray that my Dad will be fine and that the dr. will be competent.

Also, A month ago I recovered from a long, ugly spiritual battle that lasted for several years. At the time, I had a very rusty relationship w/God. Fortunately, I'm a strong Christian again! Please also pray that my faith will never be attacked by Satan again, and that my relationship w/God will always remain strong regardless of what happens in my life.

Thanks and God Bless! John

It will be an honor to lift up you and your dad!

Father, we come before You and lift up John's dad. We thank You that it says in Your Word that we are healed by the stripes of Christ. We thank You that John's father will get a good report from the doctor. We stand on Your Word! We thank You that John's dad will be healthy and well. We thank You that You are giving the doctors wisdom and competence to diagnose correctly.

Father, we also lift up John! We thank You that You have equipped him with everything he needs to be victorious in every situation. Thank You that he will be able to withstand the attacks of the devil and that You have already given him the victory in battle. Thank You that he wants to draw close to You all the days of his life. Father, bless John as he seeks Your will for his life.We thank You that You are delivering him because You are a God who delivers Your people!

Let him give You praise even in the storms of life! We praise you and give you thanks.

In Jesus' name.............amen!

May the Lord bless you, John!

Can I answer even though I'm not Christian? *hopeful look* Well, I'm going to anyway. XD Okay, so I may not be religious, but that does Not mean I don't have morals. Everyone has their own set of ideals. If my dad ever said it's okay to watch porn with my (future, someday, whatever) husband, I would gape at him before running from the room screaming. My family is Christian, but I see that as besides the point here. A parent doesn't talk like that. If they are in that opinion they should keep it to themselves! Being agnostic, being a woman, I would NOT tolerate my spouse watching porn or fantasizing about other people. And I definitely would not watch it with him. I'd throw the damn computer through a window. ^.^ Also, I don't mean to offend here, but if your dad actually came out and said this to you...well, he sounds like someone who himself watches porn and is trying to make it sound okay. Perhaps he thinks that by telling you and getting you to believe so that it puts his actions in the right. Just something to think about...even though it's not pleasant. *grimaces*

I am so excited to know that God has strengthened you and you came out of the battle with joy and a closer relationship. You are being prepared for something important. I would love to pray for your dad, thank you for giving us the opportunity to be able to ask for God's help on his behalf. I know that he will be okay. Those longs battles can really take it out of a person, but we are thankful that God is still working on your life and will never let us go. He is on our side! Don't forget to put on your armor everyday.

I will be happy to pray for your father, as a matter of fact I have a doctor apointment at that same time on Monday, I will remember tolift your dad up while I am there. As for you how about I pray Paul's prayer for the Ephesians

Lord God, over my brother in Christ I pray:

I have not stopped giving thanks for you,

remembering you in my prayers.

I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ,

the glorious Father, may give you

the Spirit of wisdom and revelation,

so that you may know him better.

I pray also that the eyes

of your heart may be enlightened

in order that you may know the hope

to which he has called you,

the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,

and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms. Eph. 1:16-20

As Christians we will come under attack from the enemy, It tells us that in the Word. We are told to pick up your cross and follow me....In this world you will have troubles...Christ was tempted and He faced many trials and much misery before He was crucified. If He had to face that, we must realize that we too, will face difficulties. Be strong in the Lord.

John, consider it done, my friend. My God bless you and your family in abundance in EVERY area of your lives. Trust that He is in control of every situation regardless of what it looks like from our point. He has the entire picture and we only have a small part. We only see the now but He knows the future outcome and it is always bette than we expect fr ourselves.

God bless!!

You are a prodigal son and that surely helps your dad in his struggling now to see you back where you belong with the Lord. I will pray for your family and you because God is so good to us.
