Question:
What is with the Mormon (LDS) practice of "lying for the Lord"?

Is this why so many of them are not completely honest about Mormonism?

Whenever they talk about the Mormon faith and the LDS church, I always get the sense that they are being dishonest and are trying to be deceptive. Does Mormonism teach that it is not a sin to lie as long as it is used to protect the reputation of their organization or promote it?

--- When they tell half-truths, leaving out key pieces of information by being instructed that doing so is okay, because non-mormons are "kinda stooopid and slow, dontcha know." Outsiders won't "get it" if we give them both sides of the scoop, both the good and bad. Example: REAL LDS history those "anti-mormons" have warned them about all these years, only to have the church eventually is forced to admit that we---were right all along. Yet they shout we are the liars?

--- When they explain their doctrines then call them beliefs and not doctrines. What exactly is the difference? Yet their leaders call those exact same beliefs "doctrines" all the time. But that's okay, because that's just "personal opinions" of their leaders. Well, its their "personal opinion" that their doctrines are "beliefs" as well.

--- When we call their beliefs/doctrines "human traditions", and they disagree---only to have the LDS admit they are "human traditions".

--- When they answer questions with overt lies such as, "No, we don't get our own planets when we die". Apparently they get their own UNIVERSE to rule instead, so its perfectly fine to lie about not getting their own planet.

--- When they claim that "families are forever", yet deny those who haven't paid up tithes entrance into the wedding ceremonies of their own children by gulling those humiliated, lonely children into believing that its all "for the good" that those "forever families" cannot attend. All because of money. LDS lies are forever. Not LDS families.

--- When non-mormons quote their past leaders own conflicting statements to show the the gaping holes in mormonism, yet we have no right to quote them because "that was in the past". But when trying to prove their points they quote what their past leaders said from the same sources with great regularity. That's okay for them. Never for us. God, no. We "misinterpret" what they were saying. Every time? Yeah. Right.

--- When they believe, willingly--that blacks "were" cursed--even now--then attempt to demean those who call them racists at heart. Yet their church, in the year 2015, comes out and admits that the whole blacks are cursed thing was nothing more than a LIE. That known lie included their "forgiving" blacks---in 1978, too?? Yes. Pathetic. And it shows from the amount of thumbs down they get. But those don't matter. We are all passed off as "anti-mormons". That they think they can live with.

I could go on, but Y! only allows only so many characters per answer.

Remember the dance called The Twist? Named for mormon answers to questions about how clever their lies must become. If they lie to themselves, why would they ever worry about lying to others with the same level of mind-numbing audacity? Mormonism's definition is BASED on lying effectively enough so---they believe it. Nobody else believes them. So they must lie to themselves about that fact as well. The more mormons lie to themselves, the easier it becomes to lie to others. Just look at their answers to this question. Plain as day.

"Some things that are true are not very useful."

- Boyd K Packer, late president of the Mormon "quorum of the twelve apostles"

The primary goal is to convert people to Mormonism. Thus, the talking points are to focus on the positive, gloss-over or deny the negative, and spin, spin, spin. The ends justify the means.

But to be fair, the rank and file in the Mormon church don't know they're lying. They are simply parroting what they are told in Sunday School. Most of them can't be bothered to research the history and honestly face the many problems.

The church's leadership and apologists are a whole 'nuther story...
What, really?

I do have Mormon friends who don't believe in giving full disclosure of their beliefs, even when they are trying to persuade someone to convert to their religion... My friend has told me that they believe in giving "milk before meat" meaning that non-,mormons aren't capable of understanding the meatier portions of Mormon beliefs and theology, so they'd rather not divulge that information to them, until they can better digest it. And I was told that I wouldn't be able to understand certain complex things about Mormonism until after I received the Holy Ghost during Mormon baptism. Only after being baptized would I be able to understand the complexities (or inconsistencies and contradictions) of Mormonism. I never was baptized Mormon, so I'm sure Mormons think that must be my problem for not believing in Mormonism.

I think that Mormonism requires a gradual indoctrination while being fully incorporated and submersed into the culture, so that it (and the people) can influence you more, along with the indoctrination. If non-Mormons are presented with all the strangeness up front, they will probably reject it and won't be able to be pulled into the web for further indoctrination.

I have noticed that most Mormons (especially on the internet) seem to be very selective with their words and carefully phrase things or reconstruct them, in order to protect their beliefs and make them seem less bizarre and more palatable and more Christian-like. They seem to do a lot of lying like this and by omission. Maybe they are so used to it, that they aren't aware that it is a type of dishonesty.

But Mormonism is a religion that was and is built on lies, and I'm quite certain that most Mormons have to lie to themselves in order to believe in Mormonism and stay Mormon anyway, it's self deception and denial that, what you built your whole life around might be false.

They lie because they have been taught blind obedience to their prophet and the church; which is idolatry to God. Note the golden statue on every temple. Is this not much like the golden calf of idolatry? Did Christ baptize anyone into any religion? Ever? Did Jesus ever build a church or a temple?

Most Mormons are ignorant about their history (owned brothels in SLC for 60 years and then funded Las Vegas for $) and they have been taught since childhood to "follow the prophet"..."he will never lead you astray" and "when the prophet has spoken, the thinking has been done". In other words, the children are taught to be blindly-obedient to the prophet and to treat him like a God. A Stake President once asked, "If Jesus Christ were here and Gordon B. Hinckley (past LDS "prophet"), which would you obey. When the answer "Jesus Christ, of course" was given. This Stake President yelled! "Don't you know that Gordon B. Hinckley is the next in line to become God!!!"

True Event.

Note that Utah has the highest rate of depression in the nation (U.S. Census). Mormon men are taught that women are on this earth for them for their service, pleasure and to bear children. The Mormon men still believe in polygamy, which suppresses and abuses women (Read, "Tell it All" by Fannie Stenhouse and "Rocky Mountain Saints" by former Mormon missionaries from the 1840s. John Taylor was a missionary in Britain who converted these "saints" to Mormonism, while lying about his five wives back home; they denied they practiced polygamy. The Relief Society President has to asked for permission from the second counselor of the Bishopric. The women have to veil their faces in the temple prayer ceremony (not worthy to see the face of God). The racism against Blacks continues to this day, but the genderism against women is even worse.

The Mormons have to lie about the religion, because behind the grinning faces (facade) are people who have not searched truth about their own religion, which was pure in the early, early years and then became infiltrated (top Mason Brigham Young) and then corrupted. The Mormons do not know that Joseph Smith repented from polygamy and Masonry weeks before he died; murdered by the Masons. And who took over the church after the death of the Smiths?...

There is no such thing. We believe in being honest, true, benevolent, virtuous and doing good to all men. So states the beginning of the 13th Article of Faith. We cannot obtain a temple recommend without affirming that we are honest in our dealings with our fellow men. There is no need to "lie for the Lord" as so many of our enemies like to claim. We are not dishonest, nor deceptive. We have nothing to hide for what we teach is the truth. If the truth is hard for those who don't believe it, then that is a matter for the unbeliever to confront. We cannot change that which the Lord has declared for His truths are eternal.

It's one of the older weapons in the propaganda war against the Mormons. The scatter-gun is perhaps the most recent. We can't tell the truth for very long before someone calls us liars. Occasionally, I will examine an anti-mormon video (I know it isn't the wisest thing in the world), just to see how long it takes to get to the first deception. It is seldom long. Some of the deceptions are very clever.

I've seen things that most people believe are impossible, so I generally keep them to myself. There is no need to talk when no one is listening. There is a kind of blindness that afflicts mankind. It's like they don't want to believe. They close their eyes lest the truth become real. It is very cowardly. But when someone is ready to learn the truth, it will be there waiting for them. We send missionaries throughout the world looking for people who are ready.

What's with it? It's hooey. We don't 'lie for the Lord". People who say that, are lying themselves. It's just another anti-Mormon trick to keep people thinking we are full of it. We encourage every person to research, study, do whatever they can to learn about the gospel and then ASK their Father in Heaven what is right. I have never seen another church or religion who asks their members to find out for themselves, from their Heavenly Father, what is true. Why not ask the One who cannot lie? Study and ponder, then ask for yourself. You can find out what 15 million of us know... that this IS the gospel of Jesus Christ. The one and only.

I m LDS and we are not being dishonest or keeping things from the public about our religion. We invite everyone to come to Christ and investigate the church for themselves. The only things we don t spread around is what goes on in the temples because we consider our temple activities as too sacred to discuss outside the temple walls. Also when we learn church leaders learn sensitive information about individuals that is kept confidential to protect a church member s privacy.

Did you buy a soda at the store? No, I bought a case of soda at the store. But did you buy a soda? No, I keep telling you, I didn t buy a soda, I bought a case of soda.

Do you get a planet of your own? No, we get a universe full of planets. LIAR YOU DO TO GET A PLANET. No, we get all God has, worlds without number. LIAR YOU DO TO GET A PLANET!!

This is the typical hypocritical double standard that most anti/ex-Mormons hold us to. The first is perfectly OK, the second is a lie.

Just when you think they can t sink any lower.

"lying for the Lord" is a common phrase that anti/ex-Mormons frequently accuse us of. You ask them what it means, and they give different reasons. So, give us an example of "lying for the Lord" and maybe we could give you a better response.

They also keep claiming they are the only religion increasing in size - Liars !

What is with the Mormon (LDS) practice of "lying for the Lord"? Fake Patriarch Kirill and other fake church leaders signed a document in 2006 where it says that all religions worship the same supreme being; anathema. Last Orthodox Patriarch is Patriarch Irenaios of Jerusalem. Major heresy of the last century was that the name of the Creator doesn't have anything to

do with the Creator.

American pronunciation of the word "God/god" is "gaad" which means Satan in Ruski.

Ruski words for "English" and "angelic" are very similar; Satan was an angel.

Read only Bible that is translated by theologians. John the Baptist ate only carobs and honey. Eating bugs like locusts leads to demon possession and three stands of DNA. 666ed people eat GMO food (which is food with bug DNA).

Ecumenism has 263 heresies; each heresy leads to hell.

Roman Catholic icons are drawn from naked people.

Orthodox icons are inspired by the Holy Spirit.

When you look directly into the eyes of the figure depicted on an Orthodox icon, energy is coming your way, that is, you get healed.

If you look at Buddhist-Roman Catholic-Satanic icons, you get the passions from the person depicted.

There has been a study done by Ruski scientists. When an Orthodox Christian crosses regular water, it becomes better. When an Orthodox Christian priest crosses regular water, it becomes even better than if regular Orthodox Christian crosses the water. This is the usual.

Now, we are in the end days. In some churches (that have been infiltrated by the antichrist's minions), antichrist's blood is served. Also, scanners put 666 on foreheads at the entrance. Theotokos Virgin Mary pushed down the altars at these churches (invisible to humans). Icons in these churches are changed to Satanic-Buddhist-Roman Catholic type instead of normal. Water (instead of becoming better) becomes worse when "blessed" in these "churches".

Orthodox icons must have correct hand signals.

Correct blessing hand means Alpha and Omega

AND

Iesus Christous (Jesus Christ in Greek and Church Slavonic).

Incorrect hand signals are signifying the antichrist.

Also, do you see the scrolls on the Orthodox icons?

They will be opened when antichrist will be coming to town.

These scrolls will reveal everything about the antichrist.

Note also, calendar must be Orthodox, not Roman Catholic.

During the 8th "wolf" Council, antichrist will kill those priests who

disagree with him. Other priests will worship him when a bird dies at

his feet.

Pelageya of Ryazan said that there will only be seven churches left in the end days.

Vaccines, IVs, tooth fillings/implants, cosmetics, medicaments, certain foods and drinks, etc. contain nanochips and/or cells of aborted fetuses; intake of which leads to demon possession.

Give back your documents to the gov't and live in Ural Mountains or Alaska.

Heresy leads to loss of love. Rapture is a heresy. You have to hide with Orthodox Christians to escape 666. Reject globalism, UFOs, documents, vaccines, ecumenism, cities, technology, etc.

The only true Christians are people who rejected mark of the beast documents and drink blood of Jesus.

Note, some churches serve antichrist's blood. So, choose wisely.

Read the Book of Revelation.

It's all clear now anyway if you have wisdom to

understand that 2 elongated lines on a barcode is a 6.

Each barcode has 3 double elongated lines.

Hence, it spells 666.

Barcode on documents leads to temporary hell.

Barcode on one's body by isotope rays leads to permanent hell.

According to Vyacheslav Krasheninnikov, 666ed people will

first hide the green 666 with durags and long sleeves, but then openly will walk

with shiny green 666 on their foreheads or wrists.

The Most Holy Trinity gives you a name during baptism.

Devil gives you an anti-name during anti-baptism.

Barcode is Druid black magic curse and a form of mark of the beast just like Social Security.

People who took any number (which is an anti-name given during anti-baptism by the beast) on documents or in computer go to temporary hell;

but those who receive green 666 (given with World Passport with no name on it) on forehead or wrist go to permanent hell.

How not to go to hell?

Give back all these anti-name anti-baptism documents back to the beast

by writing to appropriate authorities.

If authorities refuse to cancel these anti-names, then write again (up to three times).

If you wrote to the gov't three times about it, but gov't refused, then The Most Holy Trinity

will not send you to hell.

Don't take the microchip. If you already took it, get rid of it because microchipped people will be influenced by computers to take the World Passport (grey plastic card with no name on it).

Don't go into a UFO to be healed by demons. Those who reject 666 will go to heaven. Also, their direct ancestors will be saved from hell.

All who call on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ or sign themselves with sign of the cross during WW3 will be saved. War in Ukraine will last two years (2014 - 2016). Then WW3 will start. Then Tsar (revealed by resurrected Seraphim of Sarov) will come to power in Russia to protect people from the antichrist. Antichrist will allow all sin. Don't sin. The Most Holy Trinity is merciful but 666 is not forgivable. 666 is given with grey plastic card.

Food stores, prisoners, and police will 666 people too. Don't get new documents. Don't get any surgeries. Don't eat meat. Don't eat fast food. Don't eat junk food. Pray the Jesus prayer.

Don't go into UFO to be healed by evil demons. Feed the pigeons. Give to charity in the name of Archangel Michael. Reject vaccines. Hide with Orthodox Christians to escape mark of the beast; leave all electronics behind so that you can't be tracked.

Antichrist's next target is the Statue of Liberty.

One big shake, one giant step forward, one giant collapse.

You use your spirit to talk to The Most Holy Trinity.

Demons attack soul and body.

Demons live inside clones. Jesus died for all sins committed by all.

Jesus said that you have to drink His blood.

All people have soul, body, and spirit.

In animals, blood substitutes soul.

That's why you're forbidden to drink animal blood.

Animals don't have spirit.

You're forbidden to drink human blood (like during blood transfusion) because sins transfer.

You're told to drink blood of Jesus (because He's sinless) so that your sins are forgiven.

Dogs are not allowed in your home and your church because the Holy Spirit will leave.

One can receive mark of the beast because of cats; so, stay away from cats.

Give to charity in the name of Archangel Michael; he rescues people from hell twice a year (or brings them up a level, that is, to a level with less punishment; eventually, people are freed). Feed the pigeons; when pigeons bow down, people are saved from hell. Birds participate in time creation. It's a sin to kill birds. Dinosaurs live under our level. They will get out through sinkholes and lakes. To kill them, go for their nerves. Save the birds; but kill the dinosaurs. First dinosaur will come out of Volga River in Russia. Since antichrist (born to a 12th generation prostitute, flying, big-nailed, gloved, pale-faced, red-eyed, Satan-possessed since he's 12 years old, homosexual man from the tribe of Dan, who wears blue robe over left shoulder while red/pink robe is underneath just like Jesus, and is surrounded by demons but people see angels of light) is around, there is no need for disputes. Forgive me.
