What religion do you follow and why do you follow it? Alternatively, why do you refuse to follow a religion and why? What impact has religion had on your life thus far?
Peace.

I'm a Shamanistic "old school" Wiccan / practicing witch. Because it works for me. Polytheism makes A LOT more sense than monotheism to me (maybe it's b/c i'm raised in a polytheistic religion). I was raised by my polytheistic maternal family who practices traditional folk religion from their country of origin. My paternal family are very religious Presbyterian pastors who have their own church. My parents divorced when i was young so naturally I had NO knowledge of the bible. Because of my polytheistic background I quickly accepted Wicca and Neopaganism during 6th grade. I blend elements of shamanism and the traditional religion into my practice. But I follow a rather traditionalist form of Wicca, hence "old school".

I don't follow a religion because they're too strict and would impede on my alternative practices.
Although I do cherry-pick from religions when the need arises, or something looks interesting, or a deity strikes my fancy.
Religion has had no impact on my life as of yet. It doesn't come up enough to have any impact at all.

I do not follow any religion at all.
I refuse to subscribe to any religion because I simply can't bring myself to believe in any. Plus, I've had very bad experiences with religion in the past.
Religion had a bad impact on me: it gave me mental and emotional probelms.
