Question:
Spiritually Speaking... 10 pts?
?

I have seen numerous questions that start of as "Spiritually Speaking" and have nothing to do with anything spiritual. Why is that? Does putting "Spiritually Speaking" in front of an etiquette or science fiction or friendship question change the question? I can understand that maybe in science or history, but in some cases it doesn't seem to fit. "Spiritually speaking, how do you say happy birthday to a princess... woo hoo" and "Spiritually speaking do you think there were moon landings?" Really? I don't get it. I could understand "Spiritually speaking is homosexuality good or evil" or "Spiritually speaking, what does it mean when it says God made man in His own image". Why do people ask the not spiritual questions by adding "Spiritually speaking". Here's one for you: "Spiritually speaking, tell me why I should chose your answer for the 10 points."

10 points for the best reason I should choose your answer, really.

You should give me the best answer because I'm that Princess she was talking about and today is my birthday.... and because I'm marrying Tim Tebow someday.

Are you asking why spiritually I deserve 10 factors? OR why do I deserve 10 factors for answering your question? the two way i will answer the two. First i'm no longer able to tension you to elect and supply every physique 10 factors like accepting Jesus it is your determination and the two way i will pray for you Secondly you're curiously searching for some cleaver answer wherein to award your 10 factors. So i'm hoping you detect that which you seek for the two spiritually and in any different case

Because religion is the most controversial subject on here. Every single person on Y!A. either believes or doesn't. Therefore, when someone says "Spiritually speaking" at the beginning of a question, they expect people to open it and start reading, then hopefully respond. And they usually do open it simply because they either want to talk about Jesus or bash those who believe in Him.

We do that because R&S is one of the most populated sections on this site and you're sure to get lots of answers if you stick your question here.

And that's why I should get 10 points.

I've always wondered why people say "10 pts".

We all know the best answer gets 10 points.

Many people have a diluted and misunderstood concept of what spirituality really is. That is why it is not suprising to see people using the word spiritually in ways that do not make sense. Lack of knowledge of spirituality is the answer to your question.
