Christians, Was Ted Haggard a hypocrite when he preached sinlessness? How come you preach the same way?

AND he is naming his church after the biggest legalist in the Bible, James the writer of the Epistle of James?! Maybe you legalistic Christians who are out there should run over to Colorado for some ego stroking self-righteousness sermons!

Come on now, he wants your forgiveness. He is apparently still circumcised into the Church of Pharisaical Leaven, so you should still get along. He repented, just as you demand. . . that should be enough, right?!

I'm not really familiar with Ted Haggard. The Christians I know don't "preach sinlessness". They are well aware that they themselves are only sinners saved by grace. We don't invite people to become "as good as we are," because we know we're nothing to brag about. We're more like one beggar telling another beggar where to find bread.

The only hypocrite here is you. You claim to be a Christian and yet indulge in sin and feel no sorrow for it nor do you repent of it. If you want to see a hypocrite just look in the mirror. And yes I know you think I am as well because you just know I worship idols even though I say I don't. Get over it. God knows what is in my heart and mind and not you. You are not my judge He is.



EDIT: I guess you would like to remove James from the Bible? It is just as authoritative as the rest of the Bible.
