Ok I do not know the exact quote or anything but this came from billy Graham's daughter......

a news reporter asked how God could let 9/11 happen......

She answerd something like this:
you tell God to get out of our Government we don't want him there....You tell God get out of our schools you might offend someone! and basicly you are telling him GET OUT OF OUR LIVES.. and God being the gentlemen he is kindly is stepping out! Then when something like 9/11 happens you get all upset at God wondering why he let it happen when in reality we are the ones telling him to hit the road!
But God uses all things for good and for his glory and many people came to him through it! i just wanted to give you something to think about!!!

feel free to share your thoughts! please keep them clean though!

God bless you! and i will answer you back if u stick around long enough so don't just ask a question and leave i'll answer it to the best of my ability!

Blessings,

I have heard that quote before. I understand what people say about keeping religion out of the schools. ....

My problem with that is the other agendas that are being promoted in the name of history... teaching our children about muslims, hinduism, etc... but Christianity not being allowed to be mentioned.

We have also allowed the promotion of the momosexual lifestyle, without allowing a balance of the heterosexual lifestyle to be presented.

It seems if it is an erosion of basic morals everyone supports it in the school system and in the media.

Our country while founded on religious freedom--- whcih by the way gives you the right to disagree with what I say- was based on biblical social principles. These are being brushed aside simply because a vocal minority is so vocal.

You asked for my thoughts and I have shared them.... for what they are worth... I will defend your right and anyone else's right to disagree.

Because of the way our constitution is written, I don't feel that God belongs in schools or politics either. God has set this life up so that we each have freewill; even the freewill to deny him. Why do we feel it necessary to impose our religious preferences when even God gives people a choice?

I think this imposition of beliefs and having God in schools has really turned people against Christianity. They don't want it forced on them, and I don't blame them. Many more people would come to God, if Christians, as the representatives of God were more respectful and tolerant of other people.

I don't think the founding fathers actually meant "freedom of religion" I think they meant "freedom of Christianity." But because of the way our country was set up, I don't think it's fair to impose God in society.

As for 911, maybe more people would be Christian and would be persuaded to live a Godly life if some Christians didn't represent God so poorly?

Lame excuses . Yes and the 'loving and merciful father' did absolutely nothing between 1914 and 1945 when we had the 2 worst wars in all history resulting in the deaths of millions of people. Don't bother waiting for the second coming will you?

Go back to Afghanistan, Osama.

My god, woman, do you have no respect whatsoever for your country? I'm absolutely disgusted at this - you might as well be spitting on the soldiers who fought to preserve our freedoms.
