Any prayer with "Dear God" goes in there!

Or the words Lord, Jesus, Allah, Please, . . . .

It's like nothing gets through at all.

God listens to all of our prayers. so if your praying to win the power ball then yes He hears it. but He doesn't always chose to answer those prayers in the way that we want. He has his own plans.

Actually, it does.

Psalm 66:18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me.

James 4: 3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions.

(the last one applies to the Powerball ;) )

Certainly not! But it seems that some prayers are frivolous and lacking merit. We shouldn't be asking God for material gain that is not an immediate need. He is not a concierge, simply there to satisfy our every want. God is spirit, and will answer, in a positive way, our prayers for spiritual fulfillment, and answer in a variety of ways.

God knows that money can't buy a person love. He cares about the persons real needs. I wouldn't call it spam because spam is evil, he probably puts it in the trash folder.

Yes - unbeknownst to to all of us, it covers any prayer that involves people asking, begging, pleading, or desiring things. The only ones that he really pays attention to in this category are the ones in which people ask god to help them sleep with somebody else. God is all about hooking people up.
The angels have the phone box.

No, it's the Recycling bin.

Each evening, a crew of angels goes round and collects them to take to the processing plant. They are then turned into spam and delivered to your e-mail each morning.

Apparently there are a lot of people praying for a particular kind of, erm, assistance.

All emails are spam to me. Humans have nothing better to do other than bug me all the time with their inane requests. They think I have the power to make their wishes come true. They need to do it for themselves. I have more important things to do like taking care of zebras in Zululand.

I think they would be filtered through your conscience before He ever received them. For some reason, the Creator of everything seems to know when His kids are trying to mess with Him. LOL! And of course there is the whole worker of iniquity thing.
