I know the protestant denominations that are in my country come from US like pentecostals, baptists and more, even some of them were originated in Europe but they have contact with US and they preach halloween is wrong and the day of the dead that's a mexican tradition but in USA halloween is popular then? how can you explain in US where the protestantism is the majority? I ask this because I see evangelicals are against the catholic traditions, that's the reason some towns they are look as against the traditions of the people

Anti-Catholicism.

Halloween is actually like Christmas Eve. The night before a Christian holy day. It is the "Eve of All Saint's Day" or "All Hallows Eve" or "Halloween." Just like "hallowed be Thy name."

Pope Boniface IV created the festival of All Saints on May 13 in 609 or 610 (we are not sure which). It was moved to November 1 about 735.

But just like Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday, the day before Ash Wednesday), Halloween has taken on a life of its own.

Christians including Catholics do not fear death, evil, or Satan. In Christ, we can laugh in the face of death.

From an email I received: Being a Christian is like being a pumpkin. God lifts you up, takes you in, and washes all the dirt off of you. He opens you up, touches you deep inside, and scoops out all the yucky stuff--including the seeds of doubt, hate, greed, etc. Then He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside you to shine for all the world to see.

With love in Christ.

Why do american evangelical christians preach in Latin America that halloween is wrong? Because the Evangelicals are insecure about their own beliefs because unlike Catholics they can't trace their denominations back to Christ, therefore they attack Christ's Church.

Also to point this out people in Louisiana "New Orleans" celebrate Martigrawe which also originated from French Catholic Cajuns.

Mexicans take the Día de los Muertos very seriously. I had my business trip to Cadereyta (just outside Monterrey) postponed until next after someone remembered the holiday.

Evangelicals are the most discriminatory, delusional, and evil of all the Christian brands. Pay no attention to anything that they say, because it will be a lie.

Because they are really good about being annoyingly pushy with their belief.
