Why can't I find a church someone says they pastor?

Why do some people say they are a pastor of a certain church and, when I try to find the church, it isn't listed anywhere?

It's because the churches are new or because they are home churches and haven't asked for their tax deduction yet. Praise God for America, where we can build new churches.

Most churches website or address doesn't have the actual name of church in it. My church is first baptist but look at the address www.mbaoc.org/fbc_marshall.htm So maybe you just weren't typing the right thing, or maybe they're new, or maybe they don't have an adress yet!!! hope it helped~

some churches rent out buildings. my church rents out a christian school..so maybe that is why you cant find them. next time ask them where they are located at.

Try the phone book or directory assistance. If you can't find it there my guess is they are lying to you.

Maybe they're lying to you. Either that or you're just not looking hard enough.
