He didn't say anything after death. Those words were said before he died.
Neurologists know that hallucinations are common as the brain starts to shut down. Christians have the most to re-examine if they consider it a vision of the afterlife, because if their version of an afterlife is true Jobs would have been facing the horrors of hell rather than something wonderful.

Most probably due to lack of oxygen supply to the brain, which can throw up very 'comforting' images or feelings. Thanx for sharing the news bit.

I have no way of knowing exactly what Steve Jobs experienced at the moment of death, so it is difficult to have an opinion of his last words.
I only pray that he came to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

He did not say any words "after" death. His last words were said before death and there is a big difference.

"he said he saw a wall of shimmering lights behind them. What evoked his sense of awe was the fact that it was so beautiful and also the fact that he was peering into what was clearly the next dimension, filling him with a deep sense of relief and release."

He didn't say them "after" death, he said them "before" he died. As to what they mean, I don't know, and neither does anyone else. The only one who knows is now dead.

What a ridiculous article that was.

On his death bed I can imagine him saying "damn you Gates".
