Question:
Illuminati and Freemason question?
?
2011-04-08 09:53:32 UTC
Ok my question here is very simple
if Illuminati symbols and everything is baically Freemason's
"Which is a real group that was made long time ago"

how come theirs 2 different groups Illuminati "Which we do not know if it really existed"
and dont trust wikipedia it could be all lies because people can go on their and put what ever

I do not believe in Illuminati but I do believe Freemason was and still is real
the reason why I dont believe in Illuminati is because it hasn't been proven yet, so we just got to wait and see until 2012 when New World Order takes place, also I DO KNOW their is signs of ILLUMINATI everywhere so im on the 50.50 side in believing or not

but yeah my main question why is their 2 groups?
if Illuminati basically copying Freemasons signs

The Freemasons exist, and they're a fraternity for old rich dudes.

The Illuminati don't exist, and they're a stock villain for conspiracy fiction

I already answer the 2nd iteration of this question but some who have answer here bare some correction.

@Falon your boss is basically right. The Illuminati has not connection to Freemasonry, especially since it disappeared over 226 years ago.

@Walking - Although basically correct, the Illuminati was not created by a Freemasons guy, quite the opposite actually, The founder created the Illuminati and then joined Freemasonry to recruit from within, He was soon seen as a user and he and his followers were removed.

@ Hal - You had me until the very end there. Then you went into the 'signs of the Illuminati' everywhere...I was hoping that was sarcasm.

@ Broken Eye - again basically correct, although I am a Freemason and I am neither old not rich. In fact I know some who are old and some who are young, some who are rich (few these day though) and those that are living paycheck to paycheck.

@ not a meme - some points correct but very wrong about the jewish part. Actually Weishaupt was a Jesuit educated professor of cannon law. One of the only non-clergy professors to ever teach in a University up to that time. So I think your mixing conspiracy theories, i.e. Illuminati and The protocols of the elders of zion (which is a complete fake used by the Russians to bolster antisemitism in Russia.)

The Bavarian Illuminati founded by Weishaupt was a real group (last I saw, this is what wikipedia references). They were similar to the Masons in that they were a banal fraternity like the Elks, Oddfellows, or even the Royal Order of Waterbuffaloes from the Flinstones. It's just something men do. The only difference with the historical Illuminati is that they were predominantly Jewish in membership.

Antisemitism led to fantastic allegations that they were hatching a scheme for world domination, because that's what antisemites always claim about Jews. This is where the mythic sense of the Illuminati came from. The myth has grown to include doomsday, interdimensional reptilians, the WTO/NWO, etc.

The prevalence of masonic sigils is due to their influence in founding the US, as fraternities are a great means of such things. For instance, early Greek fraternities were founded in order to study math at a time when math was considered magical and thus prohibited. The founding of the US was done by a secret cabal, and the Masonic lodge was a meeting place. If Benjamin Franklin's Hellfire Club were still around, it would be under suspicion too by the tin-foil hat contingency. The most nefarious activities these groups can be accused of is insider trading, or in the case of the Bohemian Grove establishing economic policy behind closed-doors. Mostly the Masons are philanthropists, as in the Shriner's Children's Hospitals and the Templar Eye Institute which provides optical services to the poor.

The Illuminati didn't have any symbols.

The Illuminati did exist ... up until 226 years ago.

There aren't two groups. The Illuminati don't exist. Freemasonry isn't a 'group,' it's a fraternity.

NOTES:

The Illuminati don't exist. It was started by five people, unrelated, who had no relationship to any 'thirteen bloodlines.'

Freemasonry is a fraternity, but not for old rich dudes.

The name Illuminati was given to a group of individuals who were seeking illumination or enlightenment behind closed doors. The name stuck, and evolved into the name that's coined to this group who is seeking to control the world and create this new world order. Some say freemasons are atheists. That is not true, since it is a requirement that one must believe in a supreme being to become a mason. Not all freemasons are Illuminati, but many Illuminati are masons. After they were captured and punished for their satanic rituals and beliefs, the "Illumanit" as it existed 200+ years ago was destroyed. Those who escaped persecution needed a place to regroup and maintain moving their agenda forward. The freemasons, already being a secret order, became their target, and they began merging with them. Today, you can't tell where freemason ends the Illuminati begins.

The reason for many secret societies throughout history is gnosis meaning knowledge. They keep, and protect, at the risk of harm or death to themselves, sacred knowledge. Some of this knowledge, it's said the average man, who has not proven himself to be wise and of integrity cannot be given or indoctrinated into holding sacred knowledge. The difference between "real masons' and as a 33rd degree mason states, "Those who call themselves masons, but are not." is the intent by what they do with this knowledge. This knowledge has been passed down in secret and only given to those who prove themselves to be worthy of having it. During ancient times, this was only given to those initiated into mystery religions. However, the Illuminati end of secret societies use his to control humanity, and to bring in this one world government.

When we look at the Illuminati though. How did they, without being part of a "secret society" already have access to this knowledge. If you research who the actual Illuminati families are, and their lineage you'll find their families have been here for thousands upon thousands of years. Their knowledge then, we can state is a family secret. You will also find within their families, the biblical anti-Christ. Everything that is going on in the middle east now is purposed to clear the path for their God to take his throne and be the ruler over this one world government. These families (in biblical history) are called serpent seed, sons of god aka decedents of the Nephillim. This one world government is only a continuation of what even history books state form the white man taking land from Indians, "to manifest destiny." They feel it is their divine right, because related to the gods, to control man, and thus far are doing a good job at it. Well these sons of god who are here now, 13 families, they are the Illuminati.

Yes, the Freemasons are real, just as the Shriners, the Elk's Club, and college fraternities are real. There's really no big story here. People like to get together and form little social clubs.

It's hilarious how many people eat up whatever they find on YouTube. If you just shut off your computer and pulled out a phonebook, you could find the address of a local Freemasons chapter, and even go out to talk to them. They're not hiding anything, other than maybe some glittery robes and secret handshakes.

"so we just got to wait and see until 2012 when New World Order takes place"

Yeah, you kids have fun with that. I've got stuff to do.

"I DO KNOW their is signs of ILLUMINATI everywhere"

Search the web for "confirmation bias". Read up on the topic.

I've actually asked my boss this since he is a freemason. He said there is no relation, and as far as he knows the illuminati is fake. Well he said that if the illuminati is real that it's not associated with the freemasons.

free masons are definitely real. Illuminati, maybe. free mason are no longer connected to the illuminati. basically i think a free masons guy, a long time ago, created the illuminati from the thirteen bloodlines.

I'm a mason and we are real, we are not seeking to control the world and there is no illuminati.
