GEORGE BUSH...lS WRONG TO WAR ISLAM?

Some people here (namely Davie and gang etc) feels that George Bush was wrong in opening up the can of worms by waging wars against islamic terror.

But I think its wrong to think that way because whether islam is terrorist or not is in its inherent character. If it is not terrorist dogma, would the world today be suffering from it? If it is terrorist dogma, is it wrong for George Bush to remove their mask of feigned 'peace'?

Do we blame the person for removing the mask of islam and showing its true colors or do we blame islam for being ugly?

Let's get our facts right.

Dubbyu is doing his part in the grand theatrical event called history. Whether the propaganda of the "war on terror" sits well with you, it is the obverse of the propaganda that Islam is a religion of peace.

Both sides are promoting the lie to the subjects, that each one will bring peace to it's adherents.

What is really happening is a fulfillment of scripture where the prophecy is "whenever it is that they are saying peace and security" then instant calamity is about to befall them.

I wouldn't sweat about GWB, or the "War on Terror", are the Islamic Jihad.

The thing wise persons should be considering is this: Do I really, truly, and accurately know the truth?

I think it is wacky, how the majority of people place this huge importance on their "eternal destiny", yet do virtually nothing to make sure of it.

The apathy of the members of most religions, to allow others to tell them what their religion means, and yet not test their holy books themselves borders on the most astonishing self medicating brainwashing I have ever come to understand.

I think that there are many many different sects of Islam and that it is wrong to characterize them all as 'ugly' because a whole religion should not be judged on one small part - these Islamic extremists. So George Bush war against Islamic fundamentalists?? The way i see it is that this new war has no geographical boundaries- he could be waging war with Islamic extremists residing in England and that wouldnt do much to secure American allegiance with England. On the other hand, it is wrong to ignore the mass destruction and terror that these people are causing. They have been taught to hate the West because it differs so much from their religious teachings. The way we treat these fundamentalists influences their view of the western world, and at the moment, our blatant hatred and misconduct in Iraq and threat to Iran does nothing to help Islamic extremists realize that we are not evil.

The war is not religious- it is economical. It just happened that the terrorists believed they were dying for their god, even though Islamic religion is more of a peaceful one.

The reason the war is economical- Bush wants a US friendly president in the major oil company seats. Plus, he got us into a war that there is no easy way out of. No other country agrees and supports us.

If the rest of the ENTIRE world hates you, then you probably are doing something wrong.

Plus, in one of my classes, we saw a BBC news flick- it was an Iraqi civilian saying Thank you for removing Saddam (they didn't like him either), but please let us run our own country. Half the people they are fighting against are rebels who want to run their own country- not have it influenced by a country (US) that is giving them no reason to want to be friends.

you are right...whether Bush waged war on islam due to its terrorist attacks or for its inherent character does not matter...{ but in this case it was because of the attack on us}....the world can see clearly the 2 sides of of islam...the one they think we believe and the one we see as truth....I'm glad the mask is fully removed and the world can see them for what they truly are...terrorists......I applaud Bush for taking a stand against those who mean only to destroy America....and all countries who stand with us.

George W. Bush is working with the secret society that is pushing for the New World Order. The only way that this can happen is through chaos and war. Old Georgey boy is doing his part by ignoring the people and congress who want the troops home.

If America never invaded Afghanistan 33 years ago ( i think it was around 33 years ago) then there would be absolutely No war in Iraq. Because we went to Iraq after 9/11 because of 9/11.

And 9/11 happened because osama bin ladden was mad at America for going into his homeland..Afghanistan.

And just to let you know..when Russia invaded Afghanistan the USA gave Osam and his crew weapons and money and more money and more weapons because America new that osama and his crew new the land (Afghanistan) better then anyone and they were the best fighters. So him and his crew kept those weapons.

Stop randomingly bashing Islam. Of course he's wrong. It serves no purpose. There was no insurgency in Iraq before the US came, neither was there a difference between Shi'a and Sunni.

Yes, George Bush is wrong because he killed over 600,000 civilians in Iraq.

I feel sorry for you. Bush has a political agenda to fill and that is waging a war against Islam and Muslims abroad and in the USA. And I stick by my brothers and sisters in Islam.

This war is about money.

Iraq has oil. Bush wants it.

Terrorism is a convient excuse to go get it.

"Wrong to war Islam?" You need to learn how to form sentences.

And yes I do think Bush is in the wrong for the war. We should bring our troops home.
