Question:
Does the modern torment of the jew have any connection with their ancestors putting Jesus to death?

My school project is "Are victims creations of their own inner demons?"

I choose to have a religious angle on this and the easter story was a good starting point.

So the jews put jesus to death and 1000s of years later cannot have peace. I wanted to ask is this eternal damnation from almighty god?

answer: this sounds like a justification for YOU to put forth bigoted ideas or else you don't realize how that is a disgusting premise and one that was responsible for thousands of deaths over the years.

Jews didn't kill Jesus. Jews were not responsible for the death if Jesus existed. Nothing about the "trial" is accurate and obviously fantasy made to absolve Romans of the execution.

1. A night trial was illegal in both Judea and the Roman Empire

2. The basis for the charge of blasphemy against Jesus was unclear. This was necessary in order to prosecute according to Judean law.

3. The witnesses against Jesus did not agree and accordingly a mistrial must be declared.

4. A trial in a private residence was illegal in both Judea and the Roman Empire.

5. The Sanhedrin did not have the right to condemn anyone to death at this time.

6. A crucifixion would never have taken place at Passover.

7. Jesus’ anticipation of his death as a covenant sacrifice is out of Greek mythology, not the Jewish religion.

8. Pilate did not have a good reason to execute Jesus as “King of the Judeans.”

9. Again, there was only one high priest. There were no high priests.

10. There was no such thing as the high priest(s) joining in on the mocking of a prisoner while the prisoner is being punished.

11. There was no such custom in Judea as releasing a prisoner at Passover.

12. Prisoners condemned to crucifixion would carry the cross-bar, not the whole cross.

13. There was no such place as Golgotha at that time.

14. Jesus, or anyone else, would not be known as “Christ, the King of Israel.” The Messiah concept was a completely different idea.

15. Crucifixion was used only for seditionists, murderers and insurrectionists, not for religious reasons or “blasphemy”. Rome would never have approved of using crucifixion for punishment for local lawbreakers, only for those who were out to overthrow the Empire. Judean religious law as very specific as far as punishment for blasphemy. The punishment for blasphemy was stoning to death and the hanging of the body by the neck from a tree or impaling it on a stake.

16. Roman law denied burial to a crucified man consequently, Pilate would never have given Joseph of Aramathia permission to take Jesus’ body for it would have violated Roman laws.

17. When Jesus entered Jerusalem prior to the Passover, it was during the Feast of the Booths and that is the reason that the people were waving palm branches and yelling “Hosannah.”

It was the Romans who organised crucifixions as a punishment for subversive and terrorist cults that arose in the Judea of the First Century. It was NOT the Jews, this was written into the record as a way of diverting the blame from the Romans to the Jews especially as the Romans had adopted Christianilty as a state religion and couldn't have any blame attached to themselves for the death of the founder. The verse in question has been responsible for more deaths and murders in history than almost anything else, including the 'holocaust'.

No the jews didn't put jesus to death, fucked up political processes put jesus to death. The "jews" were the same barstards in power in any cultural context that is inherent to the human conditions. Read about Milgrams obedience studies or the Stanford Prison experiments and ideas of group think and you have the cause. The difference is in the diaspora context the Jews were the outsiders being persecuted. And now with israel its changed, read Zimbardo, the psychology of power and evil.

Cheers on your personal growth.

replaced into Jesus Christ a Jew? *a member of the human beings of Israel? *** definite, born from Mary, a jew. * a member of the jewish faith? *** definite, yet more suitable than that, Jesus is God, no longer only a guy or prophet from Israel. which ability every time god called a clean prophet, what surpassed off? nicely he replaced into rejected. Prophets like Adam,Moses, Abraham , Isaac, Jacob,Noah who equipped the ark.Joseph Smith, , e.c.t. e.c.t. e.c.t. * in this very last remark, being rejected does no longer immediately mean that the rejected prophet replaced into despatched via God. *** Many prophets of God were/are rejected via human beings rebelling adverse to God. *** even if, pretend prophets were/are rejected via human beings dedicated to God. Joseph Smith replaced right into a pretend prophet, the rejection via non Mormons does no longer make the lies he informed/wrote authentic. Mohamed replaced right into a prophet, a pretend one. The rejection via non muslims does no longer make him a real prophet of God.

Just an excuse (to persecute the Jews and blame the crucifixion on the Jews).

The Jews had been persecuted for 2000 years all over Europe for the simple reason that the Jews would not embrace Christianity. The Jews do not accept Jesus (whose historicity is a doubt) as the "anointed one". Since Christianity is based on both OT and NT, and without further endorsement by the original believers of the OT, the faith seems lacking in that aspect.

*The Jews were avid in their record of events but the biggest enigma was that why should a divine figure like Jesus who performed miracles and claimed to be god went UNRECORDED? So many historians lived during the period of Jesus' exploits and yet not one contemporary historian recorded any of the supernatural events.

"Are victims creations of their own inner demons?"

so any person who sufferes injustice is responsible for causing the situation?

women who are raped must have been "asking for it"?

children who get abused actually created the situation in which they were abused?

people in Africa who die of malnutrition deliberately caused famines to prove some obscure point about thier inner demons?

sounds to me that what your teacher is really teaching you is that victims are their own oppressors and so you needn't waste time feeling sorry for them

In a sense yes, because the belief that they did it is one of the root causes, whether it happened or not. But pure ignorant, xenophobic bigotry is just as much to blame.

well, actually the Nazis were desperate to find a reason to kill them ( because they were very rich) , and Hitler was kind of crazy and thought that they were " impure" ...and this is why they had this situation in the world war 2. as for today's situation, well, it is a direct effect of what happend in world war 2.

God eventually saves all of us from sin and punishment and shares His complete happy experience of eternity with everyone...

God reconciles all to Himself through Jesus Christ, Who makes peace through His shed blood and crucifixion (Col 1:20). Jesus is the Lamb of God Who takes away all the sins of all the world (Jn 1:29). The creation itself, also, shall be freed from the slavery of corruption into the glorious freedom of the children of God (Rom 8:21).

Hell's punishment is not forever but until the end of the eons - eonian punishment. People don't sin enough during their mortal lives for God to choose endless punishment besides it would spoil the future of eternity to have a section continually reserved for endless torture...

People are made by God to rebel against His ideal will for them and then offered a choice - forgiveness of their rebellion, or, punishment for their sins until they have paid the last 'penny'... After punishment, those who went through torture in hell come to realise they need faith on God to succeed in life and they are converted into God's kingdom so that they cease from sinning and are rewarded for their compliance...

There are two bible translations which uphold the doctrine of Universal Reconciliation with God, and the union of all beings into experience of God as the all in each of us. For a free download of these bibles you can try this website: http://www.scripture4all.org/

No, they have been suffering because of the harassment of fools who blame them for that Jesus fairy tale. The Jews are no more to blame for that than you are. Since Jesus probably didn't exist in the first place, blaming the Jews for "killing" him makes no sense.

The original "Christians" were just Jews who didn't like living under Mosaic laws, and came up with a new, easier set of rules under a more benevolent deity. Also, it was an easier sell to converts. They replaced the Old Testament god of vengeance and wrath with a god of all-encompassing love and forgiveness, and made up a representative who "sacrificed" himself for them.

The Jews have just been convenient scapegoats for people who love to hate.

Do you really believe this?

There is no contemporaneous evidence to show that jesus actually existed, let alone who killed him.

Do you think that, even if there were a god, he'd continue to punish innocent people?

Do you think that jewish people are unable to lead peaceful lives?

Some of you religious types are plain sick

You have an element of truth here, but it is not eternal and Jews who have chosen to accept the Lord Jesus Christ are, I am sure, freed from this curse. As we see in the verses below it was the chief priests and elders who persuaded the multitude of people to condemn Jesus to death. Theirs is the greater sin but the people did say as in verse 25 "His blood be on us and our children." Sadly, this has been the case for this was and is the son of God.

If we look at the Old Testament the LORD God gave His people, the Israelites two options: Do my will and you will have great blessings, do evil and I will curse you. Very stark choices but what did they choose? To turn their backs on God. Sadly the Jews are not the only ones to do that. Jesus came to redeem people from their sins if they repented and were baptised following his example.

Matthew 27

20 But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Jesus.

21 The governor answered and said unto them, Whether of the twain will ye that I release unto you? They said, Barabbas.

22 Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? [They] all say unto him, Let him be crucified.

23 And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified.

24 When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but [that] rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed [his] hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye [to it].

25 Then answered all the people, and said, His blood [be] on us, and on our children.

26 Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered [him] to be crucified.

But this will not always be the case as we see here:

Matthew 13

15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and [their] ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with [their] eyes, and hear with [their] ears, and should understand with [their] heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

John 12

40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with [their] eyes, nor understand with [their] heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

Zechariah 12

9 And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for [his] only [son], and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for [his] firstborn.

Zechariah 8

23 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days [it shall come to pass], that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard [that] God [is] with you.

Zechariah 10

8 I will hiss for them, and gather them; for I have redeemed them: and they shall increase as they have increased.

Luke 1

68 Blessed [be] the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people,

Do read Ezekiel 37 which is too long to put here, but it shows the recovery of Israel and also Zechariah 14.

Micah 7

18 Who [is] a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth [in] mercy.

Romans 11

1 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, [of] the tribe of Benjamin.

2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying,

25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

27 For this [is] my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

Sorry this is so long but there are prophecies concerning the Jews which shouldn't be left out. I haven't put them all here but you will find links in Bible margins.

I do hope this helps you. xx
